O2 Dentistry

I have been going to this place for years & I can’t say enough great things about it! I was just there last week for a cleaning with dental hygienist Dominic Castro. Dominic is very friendly, outgoing & very knowledgeable! Best part, the cleaning was painless, somewhat relaxing, if you can believe it! I have & will continue to recommend O2 Dentistry! Another great plus, it is extremely clean & sterile.

Dr Jana and staff were very accommodating to a prior tooth issue I had. I broke my crown and they were able to take me right in. I am very pleased with the outcome and will continue to see them.

They educated me and helped me understand the issues they saw with my teeth. I really appreciated this because a lot of people will just fix what they need to & send you out the door. I’m someone who wants to get to the root of the problem and understand how I can do things better for my health.
There’s a lot of bad rep in general about dentists and how they rip people off. This is NOT true for 02 dentistry though. They went over my financial plan before they did work on my teeth, asked me for permission to move forward, and talked with me about my financial plan again after they did work on my teeth.
They are always on time, honest, & up front about costs. I wasn’t sure what to do because I needed fillings but I also have a wisdom tooth that will eventually need pulled. I didn’t want to do everything at once and rather space it out for cost reasons. They were completely understanding and told me which direction to take. I went ahead to get the filings and decided to wait for a couple months to get my wisdom tooth pulled.
Also, I had a difficult tooth. It needed 3 filings and they were all deep. I called them to explain my tooth was bothering me and they were extremely helpful and caring. They got me in the same day I called, apologized, and fixed my tooth for free. A lot of people would charge you extra but they want to do things right.
Everyone at the office is very friendly and really is trying to help you. They aren’t out to get you for all your money like a lot of dentists. Also, they tell you what you need to have done and offer suggestions but don’t make you feel compelled. I couldn’t have had a better experience. I will tell all my friends, family, and coworkers about them. I encourage you to use them.

They are great here! Very down to Earth and they explain all your benefits so you know what you are getting into. The staff is accommodating and so are the hygienist’s and dentist. They really know what they are doing. I would highly recommend them for any teeth cleanings, fillings or crowns. They will also provide with consultations for your other dental needs. I was very pleased with their service. Plus, they were quick to schedule me and very easy to work with. 5 stars!

Dr. Osmolinski in my opinion is negligent. Stay away and seek another dentist. I went in to have a small cavity filled. So small in fact, I did not need any Local anesthetic. After the short drilling, applying the filling material and letting it dry she began the process of resurrecting the original form and fit to get my bit back. She told me at this time my records indicated this tooth had a slight fracture. It was also at this time I felt she was really putting exaggerated pressure for a repetitive and prolonged period of time. She really threw her weight into my tooth. IMO way to much for this small of filling. I thought why would she do this knowing this tooth already has a slight fracture. With my mouth jammed with cotton and her going to work on the filling it was too late and difficult to express my concern. I did return weeks later where she consoled me by explaining this pain most likely would subside.
I now have intense pain with every bite a year later. She has made every meal a miserable experience. I keep thinking how ironic that she is starting a new practice (new location) and needs capital to pay off Dr. Mahooti (previous owner).
I get angry with the pain from my bite and can’t think that she could have had no other intention than to increase her profit by destroying my tooth so I would return and more work would be done.
I will not return and believe in Karma.

This is my first Unilocal review! I used to hate going to the dentist and now I really don’t mind. Dr. Jana is great, and Dominic, the dental hygienist, is a rockstar. He is super skilled and does a thorough job while possessing the remarkable ability to make the process pain-​free. Everyone is so friendly, and the office manager (Valerie, I think) took the time to help me understand my insurance coverage. Thank you guys for providing such wonderful service!

O2 Dentistry has been such a pleasant surprise. Since taking over the previous practice, which I liked very much, they have done nothing but impress me. They are such a good dental office, from the front desk, to cleanings by Dr. Ward and Dominic, to Dr. Jana, and her precise attention to detail, in a recent crown placement. It is a very comfortable environment, a group you feel good about saying, they are your dentist! O2 is my GO 2 !!

I have been going here ever since it changed the name. The hygienist Dominic is friendly, professional and helpful. Dr. Ward is knowledgeable. The personnel at the office are all friendly and it is a happy environment. They care about their patients. Appointments usually start on time.

This is was the most painless visit for cleaning I have paid in last 3 years. Dominic did a fantastic job n made cleaning procedure very easy n relaxed. Best part is like other dentistry, they are not pushy to get this done, that done .Dr ward was very sweet and explained me the X Ray properly showing the concern areas, also staff is very friendly and welcoming, they try to answer all your concerns n questions and make u feel less scary (m too scared to come to dentist in general).

O2 Dentistry sets a new standard. I came here on my wife’s recommendation and have been very impressed with the entire patient experience, from booking, check-​in, x-​rays (their machine spins around your head and takes the image in one continuous shot vice multiple films), cleaning (painless!), and a crown replacement. Dr. Jana worked quickly and precisely, and accommodated my low pain tolerance by allowing me to undergo the procedure with laughing gas, which I highly recommend. For the first time in my life, I can go to the dentist without anxiety. Thanks, O2!
PS — They’re also conveniently located next to a gas station and food court.

I have been going to Dr. Mahooti for 20 years and am disappointed that he has retired — but good for him. Anyway, I’ve come back to this same business twice since he left, most recently with both of my young kids. All of the staff from the office manager to the hygienist and then dentist did a great job. They were all very nice, informative, and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. Every staff member there was genuinely very nice to both my kids. I was going to try and find a dentist closer to my house, but it’s difficult to find a dentist you like and trust, and so I will continue to go here along with the rest of my family.
Also — there may have been some issues with the previous office manager, but they have a new one now who seems to be doing a great job.

My other daughter Taylor just had her wisdom teeth. Dr. Jana and Dr. Eric are the best! Manny and Valerie are so helpful. Office very clean.

Since Dr. Mahootie sold his practice, and Julie, his fantastic hygienist moved, I stuck it out with 02 Dentistry, figured I’d give them a chance. I’d been going to Dr. Mahootie since 1993. After some run around with Mia the office manager, and a quoted price issue, I had Dr. Christopher Dudzik repair a tooth. I was quiet pleased with his work and personality. Upon my next scheduled teeth cleaning, I was informed that Dr. Dudzik had left the week before for a new practice, and I should have received a message to reschedule my appointment, since no one was in the office that day… The only message I received was a text confirming I had an appointment for that day at 11:00 AM. I met the new office manager Jeff, who is very personable and well trained with years of experience. Jeff assured me I’d like one of the other new associate dentist’s. Sorry O2 Dentistry, you are 0 for 2 and out! Hence, I am pleased to say I have found a new wonderful dentist right around the block from my home! Best of luck O2 Dentistry.

Started seeing Dr. Jana on a co-worker’s recommendation, and have not been disappointed. Have had very good cleanings and even did Invisalign through them. Everything has gone according to plan and my concerns are always addressed. I’ve been been very happy with the Invisalign process, but having someone who cares about my experience and how I perceive my outcome has been golden.

Dr. Diegel was an incredible endodontist. I’ve had a few root canals in my life but I’ve never had one thoroughly explain every part of the procedure such as he did. He was gentle, very delicate and patient when clearing out the roots. It was a lot of work and he truly was thorough! So grateful to have found him as an endodontist. Thanks O2 for fixing my mouth, I’m no longer in any pain!

I agree with the couple of reviews below. Dr. Mahooti no longer is at the dentist office. The overall attitude of the staff is they are absolutely intending to rip off you and your insurance to the best possible. I tried to go for a regular clean up and they recommended me a plan but did not do the initial clean up which they charged my insurance for. Avoid going here if you can!!!

I have been referred by from multiple people to see Dr James Mahooti. But apparently he sold the business long time ago, he does not see any new patients at this location !!! The office manager Mia will not tell you the fact that he does not see new patients. You will end up seeing a random doctor (after you have your xrays). Don’t expect to see Dr Mahooti!!! Office manager Mia is hiding that fact, and she got me into the trap even though I specifically asked for Dr Mahooti. A random doctor appeared when my initial Xray’s are done. Such a shame, I am about to spend thousands of dollars but I got into this trap.
When I asked my xrays, she is asking xray fee and appointment cancellation fee of $ 125. Seriously, this is how you treat your patients putting into a trap and try to charge for xrays appointment cancellation, etc…

A dentist friend of mine (who was not working at Dr. Mahooti office) recommended me to go to his office for my dental needs. So I have been a patient since them (at least 5 years now).
Lucky me, I don’t have work to be done (just do my 2 yearly cleaning with the wonderful, beautiful and super professional dental hygienist, Julie) but every now and then Dr, Mahooti stop to say hi when I finish the cleaning and check if everything is ok with my dental health.
He has a lot of extra services to offer that are not usually covered by the insurance companies, but there is no pressure to have anything done there (as opposite to so many other dental offices). I don’t feel I am ripped off and asked to have X-​rays done gratuitously.
Everybody is very friendly, the service is very professional, office is very modern and nice location close to Qualcomm (even if it is kind of far from me, I keep going again and again, don’t feel tempted to change). And, very important for me, the ladies at the office keep calling me the day before to remind me of my appointment!
