Lemonade is usually good but google says they’re open till 9. They said they were closed and it was just before 8:30. Is this true or is it yet another San Diego eatery where nobody wants to stay open for the entirety of the stated hours?

The employees here are always very sweet and friendly but today Aihanna was running the register. She had a very condecending tone in her voice with each customer and would yell«i can help the next person in line!» while the previous customer is still standing right in front of the register gatheringtheir things. Extremely rude. Theres only 1 line. As soon as a customer is done the next will step up to the register, no need to yell common sense at people. I come here from time to time on my lunch break and have been here when it’s really busy and the line is out the door and even then they have never been so rude.

Two words, their lemonade! if it’s a hot day and the Starbucks line scares you then stop by to grab a lemonade! To be quite frank this is pretty much another Hotdog on a Stick. The people here are always nice + efficient and the prices are a little high considering u can buy a box of corn dogs from Costco for the price of 5. But I digress. All in all a great place to visit while you’re in the food court!

Hot Dog on a Stick has been having hard times lately. Once employee owned, the company has now gone through bankruptcy and changed form. This is one of the few locations left — others in Carlsbad and Horton Plaza have closed. The lemonade is amazing — the best anywhere at any restaurant of any kind. The corn dogs are amazing, too. For this kind of food, HDOS is an institution and it’s a shame to see them go through hard times. As another review has said, the place is understaffed. There is also a girl with black hair who works on the weekends who is a total witch. Having said that, HDOS deserves a break and I am glad that this location is still open.

Lemonade is on point. Enough sour but still sweet. How dogs are always made in the spot. Today I had a Nathan’s beef corn dog and was stoked to take a bite. The crust is nice and fried with a nice sweet flavor. The first half of the actual hot dog was cold for the first half of the corn dog. It’s a bummer but still a good corn dog. Definitely a great snack.

I always knew there was a reason why I held on to my Hot Dog on a Stick rewards card when locations were closing left and right… I’m not sure why this Muscle Beach Lemonade & Hot Dogs location doesn’t change its name to Hot Dog on a Stick already, seeing how the menu and packaging are the same; perhaps it fits the Fashion Valley location better? Be that as it may, everything you may love about the chain can be found here, from the beef hot dogs/turkey dogs/cheese on a stick, to the freshly squeezed lemonade/limeade/strawberry lemonade. And, they do honor the rewards card(double stamp Wednesdays!). While a bit pricy for a corn dog(a bit over $ 3, with combos averaging around $ 6), Muscle Beach Lemonade & Hot Dogs is still a relatively cheap option for the Fashion Valley food court.

This place can’t be good for your health, but it sure tastes good going down! I absolutely love their cheese dogs(all cheese inside, no meat), fries(so crispy) and lemonade(especially the cherry flavor). Their corn dog is still pretty good too. Only wish their prices were a little lower. All their items are around $ 3 each. I will only get full after purchasing 5 or more items.

Overpriced, understaffed, long waits for a bad hotdog and over sweetened lemonade. Pass.

Fried hot dogs and cheese on sticks. So good, yet so bad! It’s also really easy to sneak this stuff into the AMC across the way. :-)

It’s your typical Hot-dog-on-a-stick. But it’s quick, cheap(under $ 3), and although yes it’s fried, not as high-calorie as you might think — just 240 cal for their standard corn dog, and just 30 calories for small light lemonade(60 calories for regular size). Not bad for a quick bite to eat before a movie.
