Decent prices for large portions, but mediocre Chinese food. Fried cheese wontons(8) — delicious! but not good when they’re cold Kung pao chicken — too much soy sauce for my liking House special soft noodle — comes with sausage, chicken, and shrimp… yum! Thai tea boba — the tea was good but the boba wasn’t cooked all the way and was extremely chewy

This place reminds me of Chinese food from TJ, it’s that good! Salt and pepper wings are delicious. The lunches are super cheap and big portions!

We love this place for many reasons. The food is always tasty n fresh. The prices are great. The servings are large. 2 people can eat from 1 dinner serving. BTW you can order off the lunch menu anytime! Salt n pepper chicken, Mongolian beef, n house fried rice are our favorite!!! Enjoy!

This place is delicious! My grandparents love to come here. Salt & Pepper wings are amazing! Hot & Sour soup is great too! Only reason I won’t give it 5 starts is because I sometimes feel the waitresses are a bit rude.

the service is the worse. i called the server and she told me what do you want and i told her why would she come across that way then she told me what do you want me to say. then on my mom’s plate there was a hair so she argued with me. this people have no manners. i would not go back to this place even if it was for free.

The food is consistently good here. I love their chicken wings. I wish they would do BBQ chicken.

Ordered here a few times. My dad loves this place. I give it a 4 star because sometimes the salt and pepper shrimp has too much salt and I think the portions are a bit small for the price. Over all though its a nice place, the staff is very friendly and they are always polite when you’re asking questions about the menu.

Food is good. Portions and prices for lunch special are very good. Service can be doubtful at times– could use classes in smiling and courtesy, or maybe it’s a cultural thing. The pepper chicken is always good as are their noodles, the Orange sweet and sour dip they serve as an appetizer is very good. Only Chinese food my kids like. We will keep eating here in spite of the service.

If I hadn’t had the experience I had with them today, I would give them 4 starts because I’ve always had a good experience here, but after what happened today, I’m sticking to my 1 star. I normally order the Orange Chicken lunch special and have always paid $ 5.95(or something close to that). Today I called in my order and when I got there my total was $ 7.85. I asked them why it was so much and they said it was because I order the Sweet and Sour Chicken. I was soooooo confused because I thought I ordered the Orange Chicken. I accepted it was my fault, paid and left. When I got to my car, the lady in the van parked next to me asked if I was over-charged too. I told her I was, what had happened and that it didn’t make any sense to me. She said she was over-charged too and she ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken. She commented that they were being jerks today and that she would start going to the Chinese restaurant on 3rd Ave. When I got home, I looked at their menu and my food. It was clearly the Sweet & Sour chicken(like THEY said I had ordered). However, when I looked at their menu(I had taken one home from my last visit) the Sweet & Sour lunch special is $ 5.50. So I came to the conclusion that I was still over-charged. When I called them about it, they completely contradicted themselves and said I ordered the Orange Chicken. We argued until the girl on the phone asked me if I speak spanish(in spanish) and started speaking to me in spanish. This ticked me off because I speak perfect english and I’m not a spanish speaker. I told her this and so she handed the phone to someone else. I told the next person on the phone that they made a mistake and ended up arguing with her too. The moment she told me I was wrong, I cut her off, told her she was wrong and that I would not be returning to their restaurant. BUYERBEWARE!

I’ve been going here for 3 years now. Every single food that I tried is good. My family usually orders: Chicken chow mein, Salted pepper chicken wings, fried rice and some Mongolian beef. We always order to go but occasionally dine in. The only reason why I gave them a 4 star is because when you dine in, they really don’t check on you. My husband had to flag them multiple times for some water refills. Otherwise, their staff is always friendly.

I couldn’t decide between 2 and 3 stars, I went with 3 because the items I liked were worth ordering again and tasty. There are some problems though. First, the prices are above average for chinese food, perhaps its the items we ordered but the portions were not that big. They were average and in some cases below average. Second, they seem to REALLY favor bean sprouts. For example, we ordered salt and pepper shrimp and half the box was filled with bean sprouts, no idea why, other than to fill the box up with less shrimp. We really liked the beef and broccoli, and the egg foo young was decent. We also ordered chicken chop suey and it’s literally 95% bean sprouts, so we just threw the whole thing in the trash. So hit and miss. I plan to go back again because its right up the road from me, but with the problems above, having limited in the name of the place may be accurate.

New to the area seen the place so decided to try it out. Food is good not to happy with the egg rolls they had a burn taste. Call me crazy by $ 1.75 for a can soda is a little crazy and no refills. The service was bad. Maybe next time I will take my food to go.

We’ve eaten the food three times, have ordered 5 of the dishes, and have loved every one of them. Good combination of flavor and not *too* much sweetness in the sauces. I love the rice(both fried and steamed) and overall just really haven’t had a complaint yet. I’ve always taken it out, I’d like to bring my family to eat in sometime soon. There are now two pretty good restaurants in this commercial strip mall where it seems businesses go to die.

I love, love, love this place!!! I can’t get enough it’s soooo good! My fave is the sweet & sour pork, crunchy on the outside soft on the inside. Everything here is delicious, and 4 can easily eat with an order for 2 which makes it really affordable! For me it beats all the buffet style Chinese restaurants in Chula Vista but that’s just my opinion. I suggest you don’t order out just because you get a lot less.

This place serves portions just like all the other Chinese places I’ve been to. Meaning, when you order a specific dish — they really just give you an entire plate of that entrée. So in terms of portions, it’d be wise to share them with someone else. It’s a bit overwhelming for one person to eat the entire entrée. The prices are decent and the food is good. It’s a small family-run business, but it’s worth the occasional visit near home. Things I tried that are worth coming back for: 1. Salted Pepper Chicken Wings 2. Garlic Shrimp 3. Orange Chicken 4. Seafood Combination

If you like good Chinese food then this is the place to go! Surprisingly I’d never been here previously, but I’m glad my friend talked me into giving it a try. The menu is extensive and I felt a bit overwhelmed just trying to pick what I wanted. But the service was good and the workers were friendly. I tried the Beef w/Broccoli and the Chicken with Ham. Both plates were DELICIOUS. Any thoughts of price flew out of my mind when I popped that first piece of chicken and ham into my mouth. It was so good. I’ve been craving their food ever since. Not only is the food good, but the portions are also a generous size, and you get a helping of rice with your purchase. I will definitely be visiting again.

.So I decided to give this place a try because even though there were few reviews, they were mostly all good… From outside, you can easily miss this spot… it’s like a little whole in the wall… right next to a liquor store. Walking in I was surprised at how clean it looked(compared to the area). So we sat down and the server took our order. Food came in in timely fashion, probably like in 8 – 10 minutes our 3 dishes were at our table. So… THERICE– ok… not the best. not the worst. HOUSENOODLES– call me crazy but I kept tasting something minty in there? which didn’t go along with the usual noodle flavor I expect. MONGOLIANBEEF– This was pretty good… the sauce flavor was yummy :) SALTANDPEPPERCHICKENWINGS– alright… not as good as royal mandarins… I don’t think anything will EVER be as good as royal mandarin :) So to top it all off, each dish was priced a little higher than usual chinese food at other places(each one ranging from $ 8 and up)… for this price, I would rather drive the extra miles to go elsewhere. OOOOOOHANDALMOSTFORGOT… at the very end when the lady brought me back the credit card slip for me to sign, she STOOD over my shoulder and didn’t take her eyes off the slip… to see what I was going to tip. I kinda froze and gave her a look to see if she would get the hint. and her response? she POINTED at the paper. hahahaaaa… AWESOME!

I had my salt fix! Found this place on accident and I was glad I did. It’s a Mexi Chinese place. Where else do you get a roasted jalapeño with your dish? My mom and I were starving after a 3 mile walk so we headed to a taco shop by my sisters work. We looked over and saw this little gem and decided to give it a try. My mom and I both ordered a lunch combo special and were happy we did. My mom got a shrimp and a chicken dish. The veggies were fresh, the shrimp was cleaned and the food was altogether quite tasty. I also ordered the kung pao shrimp and some chicken dish. My moms was better but mine was not bad! We will definitely be returning when we are in need of a salt fix again!
