I have had flurries from McDonald’s throughout the entirety of California — and I must say — the young blonde girl who works nights makes the best Mcflurry\ice cream confections in the state. Her enthusiasm is contagious. If she chooses to continue in the food service industry, I actually think she should consider moving to a career more totally involving ice cream.

By far the best location in San Diego for McDonald’s. To start with they have two drive through lanes. It’s something I’ve only ever seen before at Chick-fil-A. The employees are very courteous and prompt, I’ve never had a problem here. I skip about three or four locations near me in lajolla to come to this Clairemont location every time.

I normally eat healthy and never like fast food places much less McDonald’s but coming here with my boyfriend really refreshed my idea on McDonald’s. The place was clean, and updated with a modern interior, it also had a cool two lane drive thru. I’ll definitely be only coming back to this place from now on! All the others should really take note.

McDonalds food is McDonalds food, but I want to give a compliment to the employees especially Alyssa who took the time to ask me if I wanted her to wait to make make sundaes because the fries weren’t ready instead of just trying to get the order filled. I can honestly say I have never had that happen at McDonald’s. Thanks for not letting me sit in the car watching my ice cream melt!

Got the order wrong! Bad services! When I return they did not apologize for the mistake. If this is how McDonald’s train their employees to deal with customer. It is no wonder the company stock is down…

They have the freshest juiciest burgers I have ever had. Way better than in n out or Hodads. Try the Big Mac with extra special sauce u will not regret it. Ohh yeah the fries are prepared fresh and hot. A++++ Gourmet Dining right here!!!

This McDonald’s is one of the worst I have been too!!! First of all they don’t even have the right time on the web site. They say the drive through is open 24 hours, but it’s not. It sucks to see that it’s open on the website and you drive to it and it’s closed. However just a little ways away is a Jack in the box that is open 24 hours. Also when I ask for lemon I’m my ice tea, I hardly ever get it. How hard is it to put a lemon in ice tea? Also not very friendly staff. I would stay cear of this McDonalds!!!

Driving yep i pull up I order the food is there in a min or two and I drive home eat great every time breakfast is my favorite at McDs is great for fast breakfast and you don’t have to listen to bad wait staff like at other restaurants. Deluxe breakfast for $ 4. about 6 with coffee, I am loving it .Same thing down the road at troys with coffee is about $ 11. plus tip about $ 15.00 eat cheap everyday. Only bad thing is timing you have to get there by 10:30 for breakfast.

HELLO, it’s just what you expect, junk food with white buns and processed cheese and basic frozen beef patties… forget about organic pasture-raised grass fed beef here, it’s just the basics. But the coffee is decent, especially if you add a shot of espresso. Five stars for an intelligent and friendly staff, who have been helpful with my menu choices and suggestions. I don’t eat at McD’s very often and appreciate the suggestions. This location in the Clairemont Town Square is clean and organized, and smells like French fries. It’s near the AAA office and The Outback Restaurant. I like a large coffee with a shot of espresso added. My granddaughter likes the little girlie toy prizes in the happy meals. She ate her apples and her fries but doesn’t eat the burger. You can also just buy the kids toy by itself if you don’t want the happy meal. My habanero bacon burger was decent for a McD’s burger. Plenty of flavor, and if you have to eat at McD’s to get a kid a happy meal, order this one for yourself if you like a spicy kick. But the burger patties at all McDonalds are NOT even remotely like home grilled. The fries are addicting when fresh. I’m pleased that the staff is trained to answer my questions in a helpful way, and can sometimes offer useful suggestions. This location has been remodeled relatively recently. It’s nice to see everything clean and new. However, they moved the cool, creative décor they used to have somewhere else.

Every Friday throughout the year heir Filet O Fish is $ 1.49. Def. an option to consider if fasting during lent on a budget. Went here last week and the place is newly renovated. Free wifi to be used at your own risk/discretion. Friendly and attentive cashiers. A solid trip to McDonald’s. I don’t go often but glad that when I do it’s great service, at least at this location anyway!

I had a burger at this Mcdonalds the other day and it tasted like my butt. Even though I’ve never tasted my butt I am assuming this is what it would taste like

My order went to the car in front of me and so the employee went to the waiting car to retrieve my sandwich and I told her I wanted another one since it had gone to the car in front of me. She assured me that I was getting a new one. When I finally got the sandwich, it was very cold and I could tell that she had given me the sandwich that had been given to the car in front of me. I will say I should have checked it before it left the window because that LAST thing I wanted to do was get back in line or go inside and make it even worse. If you give the wrong and extra food to someone at a drive thru, let them keep it cause if you don’t then you still should have to throw it away.

Can any Mcdonalds do anything right anymore… i used to come to this Mcdonalds once in a while and everything was pretty good. My last 2 times i’ve gone there, the first time they forget the fries in my meal(yes it’s my fault for just driving off) but still –__-;. Then the last time the sweet tea wasn’t even sweet! Just vanilla surup and water … total crap. I’d give them a 1 star but they’ve been ok like 20% of the time, so i’ll be generous.

When menus have many choices, confusion becomes like noises. Great that they have many choices to choose from, but, need to make it more appealing. Usual fare of McDonald’s entrees. The workers seem to be very friendly as well. Good for families, there’s a playground out front.

I went to this place for the first time in years this afternoon. Mistake. The employees here are below even McDonald’s usual standards, including the manager who was on duty. We only popped in to get a drink and use their WiFi. My mom wanted to find a store location and neither of us has a phone with internet connectivity. I happened to have my computer on me, so we thought we’d check for the store location using the McDonald’s WiFi and have a drink while we were there. Amazing how many mistakes they could make in such a brief time. My mom stood in line while I went to sit down and connect with their WiFi. There was an elderly man in line in front of my mom. Mom told me the girl behind the counter messed up the guy’s order, and Mom corrected her on the man’s behalf. The man left and Mom was about to order — complete with money in her hand — when the girl asked her what kind of Happy Meal she wanted(the man had ordered a Happy Meal.) Mom explained that she was not with the elderly man who had walked away. When Mom brought me my tea, I almost spit it out. It tasted like pure syrup. There was at least twice the correct amount of sugar in there. It was absolutely disgusting. She took it back and had them half-fill the cup with unsweetened tea. Worse, when Mom told her, «My daughter said this cup of tea you made is much too sweet,» the girl denied having poured that cup of tea and pointed to the man she claimed had done so. Mom, who wasn’t blaming anyone to begin with, pointed out she had personally watched her pour the tea. Meanwhile, I fought their WiFi for almost ten minutes. It absolutely refused to allow me to log in. I know it’s not my computer — I connected fine to another McDonald’s WiFi network just yesterday, and connected to two other WiFi networks today. So we left to go check the store location elsewhere. On my way out, I stopped to make sure they knew their WiFi wasn’t working properly. I consider letting an establishment know when something is out of order the responsible thing to do. They, however, did not consider it their duty to look into the problem. They considered it mine. I was told I had to call and tell AT&T to fix it. Um… no. That’s their WiFi and their responsibility, not mine. And when I politely told them, «No, sorry, that’s your problem and yours to fix,» I got an argument. I was told I had to call to get it fixed… by the manager, herself. Excuse me?! I have to fix no one’s problems for them, let alone a McDonald’s I might never walk into again. I told them point-blank that I am not going to use my time to fix their problem for them, and telling me otherwise is unacceptable. The WiFi is there to attract customers to come in and buy stuff(which it did.) I don’t even usually come to this location, there are two McDonald’s closer to my house. If their WiFi isn’t working, then it won’t bring in customers like me, and that makes it entirely their problem. I don’t ever have to go into that McDonald’s again, and I certainly don’t have to go there for WiFi. And I don’t intend to do so, either. EDIT: I complained to McDonald’s about this stupid incident and they gave me some coupons for free desserts. So that’s something. However, I’ve redeemed them at other locations, not this one.
