Max Weiss Photography

I’ve worked with Max Weiss for 6 years now and I have never had a bad experience with him. His photography speaks for itself. He makes you feel comfortable and beautiful! Highly recommended.

As a videographer I am very grateful for every opportunity I get to work with Max. I have only about 8 weddings under my belt but 5 of them I have had Max as the photographer and partner in video recording and editing. With my family history of photography I can honestly say that Max is extremely professional and fun to work with. Whether it is on a closed modeling set or onsite at a wedding venue he makes everyone comfortable and keeps the energy flowing. His ability to build rapport quickly with anyone on the other side of the lense makes it easier for him to capture moments and emotion with still and live media. Great eye and his shots are artistic. I refer anyone.

I’m not a model or anything but I’ve done a few photo shoots and the one with max exceeded the rest in every way. Right away I felt the professional manner of his work, and his passion for the industry. He uses top of the line tools and products which made the photo-​shoot all the more legitimate and professional. He styled me and posed me too which is good since I don’t have much experience in that. The photos turned out amazing and the only bad ones were from me looking awkward but there was no flaw in the quality of the pictures and they all look like they could belong in a magazine. Overall awesome experience!

I have worked with Max Weiss Photography on many Projects and jobs together. I have also worked with a lot of photographers in the San Diego area and he is by far one of the most professional Photographers I have met. He is courteous, professional and produces some amazing photos and video. If you want someone who know exactly how to make his clients happy then look no further.

Professional, detailed, trustworthy. I worked with max Weiss on my family holiday pictures last year. This was my daughters first pictures and his patience alone with a newborn attention span was commendable. He worked with our schedule, arranged hair and makeup upon my request, and made sure we were happy with the results before we left. We received our photos promptly (even in time to cover up my own procrastination in making my cards). If we were still in the area max Weiss photography would capture every event of ours.

If you’re looking to work for hours under a photographer only to get absolutely nothing in exchange, this is your man. This photographer has very little experience in his field and charges absurd fees for the quality of work that he offers. But here’s the best part. Even when you model for him and don’t charge him a rate (a sort of TFP) he will label your photos in your portfolio as copyright infringement. Because according to Max Weiss, if he takes a photo of you, you are not allowed to use it. Ironic coming from a photographer who doesn’t even watermark his work on his very own website. Why do trades with models? What’s the point? To hold onto a collection of half naked women for your own personal use? With no intention of editing, publishing, or marketing your work? Sounds fishy to me.
If you’re looking for professionalism, honesty, and quality work and you have a decent budget, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this photographer.
As an update, this photographer has now taken vengeance by posting half naked photos of me on his website, something that was NEVER in my consent. I had posed for pictures that were guaranteed to be implied and not nude. I will be taking legal action if these photos are not illegally removed.
It has come to the point where I have needed to contact his mother in order to get a for of civil communication going.
