After our contractor made a mistake regarding the door placement of our new addition bathroom, my husband and I were in a pickle. We originally wanted a 42×42 shower pan, but the mistake made that impossible. A 36×36 was a bit small for my husband to fit, so we needed a 36×42 shower pan. This is where Marble Works of San Diego came in. After finding fiberglass shower pans of that size had NO warranties, we decided to look into getting a shower pan made. Charlene helped us out, gave us all the information we could ever need, and was even willing to come to our house to look at what we needed and discuss what we wanted.
When the shower pan arrived, there was a small crack in the side (which is pretty normal I guess and does not interfere with use). However, Charlene and her guys fixed it anyway because it made us uncomfortable. They came back, picked it up, fixed it, and dropped it back off with no charge.
During installation, a few pieces of heavy tile fell and damaged the new pan. Charlene gave us a quote, and they came and fixed it as soon as we were ready for them. They even fixed a small nick in our new tub (that was not their product).
If you need a new shower pan or cultured marble for any reason, Marble Works is the place to go.
*Always assume the highest price quote you get from them is the price you will pay. That would be my only complaint if I had to say anything, but you do usually have to pay for quality work.
