My daughter has only attended Magic Hours for about 6 months until our move across country. But during that small time frame, she has learned so much. Her vocabulary shot up, discipline was easier to establish, and she looked forward to school everyday.
I love and trust the staff at Magic Hours. I worry more than the average person and when I drop my daughter off for the day, I know she is in good hands. I highly recommend this place. It’s smaller which I think allows more focus and attention to the children.

My daughter started here 6 months ago and I’m very happy with the school. We searched the Mira Mesa area for a pre school and in all honesty all pre schools we looked at had positives and negatives and no place stood out as a clear winner.
This is why I love magic hours
1– The curriculum is set out with a three month plan for us to view.
2– Lunch and snacks are provided with a menu available to take home.
3– The outdoor play area is great! Sandy, grassy, toy houses and slides .
4– They help potty train
Most important … MY KID LIKES IT THERE!
she comes home singing, counting and looks forward to going.

Our daughter attended Magic Hours full-​time from 3 years old (room 2) to 5 years old (room 3). She has had a wonderful experience, learning and making new friends. All of the teachers are wonderful, caring, and supportive. The school administrator is fantastic! My husband and I have visited at different times of the day and have always been impressed by what we have observed. The teachers are well organized, the children are learning and playing well with each other, and the school is kept very clean. We feel our daughter is well prepared to start Kindergarten after attending Magic Hours. We highly recommend Magic Hours for preschool!

Only if your kid is gentle and well-​behaved… mine is a handful little boy who, at 5, loves to run around and challenges anyone who crosses his way. One of those kids who’ll push your limit very quickly.
A long story short, MH didn’t bother with him: he got kicked out in no time. I didn’t expect that from «professional» educators… They simple didn’t try! (and/​or care)

My son has completed Kindergarten now and is entering the first grade. We’re still thankful that he attended Magic Hours. My wife and I both feel that he got a great head start by going to this school/​daycare. He was doing a lot better than many of the other kids in his class right from day one, and I give some credit to his time here.
Also, a big thing — he was already used to being dropped off for class, and was secure in his knowledge that we would be there to pick him up when the day was done. He didn’t waste any valuable learning time crying for us!
We still live in the area and say «hi» to Magic Hours every time we drive by. :) My son also wants to go visit them, which I think says a lot.

My boys currently attend Magic Hours and they absolutely love it as do I. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed into a very comfortable setting and the classrooms are just as inviting to the kids. The teachers are fabulous and you can not ask for any more. If you have any questions, the staff is happy to talk and answer any questions. They are really here for the kids and to help the parents fill comfortable. I would recommend this facility to anyone and everyone.

When I first moved out here to San Diego… I didn’t see many day cares around and I was very nervous about finding one. One day I found this place after leaving another… All i have to say is, the people there are THE best. Ms. Patty, Ms. Holly, Ms. Mariam, Ms. Kim… All of them were like family. They are really really good with children. You will be at work knowing that your kids are being well taken care of and having a good time. Of course, day care is expensive. Always remember, you get what you pay for. I may pay a little more here but for the care my children received here… Priceless.
