Alex is great. He is one of the few male stylists I can go to that I actually enjoy talking to. Most I find are a little too flamboyant for me but Alex has a way of doing a great job while still able to talk «Guy Talk.»
He also has a great computer, internet, and tech setup…

Alex and I met through Groupon and we hit it off instantly! He made me feel so comfortable in the chair and really listened to my concerns about my hair. Every time I go in to get a haircut it’s like catching up with and old friend. My last dye job was over 4 months ago, he turned me into a fiery red at my request. I came off of his chair that day flipping my hair around like a super model and STILL get compliments about his coloring job! I have never had a red dye job look so good for so long! He is an amazing artist of a hair stylist.

Alex is AMAZING! he knew just what to do with my hair. Perfect well blended highlights and a haircut that went well with it! I extremely recommend him.

Alex is nice and does the job well. However, I am super super picky when it comes to my hair. I really liked the highlights he gave me, but I was not crazy about the haircut. It was still good, I just had a better one before. I would have to keep searching for a hairstylist that satisfies my high demanding expectations in highlights and haircuts. Does anyone know one? I’ve always had hairstylists that would do well either haircuts or highlights but never both!

By far the worst stylist I have ever been to. He is extremely rude and completely butchered my hair. The hair on the right side of my head ends at my chin and he failed to even layer the left side. He completely rushed through my hair cut and didn’t even take the time to ensure that my hair was cut properly
Even worse, I called him back to schedule a fix up and he again persisted to book me in between clients to rush through my hair again.
If you care about your hair, don’t go to him.

I bought a groupon style coupon and hoped for the best because I was looking for a hew hairdresser. I brought in celebrity pictures of hair cuts and colors I liked and hoped for the best.
Alex was so warm and personable which put me at ease. (I was going from brown to blonde) I sat in his chair for about an hour and a half and wallah! My hair looked perfect! The shades of blonde matched my skin tone perfectly! So perfect I made an appointment right then and there for the next week to get the Keritan Treatment.
The salon itself is really cool– he even played a little Lady Gaga and offered me a glass of wine!
I would recommend him to anyone as he said himself that he doesn’t have a favorite thing to do, he does it all! Men, women, cuts, colors (and soon, even makeup!)
Overall two thumbs up and five stars for Alex :)

Seriously, I went in with an old red dye job and two inch roots, I was a major challenge. I had a picture of Olivia Wilde and my fingers crossed. Alex is a master! It was SPOT ON to the picture of Olivia Wilde I took in, chestnut brown with carmel and golden highlights! Never have I had that experience where they actually do EXACTLY what you want! Of course I would like her bod too, but Alex can’t help with that.
Alex really listens and takes his time. He truly loves his work, and it shows.
Thanks for making me look great for my sisters wedding!

I have a LOT of hair and it’s definitely more manageable after a cut from Alex and I like the shape, weight and feel of my hair after wards.
I’m really digging the set up of the salon although; a salon within a salon.. Kinda inception-​esque I guess.
On the real though, it’s semi private and more personal… what can I say I like the attention. I’m just not a fan of the strip mall locations where passers by peer in like voyeurs while I”m mid-​transformation. While I may on occasion act like one, I am not a zoo animal.
Oh and Alex is cool, conversation is light and fun. I’m pretty sure he’s appointment only, I can’t imagine anyone walking in because you wouldn’t even know there was a salon in this building unless you were familiar with the immediate area.

I walked into LX Salon with fine (ok, thin), damaged, brassy, so-​not-​pretty hair & walked out looking like a model. A hair model at least :)
Alex persuaded me to try the Global Keratin treatment and I am so glad he did! I have heard all the stories about other smoothing/​straightening systems so I was more than a little terrified that my hair would be damaged or worse.
Feeling brave, I took a leap of faith and gave him total control of choosing my color as well. After a color consultation, he worked his magic. The color & highlights turned out absolutely beautiful and natural, much more flattering to my skin than what I walked in the door with, and then the keratin treatment began.
The time flew by while Alex applied it to my hair and began the ironing process. After he spun me around to face the mirror and I saw the part that had been done, I was in shock. My «new» hair is like buttery cornsilk. You know the old Pantene commercials where a model fans her hair out and each piece cascades through the air flawlessly? I never thought that could be possible, but it is. My hair looks strong, healthy, and oh-​so-​shiny. I am a believer!
Absolutely brilliant! If you are considering getting this done, Alex is your man. Totally affordable and the best thing I have done in a very long time. I’m very excited for a summer with frizz-​free hair!

Alex is awesome! He did a great job on my highlights and haircut. I have curly hair and he gave me the perfect cut! Highly recommend going to Alex.
