History

Established in 1975.

We built Lock-​it Lockers Self Storage warehouses back in the 1970’s because people wanted clean, safe and convenient storage solutions. We still own and operate them today. We’ve learned a lot over the years and we know our customers want to work with friendly location managers who provide outstanding service to everyone.

Most of our managers have been with us for years. We are proud of them and proud of our continuing relationship with thousands of satisfied Lock-​it Lockers storage customers.

This is a great place t do business. They are so friendly and accomodating to all your needs. I called around before i rented a locker and they had the best prices. Then when went there mistakenly i walked into another storage place thinking it is them. Those people were horrible and looked angry. I needed some extra space for some stuff and after some searching I found this place. The staff is very friendly and helped me find the perfect sized unit for my needs. They allowed me to rent month to month and even set-​up an auto-​withdrawal from my credit card. Thank you!

I needed a storage unit to store some things for my impending move, so I turned to Unilocal.I arrived got the unit size that I needed and, paid for two months in advance, since it was half for those two months. I won’t need it the third month, since it goes up to full price.
What I didn’t like is that the units were built on a hill, and it’s a little hard to maneuver around the buildings with a van.

I like the staff here. The ladies at the office gave direct answers to any questions I had. I found them helpful, especially when it came to me moving out. Great storage space for the price compared to competitors (I stored with them for about 2 years). The grounds are well kept and there is a good smelling bathroom on premises. There were no issues with my unit. I would do business with them again.

About a few years a go, after months of keeping my belongings in this facility, we changed storage company. We received a very stern letter that their water pipe broke. They moved our things to another storage company. After going through our boxes and stuff, a lot of them were damaged and molded. We couldn’t go through them until a month or two after the incident, so after getting wet and cooped up in a giant plastic bag, you get molded crap. They did nothing to replace them or attemp to, we got nothing but «your insurance should pay for them because we’re not responsible.» Very unprofessional to the end.

I had a good experience with Lock it Lockers. There prices really have no competition. I shopped around and they are by far the cheapest. They’re online half-​price promotion lasts for the first two months and then the price goes up… but still not to the full price. It’s like 2⁄3 of the the full price… still the best deal in town from the research I did. The customer service was excellent. They were very upfront about everything and explained it all in great detail answering any questions that I had. I recommend them… although they don’t need it. They’re full most of the year. But when they do get some space open, if you call and have them put you on the list they are very good at getting back to you about it, at least in my case. You should use them if you need storage and get lucky enough to find an opening.

Because personal space shrinks as years go by, I find myself in need of leased storage from time to time. You know: a place to keep stuff I don’t need for a few years before I finally make the decision to donate it to Good Will, right? Makes perfect sense.
I found Lockit Lockers a few years ago and, frankly, love it. I know: that statement is probably included in the definition of some mental disorder, but it’s true: I love my storage place.
–the hours are liberal
–it is well maintained
–there is a bathroom
–the prices are OK
–There is a dumpster you can use (but not abuse)
But mostly I love it for the people. Irene runs the place and is an absolute delight. She actually remembers who you are! And her help is cast in the same mold.
Not only do I get a great storage experience at Lockit Lockers, I store with peace of mind that I’m not patronizing a business that supported Prop 8. That would be A-​1 Self Storage. Whatever you do, don’t put your stuff there!
