I guess they value SHADYNESS over the truth. Imbeciles.

Another nice office with some friendly employees who seem helpful. What’s the reason for the 1 Unilocal STAR? Hearing Examiners who conduct appeals and will not hear any kind of criticism of their ticket-​writing happy cops. My son presented a slew of proof as to why his ticket should be dismissed. I even appealed to this man as this is the holiday season and might he not find charity in his heart for a poor student and his mom? These are his exact words back: «I understand your situation. Let me see what I can do for you.» What did he do? Uphold a bogus ticket that my son will now appeal again. If these paper-​shuffling bureaucrats have nothing better to do with their time then ignore solid evidence that backs a claim that a ticket is not valid, then they truly are all about the money. That’s okay. There are places to complain about these bozos and then they can hassle with defending themselves, like they make everyone else do.
