Asaph’s staff is also great and very understanding — we arranged to have our fees spread out in installments so as not to be burdensome and when we had to miss a few due to unforeseen circumstances, they did not penalize us for this. I would highly recommend to anyone considering estate planning, trusts, and wills.

I had a 20 minute consulation with Mr. Abrams last summer. I felt his demeanor to be slightly condescending and detached but he clearly knew the bankruptcy process. My instincts were a little iffy on this guy and the support staff but I retained him anyway because I wanted solid representation, not a best friend.
This is the most expensive credit report I ever ordered: 300.00!
In all seriousness, this was the initial retainer I felt pressured to pay for Mr. Abrams’s representation. Unfortunately, I was unable to make continued payments toward the 1700.00 fee due to obvious financial turmoil. They kept the 300.00 consultation fee so I was understandably upset and clearly felt taken advantage of (as they did nothing except order my credit report). My case was ordinary and uncomplicated. there was certainly no «extensive review» needed for a cluster of unsecured debt. I’m just grateful I didn’t pay any more or they would have kept that too. I did contact the blonde legal assistant twice via telephone and she advised me that fees would be retained and no refund were to be issued. She made it pretty clear, although nicely, that I was SOL. In fact it was her, and not Mr. Abrams that pressured «the sell». Ultimately, we all make the decision to use our money in a way we feel is most appropriate. Bottom line is that I have no one to blame but myself, however, I also feel the service provider needs to re-​evaluate their tactics particularly in an industry where people are already at a vulnerable point.
Mr. Abrams. feel free to thank me for the extra 300.00 I put in your wallet for doing absolutely nothing.

I found Asaph and his office staff very responsive and helpful in setting up our paperwork, providing advice and getting our properties transferred under the trust name. They charge a very reasonable fee. I highly recommend this law office, they really care about you and make you feel at home.
