My boyfriend got his very first tattoo here and they were the nicest people and got the best vibes.
The owner of the place was his artist and did a fabulous job on his piece. Very helpful

Office manager extremely rude and unprofessional.
We had an unfortunate experience that could have been avoided with better communication and customer care.
There are skilled artists there, but customer courtesy needs improvement.

Johnny Crash was the one who took care of me today! He is an amazing tattoo artist! Very personalable, kind and a sweetheart! The whole store is clean and the music rocked! I will definately go there again and see him for all my tattoos!

Came in as a walk-​in and had a picture sort of close to what I wanted, threw in a few preferences and ideas, and Chris nailed a drawing pretty quick. Place is chill, clean, proffesional, and affordable. I’m from out of town, but I’ll still make sure I’ve got something worked out in my mind when I come back to San Diego so I can work with Chris again. Worth mentioning that my fiancé was also with me and Chris nailed her tattoo as well. Hers was exactly like the photo she showed, and it was perfect.

I love getting my tattoos here! John tieken is quick and amazing with the artwork and trying to make it unique. I trust this tattoo artist since this is where i got my first tattoo and because he has never failed me! I recommend this place

Last Days Tattoo Company: a place I would never have bothered to visit if my artist Devon Dagger hadn’t switched shops. Being quarter-​sleeve however, I followed Devon on her relocation and ventured into the unknown territory known as «Last Days Tattoo Company». The shop itself is very long and very narrow, located on the popular street of Newport Ave, in Ocean Beach. The venue is nice and the interior has plenty of room for decorations and artwork to be hung up, which the shop took advantage of. The parking is free (2 hours max) which is a plus, but may be a little difficult to find. There is plenty of room for each artist within the shop which I also thought was nice.
Now a little about my tattooing experience. Devon absolutely killed my left leg. And I mean killed in the best of ways. I think we spent over 12 sessions on it, from the first outline to the final touch-​up. I couldn’t be more thrilled about how my leg turned out. What started out as a crappy Photoshop render I put together, is now a permanent piece of art on my leg. Devon truly has a passion for what she does. Her touch is light, she is patient, and incredibly meticulous when it comes to tattooing. Her sketches are near perfect and she really listens to what you want. Her price is affordable and she is the coolest cat you will ever meet.
In between complex and overly large tattoos, I venture out to other shops and get work done by other artists. However as soon as I have an idea for a sleeve or amazingly complicated piece I want, Devon is my go-​to artist. I’m looking forward to what her and I can come up with next to draw on my body.
Last Days Tattoo Company; you were definitely worth my time. The only complaint I have is they don’t have stickers, which I enjoy collecting from the shops I go to.)-:

I finally got my first tattoo. Kori Kim is an amazing artist! I gave her a picture of the design I was looking for and she made the artwork come out even better than the picture I initally gave to her. She is welcoming, very patient and professional. Before leaving the place, I had already received compliments on my tattoo.
The place has all kinds of art work on the walls and has a great low key vibe. A clean place that I would trust again and again. Kori went above and beyond for my wife and I. We will both be returning to see her for future work!

Chris has great line work and I highly recommend him! I walked in with everything ready for my first tattoo (I chose the font and had the exact size, had the print out, etc.) and he was able to accommodate my request to fix a few letters that were bothering me. He’s really friendly and professional and I plan to get more blackwork from him! Thanks!

I’ve been inked here before, about a year ago, and had an amazing experience with Johnnie. I went back for a small song lyric tattoo, I’m not sure which artist I was with this time, but it was not Johnnie. This time, it seemed like no one wanted to spend 30 minutes on a souvenir tattoo. And it was very expensive (almost double what I paid last summer for a larger piece). I’d printed out the exact wording that I wanted, but they still ended up mis-​spelling it. Also, the lettering is very irregular, some parts are really thin, others are so thick it’s hard to distinguish what it says. I’m definitely not happy with this tattoo, but would go back for Johnnie. The shop is clean, they’re very nice, my only issue is that this particular tattoo sucks.

Ina is AMAZING! Shes super cool and chill and her line work is on point! Got my first tattoo today and she made me feel so comfortable! For sure going back to her for more ink!

Chris is awesome! He was really patient and made sure the design came out exactly how I wanted it. Last Days closes at 11pm on Fridays. I arrived at 10:30pm and he was excited to tattoo me. Chris finished my piece in 1 hour and stayed until 1am, never complaining about time. Apart from his great attitude, I’m in love with my new piece! Very clean work and didn’t shade too much. Just how I asked. If you want a great tattoo artist, Chris is the way to go at Last Days! I will def come back for my next tat.

I’ve gotten four or five pieces done by John Tieken and they’re the ones I get the MOST compliments on! He’s done such an amazing job on all of them– I’m a walking billboard for him! Even though I moved back to Chicago I always tell people if they’re ever in San Diego… Get tattooed by Tieken! I also got some great script done on my inner arm by Nate Anderson when he worked there. Couldn’t be happier with everything!

Ina is the most amazing soul alive. She did my tat, the lines were clean and I’m absolutely in love. She started by sketching out a little drawing then transferred it to a piece of paper and put it in my chest. 45 minutes later I had a bad ass Star Trek tattoo! I highly recommend Last Days! Please go see Ina!!!

My boyfriend and I recently went to Last Days to get some tattoos done as a last minute thing. They got us in, even after hours, were very friendly, and did a great job. Chris did great work and we will be back to see him for all our future work. Thanks so much!

This shop is on point. Great vibes all around. My roommates good friend is guest spotting there, Samuel, a great artist that fits in with the other amazing artists there. Kori Kim is a bad ass artist and amazing person, I plan on going to her for some work also! The shop is clean, great location, friendly awesome folks, the whole 9! Thank you Last Days!

John Tieken is the man! Two of my friends are getting their tattoos there (one by John) and it was AMAZING! So 3 of my friends and I will be returning to get tattoos.

I have been going to Last Days for six years now. The shop is also full of some great art as well as the best tattoo artists in the country. Everyone is very professional and helpful to answer any questions when you have one.

This review is long overdue! I’ve gone to see Nathan and have had several tattoos done by him. Not only is he very professional, but he is an amazing artist too! He’s done a beautiful job with two tattoos that were extremely meaningful as they were tributes to passed loved ones, and he’s also done a terrific coverup of an impulsive tat I had done a number of years ago (needs a few touch ups, but otherwise really well done), weaving the coverup with another tat already there. I have not been worked on by the bossman (although his art is also amazing), but I’m very happy to stay with Nathan.
I’ve also had work done by another artist at the shop (sorry I’m blanking on your name!). Although it was a last minute change of artist (which at the time worried me) I was not disappointed with the final product — the Griffin from Alice in Wonderland.
Although I have not been worked on by the bossman as I tend to stay loyal to one artist, I have no doubt I would love his work too (based on his paintings that cover the walls). If Nathan were not there, I’m confident any artist there can do a kick-​ass tattoo. And even if you don’t want a tattoo, the place is as much an art gallery as a tattoo parlor. I have been to Last Days twice now and have had a great experience both times. The first was kind of a spur of the moment thing. I worked with Nathan, he was able to draw just what I wanted and brought all the key elements in. The second tattoo was also with Nathan, it was by appointment and went just as smoothly. We had talked about what I wanted and he had drawn it up to perfection. I love the details he put in. I can’t wait to go back and add color Everyone I have met there has been welcoming and friendly. I am sure I will be getting my next tattoo there as well. Thanks Guys
