History

Established in 2013.

Lamp Disposal Solutions is San Diego County’s newest leader in the lamp recycling industry. Our mission is to promote a cleaner, safer environment by providing our clients with environmentally responsible solutions for mercury disposal that ensure strict compliance with city and state statutes, thereby benefiting our environment by reducing the amount of toxic chemicals introduced into our landfills.

Lamp Disposal Solutions provides simple and efficient lamp recycling programs that will eliminate the headache of managing your obsolete lamps and all the legal paperwork involved in their disposal. We have the technical and legal experience to handle universal waste such as fluorescent lamps and lighting ballasts and dispose of them safely and legally. Our professional staff has been fully trained in lamp disposal handling and providing exemplary customer service.

Lamp Disposal Solutions is a privately held company, and is a division of Recycle San Diego, an electrical waste recycler.

Jeffrey H.

Business Owner

Jeffrey Harding’s commitment to service cuts across several arenas: service to customers both old and new, stewardship to the environment, and service to the community. Jeffrey has made it a special objective to support the South Bay Family YMCA Teen Center with cash donations, computers and other electrical equipment to support their youth programs. Jeffrey has donated funds to I Love a Clean San Diego, the San Diego River Park Foundation, Being Alive San Diego, the Las Palmas Little League, North City Youth Baseball, and the Solana Center for Environmental Innovation. Jeffrey is also an active member of several civic organizations including Accion San Diego, the Hillcrest-​Mission Valley Lion’s Club, and the Lincoln Club of San Diego County.

In September 2013, Jeffrey was recognized for his charitable works and service by the San Diego Business Journal’s «25 Under 30» awards program which reviewed the contributions of over 100 young entrepreneurs in San Diego.
