Just had an old crown replaced yesterday. They did a great job! And everyone was very nice to deal with. It’s a great group that does a great job. Not sure what else I could ask for.

I can’t believe I haven’t completed a review for this office yet! I continuously rave about the staff at BHD. They are friendly, personable and professional. I’m waiting patiently to see my favorite hygienist Kim who is booking out a month presumably because she is so amazing that everyone wants to book with her! Definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to find the dentist an enjoyable experience.

It’s so rare for someone to actively like the dentist but the reviews don’t lie — Dr. Gallipeau and her staff are so wonderful that it makes the entire experience as pleasant as can be. From the first time I called, I experienced the kindest customer service and everyone I have dealt with through the whole process of getting checked in, getting X-​rays, cleaning and the actual exam, have all been so friendly and personable every time I have come in. They really make it a point to get to know you and care about their patients. I am so glad to have found them!

I’m actually shocked that I have a review yet. I have to say without a doubt this is the best dental experience I’ve ever had from start to finish. The woman who work at the front desk are absolutely wonderful at their jobs. You can also tell that it’s not a fake or phony type of positive attitude they’re genuinely really that nice. I don’t ever really remember going to the dentist and being in a better mood when I left but that is the case at this place. I recommended so many friends there including my sister who absolutely loved it as well. Also the front desk is really good at helping you work your way through your insurance. I was advised to wait for some dental work for the following year since I got it done towards the end of the year because my insurance would cover it if I waited just a month. I am so glad that I did because it save me so much money out of pocket and I wouldn’t of known Linda at the front desk didn’t tell me. Each time I’ve had an amazing experience with the assistant Gustavo. And just recently my teeth were cleaned by Kim who also was quite lovely and seem to really love the job which is really nice when you go to a dental office. As you can tell I absolutely love my dentist and I hope that if you choose to go to her you’ll had the same experience!

Bankers Hill Dental office is a pleasure to visit. The entire team demonstrates superior customer service and true concern for your well being. I would recommend them highly.

Really impressed by Dr. Gallipeau and her staff. I feel comfortable communicating with them and being at their office. The TVs on the ceiling are a nice touch and it’s great to hold the remote and flip around the channels. The office is decorated beautifully. Janie and Linda at the front desk are so kind and helpful. They are upfront about costs and took the time to make things work with my insurance. Dr. Gallipeau recommended me to a good orthodontist and communicated with her to create a solid plan. Gustavo is welcoming, he talks with me and gets things ready before before Dr. Gallipeau arrives. The entire staff seems like they are all genuinely good people. I highly recommend Bankers Hill Dental.

I am one of those rare folks who actually likes the dentist. I have had some great dental experiences, but when I moved to San Diego I had a sub par experience and then slacked off going for about 2 years. My sister recently went to Dr. Gallipeau and insisted I give it a try. I was not disappointed.
1) Super friendly. Made you feel welcome immediately. Also, I had a very weird situation with my insurance (they have the wrong first name) and while Dr. Gallipeau’s office made me aware of the issue and suggested I get it taken care of they also handled everything and made my first appointment smooth.
2) Insanely prompt, it was my first appointment so x-​rays and the full program, but I barely waited at all. I went from completing the paperwork, directly to having the x-​rays and pictures taken of my teeth. Dr. Gallipeau was there to review my x-​rays and pictures in under a minute. Straight from her exam I went to have my teeth cleaned.
3) Honest. The reason I didn’t love my first San Diego dental experience was they found what they called a «pre-​cavity» and recommended a very expensive treatment not covered by insurance, and then continued to call me frequently. 2 years later Dr. Gallipeau noticed and said it was something to keep an eye on, possibly fill.
4)Clean and Comfortable. Very clean, which is a deal breaker when it comes to a dentist. Nice extra touches, (TV on the ceilings). Checked to see if the temperature was OK for me.
5) Overall Experience was beyond good.

They have met all of my expectations + more. I think Dr. Gallipeau is professional and thoughtful and love my hygienist. The front desk staff is friendly. A+ so far!

I’ve been fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Gallipeau’s for 4+ years. My experience has been an outstanding one. From Linda and Jeannie at the front desk, to Dr. Gallipeau and Dr. Espinoza in the exam rooms, the friendly, courteous and professional service make me look forward to my twice yearly visits. My hygienist, Nicole, is awesome and amazes me by her ability to never forget information shared in conversation. The exam rooms are relaxing and make use of the most modern technologies. Nice LCD TV’s on the ceiling with ESPN and other channels are a nice perk. In my opinion Banker’s Hill Dental is the best dental service in San Diego, bar none!

Dr. Gallipeau is such a professional and Dr. Espinoza is a class act also. My friend Gilbert recommended I come here for my dental needs and I’m so happy. he did.
Actually, I have been totally remiss in getting [ a kind of expensive ] surgery –from a different office and everyone at Bankers Hill Dental have been so patient with me! See once I get this procedure I then need to return to Dr. Gallipeau and get my crown in.
I’ve had my temporary re-glued.twice…and then for the 3^rd time ;.[ I ate it. Ooops. Dam sushi!

Makes you want to swallow your temporary crown, so you are forced to come. back for more of this dental nurturing. Ok, maybe we don’t go this far.

My daughter and I continue to see Dr. Gallipeau. I find that the office staff is always so accommodating. I truly feel that Dr. Gallipeau knows her stuff. I have been to many dentists in my life. She is experienced and most importantly trustworthy. Dr. G did not create a list of everything that I needed to do with my teeth. I loved my past dentist but felt pressured to get work done that I couldn’t afford. All of the staff is caring and have offered my daughter and I excellent service.

This place is great! They have TVs on the cieling and as someone who is a bsy fulltime working mom who NEVER watches TV, this was a fun treat! Also, they don’t just take x rays of your teeth, they take pictures with a little wand camera they stick in your mouth.
Christine the hygeniest was so great. Talked just the right amount. And Dr. Gallipeau? she is great too! Complimented me on my teeth which always helps. :-)

I’ve been looking for a dentist who doesn’t treat the inside of my mouth like they’re working under the hood of a car… banging tools around, spilling fluids and inflicting unnecessary discomfort. I’ve also been looking for someone who doesn’t try to rip me off with expensive and unnecessary procedures. I decided to give Dr. Gallipeau a shot today and I was incredibly impressed. Janey the receptionist was beyond friendly, the office was neat and clean, the dental assistant Gustavo was efficient and attentive and most of all, Dr. Gallipeau was a real professional. I was totally relaxed and didn’t feel an ounce of discomfort the entire visit. I HIGHLY recommend her.

A year prior to moving to San Diego I had a difficult experience at the dentist getting numb for a filling. The anxiety around this made me procrastinate in going to a new dentist here. But after a week of a toothache I knew that it was time.
The Unilocal reviews did not let me down. Bankers Hill Dental is amazing in every way possible; I’d give it 6 stars out of 5 if possible.
Upon my first visit Dr. Gallipeau was friendly and genuinely listened to my story and concerns. She went over the options to move forward with some fillings and made sure I had a clear understanding.
When I came for my first appointment Dr. Espinoza performed the dental work. Again, she listened to my concerns, and could not have been more accommodating; ensuring my comfort was the most critical component of the appointment.
Beyond the superior dental services, the office is clean, administrative & assistant staff are just as friendly and accommodating, and they do a fantastic job with appointment scheduling and notification.
I could not be happier with my decision to choose this practice!

This place makes me wonder what was up with other dentists I’ve seen in the past — it’s like the Nordstrom of dental offices! The entire staff are the nicest group of people you’ll ever meet. No one likes going to the dentist, but they all make it so painless!
I had to have some major work done and was a bit nervous about it, but Dr. Espinoza is the nicest, kindest, caring lady ever! She totally remembered me from my one previous visit, was very attentive, kept asking if I was ok, etc. etc. I highly recommend this place!

Well, I have reason to believe Dr. Gallipeau is a distant cousin, but I will set that aside for the sake of impartiality.
Dr. Gallipeau is a great dentist. Her dental hygienists/​assistants are very thorough and knowledgeable and I always feel like I am in good hands. I have had two other dentists, since moving to San Diego and it has been hard to find the right fit, but I’m finally there.
My teeth are in relatively good shape, minus some cavities that I had from when I was younger and chewing a lot of sugary gum — Wrigley’s class action anyone? So most of my cleanings have gone smoothly and I have never been thrown for a shady upsell… it’s just not that kind of place. I did need an implant, however, from a congenital missing adult tooth. Dr. Gallipeau made a great recommendation on an oral surgeon and she will be finishing up with the crown next month. So far so great!
Overall, compliments to the entire staff, from the front desk to the head doc! Wait are dentists really doctors??? JK JK!

I have never had such an amazing experience at the dentist’s office!
My whole life, I had seen the same dentist and was completely comfortable with him and everyone in his practice. Upon moving to SD, I decided to push off the daunting task of finding a new one that met my expectations. Needless to say, after some time, I knew it was time to bite the bullet and find one. I asked friends, co-​workers, and Unilocaled a million different practices… Ya know how you can just read about a place and instantly love it? Well I got that vibe from them. I instantly made an appointment and got one about 2 weeks later.
From the moment I walked in, the receptionist was wicked friendly and chatty. Then I was brought back for a bunch of X-​rays by Gustavo. He was just as cool. Next up was Dr Espinosa. She was amazing. She was so thorough in her examination. (Side note: Above your seat is a TV screen. They display your X-​rays there and go through each one with you and describe what they are seeing. Pretty neat.) I then got my cleaning from Nicole. She was an awesome hygienist with tons of knowledge in her field. I loved that even though they knew I am in the medical field, they explained everything to me and were so professional.
They hire some great employees who not only are dedicated to their work and are completely competent, but they have great personalities and are 100% committed to phenomenal customer service. I will be referring friends here for sure!

The staff (from the front desk, to the hygienists, to the dentists themselves) are by far the most professional, courteous, and generally sweet dental professionals I have ever experienced. I have seen Dr. Gallipeau and, during my most recent visit, met and saw Dr. Espinoza. Both are absolutely incredible dentists. It is clear that they go above and beyond to make the patient feel like family here. Not only that, but they also make your physical comfort their top priority. Example: the sweet hygienist I saw most recently created a Pandora station of my choice just for my comfort during my routine cleaning! What? That’s so nice! I don’t generally have any dentist anxiety, but I can tell that if I did, I would be as comfortable as possible here. It’s a breath of fresh air :)
I highly recommend them if you are looking for a new dentist in the area!

Dr. Espinoza at Bankers Hill Dental repaired a couple of chipped teeth and I am really impressed with the facility, staff, and attention to detail. This office really does their best to make you feel comfortable.
