History
Established in 2013.
Over 40 Years of Caring
With Kinship Project, you experience a caring and nurturing relationship with a San Diego provider locally owned and operated by Kirk Hinkleman and Beth Gallagher, who together, have over 40 years of experiences building customized support teams for people needing various types of in-home care living in their own homes.
Co-authors of the book, «Intentional Teaming: Shifting Organizational Culture», they make certain everyone involved in the Circle of Support is equally valued, heard and respected. That is what motivates our personalized services.
Kinship Project now stands along our 10 year old company, Life Works (started in January 2004), which provides customized In-Home Care for individuals with disabilities. The partnership is wonderful and affords people a broad reach of resources and experience.
Meet the Business Owner
Kirk H and Beth G.
Business Owner
Kirk Hinkleman and Beth Gallagher are the co-founders and co-owners of Kinship Project. Kirk and Beth became partners in 2007, when Kirk became a part of Life Works (in business since 2004), a well-respected agency supporting individuals with developmental disabilities living in their own homes. The partnership has been dynamic and rewarding every step of the way. In February 2013, Kirk and Beth decided to open Kinship Project. With mirroring visions and mission statements, Kinship Project runs along side Life Works, making it possible for seniors needing customized support teams to maintain the life of their choosing in the comfort of their own home.
«It is our hope with Kinship Project, that we are able to embrace the idea that we all, as people, belong to each other. We see this type of work as an opportunity to honor and value people in a way that has been lost. Love drives the care we provide… we are all human, and thusly, all deserve love, dignity and respect.»
