DJ Mikey was great! Despite having a small wedding, he kept the party going and everyone dancing. He played a great variety of music and the transitions were the best I have heard. He played all of our requests, and we had a lot of compliments from a lot of our guests.

Adam=Best DJ ever! Being in my late 20’s I’ve been to about 7 wedding annually for the last several years and have seen/​heard some great ones and some crappy ones. Adam crushed it! My wife and i met up with him a few times before the wedding and he quickly learned what we wanted and executed flawlessly.
Adam kept the dance floor packed, transitioned songs seamlessly and kept the vibe going all night long. I had several people come up to me at the end of the night confirming my thoughts about Adam. He truly made my wedding come full circle and wouldn’t have changed a thing. JMC was great to deal with. Highly highly highly recommend requesting Adam!

Ok so, i am a huge music junkie, and i told my wife that music is my number ONE priority. Im a dancer and a lot of my friends are dancers and having great music is a plus. Our venue unfortunately made us choose from a vendor list for music which i was upset about, but if it wasn’t for them forcing us to choose them, i would have never found Adam.
The event company themselves are really friendly, easy to speak to, and they are quick to response to any questions we had. The king of the crop though was our DJ Adam.
Im a huge 90’s hip hop and R&B fan and my wife is an alternative rock fan, so i was doubtful at first that anyone can easily mix both music, but Adam did that and FAR exceeded my expectations. He is such a humble and down to earth guy and he kept everyone on the dance floor the entire time! Im so happy to have found this company. I highly suggest going with Adam, he can play ANYTHING, transition into anything, and most importantly, he makes the wedding planning super easy. If you’re interested in my music or my wife’s genres, i cannot express how much I refer Adam. DO IT! JUST DO IT!

We were at a wedding just last weekend, I was very disappointed with this DJ. Everything was fine until it was time to dance. At first i think people just wanted to get on the dance floor then it became apparent that they did not like the music. More than once i went up to Joe and asked him to play something to get more people on the dance floor, he told me that people were on the dance floor. There were 198 people at the reception and less than 30 were on the floor.
I could go on about the music selection but i wont. As the night went on he became ruder and ruder. Multiple people asked him to play something to get everyone dancing.
If i was paying that bill, i would want my money back!
Just beware do your homework because this company has 5 stars and i think its 3 to many!

We had Joe as our DJ for our wedding and he was great. He was super helpful during every step of the process and worked to meet our schedule which was very nice. On the day of our wedding, I was very surprised but he was able to get everyone up on the dance floor and having fun. He was able to help us get through the day making announcements and keep the party going. We couldn’t have done it without him.

Joe and Mandilee Rock. We got married 6−6−15. From the very beginning, while trying to find our dj Mandilee was quick to answer my questions. My husband and I met with Joe and from that first time talking to him we knew we wanted him to be our DJ. He is very warm and easy going and wanted to get to know us better.
They have great pre wedding questionnaires and timelines that helped my coordinator husband and I know where we had to be. Joe met with us several times and was very responsive with my questions over email.
For our father daughter dance I wanted a tango song and butterfly kisses mixed and asked Joe if it would be possible. And this was after our final meeting. Joe was amazing and had a couple of options for me in a day!
My family and I love to dance and so our dj was the most important thing at the reception! Joe was phenomenal! He incorporated our songs and skillfully added a few songs to go with them. The dance floor was always packed and the songs were amazing!
We without a doubt would recommend jmc to anyone with a special event. They went above and beyond for us and for that we are truly grateful!

We used JMC Events for our wedding as they were referred to us by family. We were so glad we chose to use them. We had Adam, DJ Mada, for our reception.
We got to meet with Adam before the wedding to discuss the type of music we wanted as well as all of the standard dances and songs. We also used the uplighting from JMC. Originally we wanted purple uplights, but when Adam got to the venue, he tried the purple and both him, my coordinator and myself agreed it did not go well. He had all of the different colors ready to try, which I thought was awesome and so organized. We chose gold which looked awesome in the pictures.
Adam kept the party going all night. He even incorporated a special dance that was unusual for a wedding. My cousin lost a bet with the family so he had to do a solo dance to the Backstreet Boys, «I Want It That Way.» Adam called him out the dance floor and it was perfect. We only wish the venue didn’t have restrictions for how long we could keep the party going. Everyone was out on the dance floor.

JMC events was the fourth DJ company we interviewed and we knew during our first skype interview that Joe was our guy! Joe and Mandilee were super helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. They run a well-​organized company and really tries to get to know your personality and music style prior to the big day. We had to plan our wedding from out of town and only spoke to Joe via Skype…(and sometimes what you see/​speak to on skype doesn’t translate well in person) Well that was definitely NOT the case! Joe was courteous, charming, flexible, and really tall in person haha. All the other DJs we interviewed were too bossy in their way of ‘running the show.’ Joe had just the right balance of guiding the guests through the nights events and staying flexible with the mood of the evening. I would highly recommend JMC Events!

Had Jeremy from JMC DJ my wedding and he did a great job! He is easy to work with and is great at keeping in touch! Mandilee in the office is great too! Recommend Jeremy and JMC!

JMC dj service was by far one of the best parts of our May 2015 wedding!
Adam was our DJ and we also hired Rocky for his jazz package. When we first met with Adam, my husband and him really bonded over music. They seemed to have similar music interests which made us really excited. We met with Adam and Rocky again two weeks before the wedding and once again we felt extremely comfortable with them.
The music was amazing!!! Rocky rocked the cocktail and dinner hour with his saxophone! So many guests complimented us for having him and loved that part of the cocktail hour.
Adam was so good and had us dancing the entire night. I did not leave the dance floor from the minute we «opened» it up until the last dance. Plus he was a great non intrusive MC!
Also my communication with Mandilee throughout the process was so easy and she made me feel understood.
We loved the entire experience and will recommend them for all events!

Jeremy was our wedding DJ, ran our slideshow, did our lighting, and did sound for our ceremony. He pulled off all of the major requests I had to a «T», which took a lot of stress and anxiety off of me. Plus, he was so sweet and pleasant to work with. We are really glad we hired him for our wedding, and strongly recommend him to others.

JMC DJ’d our wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden. They put a lot of time into working with us beforehand and the day went off very smoothly. Everyone enjoyed the music and had a good time.
Adam was very professional and knew his music. He did the MC stuff just as we asked, in a low-​key and efficient way. And, they were very reasonably priced and no surprises.

JMC was terrific! Adam was/​is/​would always be our DJ. Great classy guy. He recommended the saxophone package and it was one of the most popular compliments we received. Don’t miss that. It is worth it and so much more. Very chill group, with no pressure sales and handled questions and payment concerns smoothly. Most of all, Adam lived up to his promise and got people out there dancing.

Our wedding venue required us to select from their preferred DJ list and with the large list they had, we didn’t recognize any of the DJs/​companies listed. After weeks of reviewing DJ company websites and their sample videos of events, we eventually decided to check out JMC Events and a couple of other companies. We know plenty of DJs that we would’ve wanted for our wedding because we been to one of their events or heard good things from our friends, so we didn’t know what to expect.
First of all, special thanks to Mandilee, who was very professional and quick in getting back to us through email as we were beginning the stressful process of wedding planning. Mandilee helped us right away to schedule our first meeting with our prospective DJ, Joe C and also throughout the whole process. It was our first interview and ended up being our last interview as the wife and I both decided that Joe C. was the man for the job. With this being our first time and being that it would be for one of the most important days of our lives, Joe was very helpful in our wedding planning process as he shared lots of information and advice in looking for the right DJ. Once we let JMC Events know that we wanted Joe to do our wedding, right away they helped us with what we needed to do on our end to help them prepare for our wedding.
I definitely appreciate the Questionnaire they provided us as this helped us out tremendously as we didn’t know where to begin in preparing the type, scheduling etc. of music for the wedding. Honestly, we were overwhelmed with the other planning that we were not able to fully concentrate on providing the type of music we wanted for our wedding, so when it came time to meet with Joe again to finalize our program, music etc. Joe provided very helpful suggestions, which mitigated the anxiety we were going through prior to the wedding.
The day of the wedding, Joe did a really awesome job! Seriously, I am not exaggerating, but we did not have to tell him what to do, he already knew how we wanted things to play out the whole night based on our final meeting. I was nervous the day of the wedding because our final meeting was two weeks prior and we made some very specific instructions with custom music and Joe took care of it. We heard lots of comments from our guests about how good our DJ was and I have to say the wife and I were both happy that Joe did an awesome job. I can’t praise him enough because we been to a number of weddings and we know how difficult it is to keep people on the dance floor. Not only that, he had the perfect playlist for our crowd. Like seriously, when it was dance time, the dance floor was never empty and always packed. Another thing to mention was his role as MC. He was spot on of what an MC was supposed to do. It also felt as if Joe knew all of us personally because he didn’t have a hard time pronouncing people’s names!
I highly recommend JMC Events and Joe C. and if I ever have to throw another big event, I would definitely hire them again.

As a wedding planner, it’s important for me to find reliable DJs at affordable prices for my clients. As a client, it is important for me to have a good DJ. I have worked with JMC for several years on a professional level (having them DJ events for clients) but this year also had the pleasure of working with them for two of my events — my wedding and my best friend’s wedding. As always, they were awesome. Jeremy DJ’d my best friend’s wedding and did a great job! If you are looking for a great DJ, these guys are who you should look at for sure!

BEST DJ EVER! We got DJ Adam, he emcee’s and can spin too. I found them through the bridal bazaar and won a $ 500 gift certificate. We met up with Adam before the wedding and talked about the type of music we wanted and DID NOT want to hear during our wedding. He’s a really big 90’s fan, so if you’re into that music, he was PERFECT. Adam spins at a little bar in Del Mar on the side, we used to visit him to listen to his music and get free drinks. He didn’t have awkward pauses or rough transitions between songs (believe me, people notice that stuff), and kept the music running all night long! They also provided our uplighting, which wasn’t very expensive.
I didn’t have any problems working with this vendor and I recommend them to all my newly engaged friends!

Joe performed amazingly at our Oct 11^th, 2014 wedding at the Bristol Hotel, Downtown San Diego. He definitely met and exceeded our expectations. He also DJ’ed for Erica’s three sisters weddings as well. Highly recommend, Joe’s initial impression will make you feel comfortable and he’s certainly one of the best in the business at his craft, including all aspects of pre-​wedding planning checklists. He had the dance floor moving this night!

Jeremy DJ’d for my wedding up in Temecula and I could not have been any happier with how everything worked out.
4 months after our wedding I’m finally getting around to this review (mostly because I didn’t think to write a review on Unilocal,partially because I was sort of lazy). Ok!
From the initial meeting I knew he was going to be the perfect DJ for us. Jeremy definitely had a great attitude towards his clients and a lot of respect for the ceremony. It also helped we had fairly similar taste in music. He made both my wife and I extremely comfortable about everything that needed to get done.
I went a little overboard with the music selection but Jeremy took the music list and turned it into a series of the best mixes I’ve ever heard before.

Adam was our DJ for our wedding and our wish was to be able to get everyone on the dance floor! Adam was PHENOMENAL!!! He got everyone to the dance floor even those who generally don’t usually dance! the music choices were exactly what we were looking for and we were so happy with everything! Adam was so great to work with leading up to the wedding and we could not have asked for a a better DJ!!!

Joe did a fabulous job and went above and beyond for our San Diego destination wedding! We live 400 miles away and heavily relied and his talent and expertise and he was able to orchestrate the music for the reception that was fantastic.
