Jack In The Box

I haven’t ate here in over a year and a seen a resident with jack so I gave it a try, once again. I order a breakfast jack and the egg was rotten. Green inside. Gross!!! Thanks for reminding me why GMO is bad for you.

They seriously need to bring corporate down here to this location. How are you going to be open to possibly 24 hours you go through the drive-​thru and now the drive-​thru is rebooting the cashier registers rebooting all of them at the same time?

I’ve been here twice.
The establishment is clean and the food is fine. No incorrect orders, soggy fries, or anything like that. There is also free WiFi.

Wish I could give zero stars.
Jack would shut this place down if he knew how they were bastardizing his dream!

The food here is seemingly fresher prepared, and handled with care. Pedro took care of us in an unforgettable way. This location is located next to the I-​15, conveniently of the freeway.

Jack in the Box is probably one of the best fast food restaurants. This location is one of the best. I have never had an order made incorrectly or had an item forgotten. The service can be slow but that’s because they do not make your food until you order it.
One of my favorite items is their tacos. You can’t beat the price either and the price hasn’t changed for as long as I can remember. They keep adding new items to the menu and have featured sandwiches that last for a couple months. Some are awesome and others not so much. They have the munchie meals after 9pm which are good but definitely aimed toward a certain crowd.
The one thing I do not like about this location is that after dark people will come up to your car while you are in the drive thru and ask for money. It doesn’t make you feel safe when you say no and they start calling you names or won’t leave. The employees do not seem to care about this, probably because it happens all the time.
Overall this is a decent Jack in the Box.

I adore Jack in the Box. I have since I was a child so I always have to visit when I am in San Diego. This location is closest to my sisters so this is the location I visit the most.
The menu is always evolving however the favorites always remain like the tacos, jumbo Jack and a few other staples.
I have only been through the drive thru at this location and they have always been quick and efficient. I have always received the correct order.
This location isn’t the best, especially at night. There have been numerous times when people have walked into the drive thru to ask for money.
I will continue to visit this restaurant when I am in town but prefer to do so during the day.

After ate their new portobello mushroom burger I suffered from stomach burn, then went to ER and after tests it looks I had some kind of virus in my liver because of it. They need to close this site or inspect it to the details.. Will never go back

First off my card wouldn’t read, so when the manager told me that I asked if he could type it in manually he said no, so I hand him a different cars, and guess what he starts doing? That’d right, typing it in, he took so long I just went to the ATM.

This dining room is open until midnight. I got a munchie meal once and it was terrible. I rarely get angry when I eat but this was an exception. You would have to have some SERIOUS munchies to force this «food» into your mouth. One thing I can’t effn stand is COLD FRIES! It’s 11:00 p.m., you’re not super busy, and even if you were there’s just no excuse for cold fries. The Hellapeno burger was gross. It’s the meat, reminds me why I never eat burgers from here. Tastes like it was microwaved, which I think is what they actually do. Now, the salted caramel shake was
. They hooked it up with the caramel. mainly because i tried to substitute it for the drink in my meal but for some reason I couldn’t just pay the difference and had to buy it outright lol. Anyways, I pretty much only come here for monster nacho tacos (which for some reason I love) and the salted caramel shakes.
As for the staff… I get it, it’s late. But come on, don’t give me the fries that have been sitting there 20 minutes cause you don’t want to drop a fresh batch. I’ll just blame it on the generation (young people) for just not caring.

Alright so firstly let me clarify that this review is ONLY for this Jack in the Box, not any other locations, just this one. In addition let me clarify that this is a review from when I went here a few years ago (about 2010 – 2011 I believe). I meant to write this a while ago, but I didn’t have a Unilocal account and felt this review was necessary as it bothered me so much I actually have not gone to this jack in the box since and avoided jack in the box for a good year afterward in any location. Anyways.
So when I was in highschool I used to go to this Jack in the Box quite often and had continued through college. Now normally I get the tacos and sometimes the cheesy fries, bacon cheese burger. This time I got the tacos. The tacos were a little spicier than usual so I asked one of the employees there for a cup for water (you know those clear cups they keep so people can get water?), I was looking right at them when I asked and the employee was about to give it to me until an employee named Erika/​Ericka (can’t remember) I believe stopped him and then told me that they do not give out cups for water… May I repeat I’m staring at them as she says this.
I asked her if she was serious… She was. I informed her that I am quite sure that is not the case and that I do believe it is even against the law possibly to refuse someone a cup for water… She still refused to give me the clear cup for water. I then asked for the manager and she informed me she was the manager and so I asked for her name and wrote it down. Since this event I have refused to go this particular Jack in the Box and if I see that woman working in any other establishment I will not go there. This actually ruined Jack in the Box for me which used to be one of my favorite places. I couldn’t believe they would even hire someone like that.

This place sucks. The crew is slow and rude. The manager does not care about the store. The old crew was on point. They uesd to have this great drive thru guy but I heard he quit after the new crew took over. If you have a half hour to wait for your food you can eat here but they will just mess the order up anyways. If you want good fast jack the one in north park is way better. The old manager has moved here with most of the staff.

Got the sour dough philly cheese and it was average. Portions were on the small side and the fries were old and cold. Customer service was good

I’m very impress. This Jack is one of the best I’ve been to. The customer service is Great! Is always clean and you never get wrong orders.
Is always clean. Wish all jacks where just like that one.

great customer service. and love how they don’t charge for extra ranch like other jack in the box locations. Here it’s out in the open for you to get as needed.

its a little bit small but a lot people in there just i like one thing i like the tacos it’s really, delicious. another thing it’s they have a super small parking.

I had had breakfast jack here several times. I have no complains about the service or food. The staff is nice and friendly and would go out of way to help customers.

This is a Jack in the Box restaurant is pretty new and provides good service. They have a kiosk that you can place orders on and of course you can walk up to the registers and place your order or use the drive thru. It’s modern and clean. They have self serve sauces that you can pump yourself. BBQ sauce, taco sauce, ranch dressing and ketchup.
They have a self serve soda bar that even includes diet Dr. Pepper. They even have a fireplace that they run during the colder weather months. How hot is that?
Of course I love the tacos and the sourdough burger. Delicious!

For as long as this place has been built I never actually walked into it, but it looks nice from the outside. Last night my friend and I was in a rush to do things and I was too lazy to make her food so we head over to the drive-​thru. We both ordered some tacos and fries.
The workers here are pretty nice, nicer than the ones you usually get. But anyways lets get to their tacos. Everytime I order tacos from any Jack in the Box, they come out all skimpy and pretty much ugly. But nope not this Jack. They packed the meat in their heavily with alot of taco sauce and lettuce and cheese, it was awesome. It melted in my mouth. Yummm. Their fries also were nice and crispy not soggy like other places.
I could never fail with this Jack in the Box.

This Jack’s is really new, recently built and pretty different than your run of the mill JB. The interior is modern, clean, well stocked and well laid out. They have four different sauces in pumps at a counter across from the drink counter that include Ranch, Ketchup, BBQ and Taco Sauce. It’s a nice touch.
Near the ordering counter, they have an automated check out machine that will give you two free tacos if you agree to try it out.
Our family has come here a couple of times now but today I had an unusual experience (for a fast food joint) that I had to share. The service really stood out. Everyone working there seemed to be really hustling. Not only that but the gentleman that waited on us was incredibly helpful when my son asked a question about a sandwich. I was so struck that I watched him as we waited for the food. As I watched him help customers (often going above and beyond) I realized… this guy liked and appreciated his job. It was beautiful.
We actually don’t eat a lot of fast food these days but when/​if we want Jack’s, this location will be our first choice.
