History

Established in 2000.

After 15 years in I.T. while performing improv comedy at night and on weekends, Milo Shapiro took a huge leap of faith to create TEAMprovising, the first of IMPROVentures’ offerings. He drew from the many games he knew, blending them with the knowledge he had drawn as a businessman and project manager, creating a San Diego team building event that has been hired nationwide.

People kept telling Milo he needed to speak to larger groups than the 10 – 30 he had been. His deeply involvement with the National Speakers Association since 2002 led to him entertaining and stimulating audiences with the hugely interactive motivational speech «We Gotta Fail… To Succeed!», as hired by Qualcomm, Minolta, Wellpoint/​BlueCross, and more.

As attendees approached Milo for help with their speaking, he launched his third division «Public Dynamics» in 2004, where he has helped hundreds to become prepared, polished, & powerful when they speak. Author of «Public Speaking: Get A’s, Not Zzzzzz’s!»

Milo Shapiro is the San Diego based president of IMPROVentures. He blends his improv, business, and speaking knowledge to create exciting events for organizations and helps people quickly jumps levels in their ability to speak.

He is very fond of chocolate.
