Worst service I have ever experienced in my life, truly horrible I wouldn’t wish a stay at this place on my worst enemy.

Needed a place to stay last night. called ahead. «Yes sir, we have rooms available.» We get the, dude was a total douche. Wouldn’t give us a room because he said we were visibly intoxicated. How am I too intoxicated to sleep in a shitty motel?

Let me start off by saying that my friend and I were simply looking for somewhere nice, affordable, safe, clean, and closely located to gas lamp and old town. As far as I’m concerned this hotel met all our criteria with flying colors. It’s clean, quiet, and directly across from a small town center, NOT a strip club or any sex stores. The area is not ghetto, trust me I know what ghetto is living close to east la. For the price we paid I felt like we got a great deal. We had all the amenities we needed and the staff was friendly. Parking was fine, location was great, staff was nice, room was clean, and they offer a continental breakfast. We even got a late checkout which was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

This hotel is very nice very clean. The inside of the room is roomy and clean all the amenities you need are available. Comes with a refrigerator and microwave. It was a great value for the area and everything is within distance as far as food and drinks. Definitely will stay here again

We stayed here for the weekend so we can take our kids to Sea World. We headed out from LA after work on a Friday night so we didn’t get to there until about midnight. Happy to see that there was a late check in window. We checked in, found our room and went to sleep right away so we can wake up early for Sea World. We woke up and there were bugs everywhere on both beds. We had 2 queen beds, one bed was shared by our 5-​year old twins and the other bed, my wife and I shared with our 4-​month old baby. Took a couple of the bugs to the front desk to show them and she said she didn’t know what the bugs were but she gave me keys to another room to check out. I checked the room and didn’t see the bugs so we moved. After checking my phone, we realized it was bed bugs. We didn’t see any bites on us right away but now, a week later, both our 5-​year olds have bites all over. I read that it can take up to 14 days for bites to show up. I complained to the staff and all they said was that they have Terminix come monthly. They said they had closed that room after we checked out and have scheduled Terminix to come in to find out exactly what the bugs are. I told them that I was certain it was bed bugs but they have not gotten back to me since. I’m sure bed bugs are pretty common in hotels but I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and this is the first time I’ve ever seen them. Stay away from this place or if you do decide to stay here, please check the room for bed bugs.

We stayed here for MCRD graduation. It was a perfect location! It’s an older hotel, but the rooms were clean and have been renovated. It was a great value for us and provided us a close location to our Marine. Breakfast was very typical free breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again!

Great value for your dollars. David is very helpful. Clean rooms, convenient location and free parking. Nice complimentary continental breakfast to get the day started. My room was renovated. I will stay again too!

Talk about regrets, and concern for family safety. The place and surrounding area is a dump. D.U.M.P. Way overpriced, across the street from a strip bar, gun shots sounds, room had toiletries and trash from last occupant still laying around, indoor/​outdoor carpeting, no place to park (overflow from strip club hooker bar), homeless people gathering around everywhere, non-​family oriented (even the breakfast staff told my 3 year old kid «she had no patience for their kind»). But hey! It is a 10 minute drive to Seaworld. So, on the other hand, if you are looking to score some drugs, acquire an STD, pay for a homeless friend, waste money, and make it to SeaWorld bright and early the next day? … Then this is the place for you.

Okay so this place wasn’t the best but it’s not the worst either. Free Wi-​Fi, free continental breakfast (they should have more than one waffle maker) room has a mini fridge, microwave, flat screen TV and good cable channels. Room was clean, bring your own towels the ones they had felt like sand paper and the blanket on the bed looked liked it came out of a garbage can.
The pool is a mini pool so if u have a large group look for a hotel with a bigger pool. Other than that I was happy with the location. 5 minutes from old town and 10 minutes from sea world. For a weekend getaway this was good enough. Oh and don’t order food from any of the room advertisings pizza from Broadway Pizza suck! Waste of money!

Comfy luxurious rooms, great price, and amazing cOntinental breakfast.

Horrible experience as soon as we walked in. Had our king room ready but it was for wheelchair accessible and gave us a two queen beds instead. When we arrived at our room the key didn’t work. This is ridiculous.

Pros. Clean room. Very nice staff. Decent continental breakfast. Across the street from a shopping area. Decent price for San Diego. ($ 80) Not far from most tourist choices. Cons. Little noisy, might want to ask for room in the back. Area, not the best, but not scary to me.

Stayed 3 nights… You definitely pay for what you get.
The door to the room stuck, so half the time our door was still open and we had to slam it shut… When we opened it we had to put our whole body into it. There was a ridiculous amount of flies in our room. The door to the bathroom blocked the shower, so it was a bit difficult to maneuver. The cover to our light in the closet was missing. The a/​c and fan were hard to work. Either it was hot or freezing in the room. There was a cockroach on the danish cupboard at the continental breakfast. The fruit was definitely old and the juice was fake juice.
Only reason we gave it two stars is because it was nice and close to Sea World and the beaches… Unfortunately, it was also close to a bunch of strip clubs and adult stores. The bed was comfy and it came with a fridge and microwave.
There was also a man out on the balcony smoking a joint and talking loudly on his phone. We had horrible service at the front desk.
If you are looking for a hotel close to Sea World, the beach, the airport, or the Marine base… this may be it. As long as you aren’t planning to spend a lot of time in your room. For under $ 100 a night, it was (i guess) the best you can get.

We stayed her 2 night. It was clean, there’s a microwave and a little refrigerator. the pillows are a little lumpy and the towels are really ruff and it was hard to find parting at night. But even with all that the room had a comfy feel.

I am beyond disappointed with this place I had gotten it just because it was close to the casino center and I didn’t want to drive I get here to find out they had maintaince problems so they send me to Chula Vista that is none sense it’s a 20 min drive up this is ridiculous and all they said was sorry really that’s it sorry like is sorry going to pay my gas to Chula Vista the or the taxi ride to the casino center never again will I make reservations here !!! So I’m adding on to my complaint I kept calling and for some reason no one would pick up the min I called blocked the answered on the first ring like really

Wifi does not work, called front desk but nothing was done. Surrounding area was a little shady looking. For the price of booking, we were expecting something a little more. Parking is limited and within the 5 mins of check in, we got 5 restaurant flyers under our room door. Lesson learned… Pictures are misleading.

I’m really not one to complain but you really get what you paid for with this hotel. I found a blonde hair in the brand new towels the maids provided us on our second day and the pillows were really lumpy and bad. Parking kind of sucked on some nights. The pizza flyers they slid into the doors were kinda annoying but we didn’t really mind them. What was really annoying was that we asked for a non-​smoking room because we had a three-​year-​old with us and there were a bunch of elderly men in the rooms next to us and below us who would constantly be smoking right by our door. That really sucked when we would pass by with the toddler. The complementary breakfast kinda sucked too.
The place is a pretty convenient location for everything, though, which is great. The shuttle service to the airport was efficient and the man who drove me was very nice.

I stayed here for my recent trip to San Diego. Instead of booking directly I went through
. The rate was typically $ 99, but I had a free night, so ended up paying $ 99 for 2 nights. The location was convenient — right near the airport, near SeaWorld, and near some of the neighborhoods I visited. Check-​in was smooth and the staff was friendly. The room was descent size, had a King sized bed, and a small sofa. Free breakfast in the morning was mainly Continental, but also included waffles. No parking charge and free wireless internet also were included. I spoke to a fellow guest who said she has been staying at this hotel each of her 4 times running the Rock n Roll marathon and she is always treated well. The rooms were clean and serviced every morning. I would stay here again.
