Hot Doggity Grooming

Both of my babies, Chad and Yuki, love going to Elieen. She is a wonderful groomer that truly cares about her customers. She is a wealth of knowledge about grooming and pet health. Most importantly my pups looked great after each visit! They love it here and it’s reasonable!

My Lhasa-​poo has had several appointments with Eileen and I am so relieved to have found such a great groomer at a VERY reasonable price. Eileen is fast and efficient which I appreciate because I hate when the groomer keeps my pup all day long! Gracie always looks fantastic and is happy to not be caged up while she’s there! Love our new groomer!

Last year I adopted a yorkie poo from another family and initially brought him to another groomer for his first haircut. Unfortunately, this other groomer wasn’t able to finish his haircut because my pup was «too wild» and she didn’t think it was safe. I contacted Eileen on a Sunday (when she is usually closed) and she went out of her way to meet us at her shop. Not only did she fix his haircut, but he looked adorable! She cut his nails no problem (we tried this at another groomer as well to no avail) and even removed the fur from his poodle ears without a flinch from him. Our dog is very sweet, but a little squirrely at times. I think she was so effective because she really showed him who was boss (in a sweet way) and he responded to that. She is flexible with appointments, and I can usually work out a time a few days prior via text. I wholehearted recommend Eileen and Hot Doggity Grooming!

Came here because the place I normally take my pal to is always booked and I didn’t really like the way they trimmed her because it made her hair look thin and not so cute.
Found this place on Unilocal and gave it a shot and glad I took Kiwi here! It’s small and cozy and Eileen lets the pups and dogs roam around while she grooms. It’s really nice to know when I leave kiwi she won’t ever be bored and she’ll meet new pals!
Eileen also knows a lot about dogs and she helped suggest good food for kiwi since she has dry hair.
The last time I took kiwi here I really liked her trim! She even added a bow to here and since it was in October, Eileen added a Halloween theme bow (: super cute!

I absolutely LOVED the way my poodle mix came out of Hot Doggity Grooming today! Eileen did everything I asked and was incredibly nice and friendly! She also worked fast and even gave me a preview as to how short she was going to cut Zoe’s coat. Not to mention the very reasonable pricing! Zooey and I will be regulars here for sure! I started goin here when they were located in downtown because I had a restaurant two blocks away, it was so convenient and they just do such an excellent job! Well, unfortunately the restaurant was sold and I lived to far so I tried other places and every single one of them SUCKED! Kyle and Eileen are so amazing and make Mia look perfect! I love that their kennel free! I will be coming back here from now on. it’s worth the 20 minute drive! Oh and did I mention they even let you leave your pup with them until closing if needed?! I mean, amazing!

Been coming here since they had their old location downtown. Although I miss their old location I still keep coming back. I tried a place in Hillcrest twice which was near my work and they did such a horrible job and kept her in a kennel. Eileen lets the dogs roam in the area and she always does a great job! I just my dog groomed for my sister’s wedding and she didn’t cut her too short and put the cutest bow in her hair.
It seems like her location is a little out of the way to get to, but its actually really close and there’s parking in front which is super convenient. If you want to wait there until your dog is done, there’s Café Moto down the street with free wifi!

Beyond satisfied! I can’t even begin to describe how talented Eileen is. She’s a very highly qualified dog groomer.
Just a few of many things I love about this place…
1) Your pup will never be locked up in a cage at all. Your pup will be able to roam free and hang out in a little play area.
2) I LOVE the fact that I can drop off Max and he’ll be ready for pick up in an hour and a half. The place I went to in the past would take HOURS with Max and they locked him up in a cage. :(
3) It is very affordable and Eileen uses the best dog products out there and also will give great recommendations.
4) I’ve NEVER been dissatisfied with Max’s appearance. True story… before I went to Eileen I had an awful experience and I was in tears because I paid more than what I pay at Hot Doggity Grooming… and Max looked awful. Eileen knows exactly what she’s doing and I’m never worried when I go and pick him up… he looks great every time.
5) I am moving back to Austin, TX and I told Eileen. She went above and beyond by writing out exactly what she does and what she uses to make Max look so handsome. She wrote it on her business card and told me that if Max’s future groomers had any questions to call her cell and she will be more than happy to talk to them. :).
Eileen…you are so talented and so wonderful. THANK YOU so much for every thing. Max and I will always be grateful to have had you in our lives! :) We wish you could just move to Austin… because we won’t find anyone like you. You’re irreplaceable.

I love my dog more than life and wouldn’t trust him with just anyone, but I trust this groomer completely. I always know Tucker will look absolutely perfect post cut.

Eileen did an outstanding job of grooming Pip, the dog I rescued recently. He went from looking homeless to looking great! Eileen also gave me some good training tips.
It was immediately clear to me how much she cares about her dogs and those belonging to her clients. I’ll most certainly be a repeat customer.

Eileen is patient and caring for dogs, especially those with abuse issues. My dog is very scared yet Eileen was kind and treated my dog with upmost care.

Very pleased with exceptional service and grooming for my pooch! Eileen did a fabulous job and was very helpful in discussing my dogs sensitive skin issues. I love the dogs are not caged and get to run around and play with her dogs and the others waiting for pick up or appointments. Awesome experience and highly recommended! Plus my dog even made Instagram, I love she cares enough to post her work and peoples loved furry creatures looking great!

I was treated very kindly here and my dog looks great. The owner even gave him a cute little bandana too and it only took about an hour. I am so thankful that I have found this place. I think I will be coming here from now on for Kobe’s future hair cuts.

We have been going to Eileen for about 2 years (previous location).
We absolutely love what a great job she does. Every time we drop off Dexter (a bichpoo who hates bath time) we are confident that he will be well taken care of and come back looking great. Eileen is always accommodating to fit Dexter in her busy schedule. Hands down great groomer, very knowledgeable, and great person.

I first called Eileen when I picked up my dog at the shelter after she had been spayed. I told Eileen that she hadn’t been bathed and, because of her surgery, I wasn’t able to bathe her for 2 weeks. Eileen had already closed her shop, but came back to cut my dog’s hair so I could take her home with her dirty and unkept hair gone. Eileen went above and beyond that evening and I was extremely grateful.
Eileen is very candid and will tell you like it is; a breath of fresh air, in my opinion. She is a great groomer and you can count on her to be honest, trustworthy, and professional.

I spent about a year looking for a groomer in San Diego for my Maltipoo, Shelby. I had a really hard time, and a lot of bad luck. Finally, a friend of mine recommended that I make an appointment with Eileen at Hot Doggity Grooming. And I haven’t gone anywhere else since! Eileen does a great job with Shelby, and I would highly recommend her to everyone!

My pup Charlie is very comfortable at Hot Doggity Grooming. He loves Elieen and her two dogs. Eileen is always accommodating with scheduling. The service is quick and always professional. Charlie looks like he is ready for the dog show every time he walks out of there. Since we moved to downtown San Diego this is the only groomer we have frequented and we love the service. Wouldn’t take my little furry guy anywhere else.

I’ve been taking my dogs to Eileen of Hot Doggity Grooming (previously Hot Dogity Do’s) for about a year and a half now. When we first met, we just had 1 dog — now we’re up to 3! She has always done a fabulous job on all of them. One of them is pretty anxious, and in the past, other groomers have blamed crooked hair cuts on his unwillingness to sit still. Somehow Eileen always manages him and he looks perfect every time.
When we moved from downtown, we tried going to Petco since it was a little closer. It was the same price as Hot Doggity Grooming, but only half as good.
More than a talented groomer, Eileen has given us advice on dog food, treats, medicine, and more to make sure our dogs are as healthy as possible.
