I signed up for a 1yr contract for two lines. THE rep told me it was a 1 yr contract. I go to cancel my second line today and they say I signed up for a two year contract! SCUM

I came in here during a Cinco De Maya special they were having… and perhaps I was enthralled by the giant Stewie who was hypnotizing me into falling for the«nothing to lose» $ 100 off deal they were having… My friend and I both signed up for phones and everyone was extremely nice and friendly. The whole staff was very friendly… even when we drove all the way back down to return the phones before our 30 day guarantee was up… Well… If everyone was so wonderful then why the 1 star… First off, I had to cancel the phone by calling the company from the store… Lots of holding time… okay okay… Once I got through to someone, I discovered that somehow they got 2 lines in my name… okay well I wanted to cancel them all… and the service guy was trying to only cancel the one phone I had… I told him… I don’t have another phone so whatever is there… cancel them all… The guy was really annoyed at all this but in the end all was cancelled… Until I got a bill a month later for $ 206.54… O…K… So I call customer service and a really nice guy asks me when I returned the phone. After I told him we returned them within 2 weeks he told me the system needs time to update and just ignore the bill… So… I ignore it… Month later… I get a bill for $ 36… Great… I’m gonna keep shredding these suckers… Keep killing the trees and billing me for nonexistent service… The service reps at the store are really nice but Helio needs to get their shit straight somewhere…
