I would have loved to have visited this place, but I was so put off by the person who answered the phone. Rather than stating that this was AC water, he answered HELLO and seemed so annoyed that someone was calling at 10:35 despite being open for a few hours. When I asked if they carried alkaline water, he said NO and quickly hung up without saying anything else. I fully support small businesses, but this snap shot of this business was less than stellar.

I love this place. We go here very often and it’s usually my husband who goes because we fill up the 5 gallon bottles. When he goes they let him use a cart to bring the water out. One day I had to go get the water with 2 of my 3 kids and I was hesitant. These days people aren’t so helpful. When I walked in the guy working there just took over. He rinsed my jugs and filled them for me. While he they were filling up he rang up my order and told me he’d bring my water out when it was done and he did :). Very nice people run this place. 5 stars and two thumbs up. Good prices

Our friend recommended AC Water Store to us and we our so thankful for them. The reverse osmosis makes the water really healthy and clean-​tasting. The owner is very nice and helps you clean and fill up the bottles. If you don’t have any bottles, he sells them there as well. He has carts so that you can bring your bottles back to the car. When we were first looking at water dispensers, he also recommended some to us so that we knew what to look for. I only have positive things to say about this place, you will not be disappointed at all. Just remember to bring cash!

This is my go to place for water. Discovered this water store when I lived in Rancho Penasquitos and even though I now live near RB high school, I still drive here every week to fill up our bottles. There are times that the bf tried to sneak in one of those machines outside of grocery stores and I can taste the difference. The water from here is clean and pure with no aftertaste. Even more, the people working here will take the bottles out to the car for you. Great service and great tasting water. Awesome.

Water is amazing. I only drink water and it dosent get ny beter than this! Another big plus is the service is GREAT! I like to suport the local guy whenever possible and this is the spot for water.

A great place to get incredibly tasting drinking water (nearly 100% distilled) at just .50 cents per gallon. When you bring your bottles in, the owner will rinse the bottles for you, fill them, and usually load them into your car. Amazing service!

Since I grew up in Chula V it seems weird to go to a water store that doesn’t have raspados and tostilocos. But his place has water at 50 cents a gallon, and I’m tired of having charcoal at the bottom of my Brita™ pitcher. So there we go.
A ceramic crock is between $ 30 and $ 40, and a stand runs about $ 45. Being the cheap person I am, I opted to just buy a 5 gallon bottle with a spigot for about $ 20 and set that on my counter. It’s a friggin’ eyesore. So what? I now have tasty water. It even has a wide mouth so I can fill it with ice and margarita mix. Who wouldn’t want 5 gallons of margaritas at their next party?
First fill-​up is free, and they will push the bottle on a little cart to your car if you ask. Place always has customers coming in and out. A good chunk of PQ can’t be wrong, right?

BEST WATER EVER! I’ve tried other water stores and this one by far is the best tasting. His prices are a tad more than others, but then I asked the owner why. And he stated his purification setup is larger and the other shops use smaller units. Sure enough, I went in to the other water stores and they had way smaller purification setups. I am real particular and sensitive when it comes to the taste of water considering that is all I drink through out the day… so for me I can easily taste the difference. I drive 10−15mins out of my way to get water here after work (I work in Sorrento and live in Chula Vista).
The owner is always pleasant and easy going. And his son as well is very courteous and polite. Great tasting water sold by good people.

This place is great. We got a water dispenser setup from here and have gone back for water refills. The owner and his staff are friendly and helpful, they rinse our containers out, help us to the car, and the water tastes amazing.

I used to work right down the street from here. This man’s water might be 5c a gallon more than the grocery store but he rinses out your bottles, fills em up, and puts em on a cart for you to take to your vehicle. Ladies, I’ve seen him carry bottles out for you so don’t hesitate to ask.
If I still went to the Rancho PQ area at all, I’d still be getting my water from the Asian water man. Support your local water store!

I have never received better service at a water store in my life! The owner (well, I think he is the owner. A older Asian man) is great! You walk into the store and he’s already ready to meet you. He takes your bottles of water. Cleans them. Fills them. Rings you up. Loads the filled bottles onto a cart. Pushes the cart out to your car. Loads them into your car. Smiles & says thank you.

I’ve been getting water here for over 2 years now. Price is cheap and the water tastes good. I have also purchased most of my containers here too. Owner and his son both do a good job.
Good hours: open 7 days: Mon-​Sat to 7:30pm, Sunday til 6:30p

We’ve been getting our water here for years. The owner is the nicest man. He fills my bottles and he takes them to my car for me. Great service with a smile. AND best of all the water tastes great!!!

I work next door to the Rancho Penasquitos Water Store and Peter is a friendly man who I always see helping his customers clean and carry out their water bottles. The water is processed through this massive filter he has in the store. (I’m not sure exactly what the process is.) Prices are reasonable. We use him for our office and home water needs.

We used to go to The Water Lady in Hillcrest, which later moved to North Park, but we moved to RB in ’05, so we were lucky to find this water store. We liked The Water Lady, who was extremely friendly and outgoing, and the prices were reasonable for really good tasting water.
I was surprised that I could have an even better water store experience at AC Water Store, which is now our regular drinking water source for home. A quiet and very helpful Asian gentleman always serves us. I’ll call him the manager since I don’t know his name, and he is usually there by himself. He rinses the containers with a special machine, then fills them with water from the dispensing station. I believe the prices are the same as The Water Lady’s, and they both offer the pre-​paid account option, which is what we continue to use. Our account is updated by hand in a 3-​ring binder. Convenient hours, at least for us.
On a few occasions, my toddler has fallen asleep on the way there. As I normally park near the front of the store, the observant manager must have noticed that I was trying to carry my daughter out of the car. He has approached my car with a cart, picked up my empty containers, and wheeled them into the store. After rinsing and filling the containers, he has loaded the filled containers into my car’s trunk. Now that’s full service :)
