We’ve had a lot of work done on our house in the last 14 years and Hazlegrove hardwood has been notable as one of the, if not the, best contractors we’ve worked with, and we’ve had really good luck with the others. Pleasant, on time, his crew was a joy to have in the house. The job, including upstairs and down and the stairs joining them were done beautifully. The work took longer than planned and they worked Saturday to avoid having to reschedule the carpet layers set to follow them. They really seem to take pride in their product – so refreshing. Sean and his crew did an amazing job installing 1500 sq ft of engineered hardwood in my RSF home. Sean was easy to communicate with from the estimate to the clean up on final day, and the workmanship was phenomenal. I like to think that I have a keen eye for details, especially when it comes to home remodel, and Hazlegrove hardwood did it right. Quality work for a fair price, and I’ll be calling Sean for the next hardwood project.

We were interested in speaking with this company in order to get stated with a wood floor project, however they never returned any of our phone calls (3). It’s been a month. Very strange.

Sean Hazlegrove and his assistant, Manuel, removed carpet and linoleum from our groundfloor 1980’s condo and installed 900 sf of engineered hardwood and baseboard by glue down method. This involved leveling the floor and, since our wood came in differing widths and lengths, it had to be laid attractively in the entryways, etc. They did an amazing job. The miter cuts on the baseboard were also perfect. There were many delays before we got started due to scheduling issues with other phases of our remodel project. Sean accommodated us and was very patient with all the scheduling snafus that came up. The end result is just unbelievably beautiful. Sean is hardworking, skilled, professional, punctual, has a sense of aesthetics, unfailingly courteous and is just a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend him and his crew highly enough.

We had a water leak that ruin our entire wood floor, living room, dining room and downstairs bedroom, ~ 1000 feet. After interviewing four different installers, all with very good recommendations, I decided to go with Sean. He was not the lowest price but this was very fair and he gave and excellent feeling. What a great choice. Sean and his team (Ross, Bred and Manuel) did and amazing job. They found all kind of little and no so little problems when they removed the damage floor as a result of a very poor and expensive job than by the previous installer. They took care of them. It is where Sean showed to me a facet that impact me most, his honesty and integrity. He did not charge us extra for taken care for the unexpected problems found!
I cannot write enough good things of Hazlegrove. In summary, if you are looking for a knowledgable, easy going, open mind, reliable, etc. etc. hardwood installer, do not look any more. Sean is the one.

I really love our new floor. It was done pretty quick in just 1 ½ days only. Sean and his team did a pretty great job. They are so friendly, polite and professional. We have decided to get his service after sourcing out a few other contractors and find his offer very reasonable and best fit our budget. Exceptional! Sean and his crew did an excellent job from bid to finish! It was a big job: he demolished, prepped and installed new hardwood flooring in our living room, dining room, foyer, family room, bar area and office. I would highly recommend Sean at Hazlegrove Hardwood Flooring for your hardwood installation. We picked him from the Unilocal reviews. His bid was among the more competitive ones. We had 2 issues he had to deal with. One, the installation had to match hardwood from an installation that was done 30 years ago! Two, in that 30 year old installation, the wood was laid over tile, creating a height issue with the new installation in the family room that would butt up against the old install. It all came out beautifully! The height match was perfect, and he removed some of the old hardwood where it mated with the new install and replaced those pieces with the new wood to create a seamless blend with the new install. We knew there was a risk in trying to match the old install, but he was confident it would work. He was right! Anyone who wouldn’t know we did the install would think all the work was done at the same time. We are VERY pleased!

Very impressed with the quality of work and service from Sean and his team. Sean was able to quickly match and order the wood that was already in our home and complete the job on schedule, even after a couple pieces were damaged. The crew left our house clean each day and were able to work around an electrical cord in our staircase, saving us from having to hire an electrician. I was trying to plan a remodel of my condo cross-​country before moving into it. Sean from Hazlegrove Flooring came highly recommended by a friend and when I priced him out he was very competitive. He sent me the samples via FedEx, answered all my emails in a timely manner and really was reliable.

Sean was a referral to me through a friend that had recently had hardwood floors put in. Sean came over to my house and gave me an estimate that was lower than 2 others. He estimated it would take 3 days. He gave me a list of materials that I could purchase at Coles and he could pick up, or there was the option to have him do it all. I opted to pay for the materials myself for the credit card points.
Sean finished the job on estimate and completed it in 2 days, a full day under estimate. He is the type of contractor you always hope for: polite, punctual, knowledgeable, and most importantly, on-​budget.
