Founded by brothers David and Steven, Hawkins + Hawkins Architects have been honored with several design awards, including seven ‘Gold Nugget’ awards for outstanding design from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference; ‘Home of the Year’ award from San Diego Décor Magazine; a custom residence featured on the cover of the ‘San Diego Home & Garden Magazine’; accolades for both custom residences and commercial projects in Sun Coast Architects & Builders Magazine, Best of American Remodeling Magazine, The Moscow Architectural Journal, the San Diego Union Tribune and the Los Angeles Times.

Business Owner
Owners David and Steven Hawkins are registered architects with extensive experience in architecture, planning, design and construction. David and Steven are members of the American Institute of Architects. David is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is a Certified LEED Accredited Professional in Energy and Environmental Building Design and Construction from the U.S. Green Building Council — a benchmark for design, construction, and operation of high-performance green buildings.
The brother’s diverse background include the design of award-winning custom homes projects such as the Fourth Street Homes, The Lofts at Moonlight Beach, the Golden Hill Row Homes and most recently Casa Belmonte in La Jolla, to corporate facilities, destination resorts, and mixed use residential/commercial projects, including Park City Ski Resort, Lake Arrowhead Hilton and Conference Facility, North Island Credit Union Corporate Headquarters in San Diego, California.
