I am very pleased with this business. It is located in the sola salons off of Camino Del Rio. I was early to my hair appointment, and noticed this business right across from my hair stylist’s booth so I decided to see if Marwa could squeeze me in. Sure enough, she accommodated me and did a phenomenal job correcting the mistakes of my last thread job. Not only was she able to perfect my brows but she showed me a technique to subtly filling them in so they look naturally full and not so sparse. She works delicately too; usually I am a baby and tear up when I get threaded but not this time. I am happy that I found her!

I recently moved to San Diego and I was use to my threading lady back home I was hoping to find someone as good as her and after 2 horrible experiences where both ladies ruined my eyebrows I had to let them full grow out and wait to try someone else. I’m so glad I found this place not only did she make the effort effort to squeeze me in, she took her time on my eyebrows and also filled them in with her own eyebrow powder. I bought it and I love it! I’ve already recommended her to my co worker and I’ll definitely be back! I loved my eyebrows!

I was referred to Marwa by my cousin and I am so happy I went to her! I am very particular with my eyebrows and I can assure you that Marwa perfects them every time! I also see her for waxing as well and I was most impressed that she makes her own sugar wax! Every service it’s very reasonable in pricing as well. Marwa has been threading my eyebrows for a couple months now and I’m very happy to have found her. When I moved here I was very nervous about finding someone new to trust with my thick eyebrows but I explained what I wanted and she did exactly that. Her prices are reasonable and she even has her own line of makeup products for your eyes. She is super nice and takes time to make sure your eyebrows are perfect. The building is easy to find but the individual beauty suites inside the salon portion of the building are a bit tricky since its set up like a maze so give yourself a few extra minutes before your appointment to find her.

I have had the pleasure of having my eye brows threaded by Marwa for 3 years now. She is a master of her skill. Her results are consistent, which reflects to me her deep understanding of this craft. I chose to purchase her products (eye brow filler powder and angle brush) for not only a reasonable price, but also high quality. Marwa’s work place is organized, clean, and most importantly, welcoming and comfortable. Marwa herself is always friendly, professional, and warm. She takes pride in her work and is always caring of her clients. Every time I saw a client leaving from her workplace they were smiling and satisfied. I have recommended my family, friends, and customers to Marwa with the highest level of trust that she will take care of them. I have yet to be disappointed with high doubts I will ever be with Marwa’s level skills.

Marwa’s shop is centrally located and easily accessible. She’s incredibly detail oriented. I receive compliments on my brows all the time. I particularly like how symmetrical she makes my brows look. Also she makes her own sugar wax. I love how gentle it is on my sensitive skin. It doesn’t hurt that my hubby loves the results too.

I have had my eyebrows and face threaded many times in many places; from all over the Middle East to very expensive threading palaces in NYC. I’ve had mixed results, and waxing has been my standby for the last 20 years, but I’ve always hoped I’d find the perfect artist for my eyebrows… and I have found her!
Threading is not entirely painless, but I can attest that I didn’t have a single tear rise up during the entire process. My brows look natural and amazing with essentially no discomfort.

Marwa did a great job threading my eyebrows. I love that she is very careful with them and she takes her time to make sure i end up with similar shapes. I couldn’t ask for better it was perfect and exactly what i asked for !! Very happy now

Marwa is awesome. Kind, patient, attentive and professional. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded by Marwa for a few months, and I am extremely satisfied. Since my first visit, I have never had to reiterate my needs, and she knows what I like. I have been wanting to try waxing for a couple of years, but have been apprehensive because everyone says that it is painful. Marwa introduced me to sugar waxing, and it is the most pleasant (Brazilian) waxing experience I could have anticipated. No pain, no irritation, no ingrown hairs, no razor bumps and very, very low maintenance. I have already moved my sessions to monthly waxing instead of having to shave every other day. I have moved on to getting my underarms waxed. Marwa watch out, I’ll be recommending all my friends to your salon.

As far as the sugar wax treatment she uses for my Brazilian and my underarms it is fantastic! I’ve heard some awful things about other waxing done being horrifically painful and uncomfortable. This is not the experience I get with Marwa.
Her treatment is efficient and gentle leaving almost no evidence of waxing immediately!
I’d recommend her to anyone looking to amp up their beauty game any day

For years the thought of getting waxed was a nightmare! It was painful but being someone who spends a lot of time at the beach and in a bathing suit shaving just wasn’t cutting it! I started coming to Marwa to get my eyebrows threaded and was discussing my fears about waxing. She introduced me to sugaring! I’ve been getting sugared now for about a year and it is amazing! Marwa is fast and efficient! My hair grows back finer than it ever has and my skin afterwards is soft and not irritated! Sugaring with Marwa is amazing and I recommend it to everyone!

I’ve been going to Marwa for about 5 or 6 years now, and it is nothing but consistent. She is extremely professional, very sweet, courteous, as well as one of the most friendly ladies I know– she makes sure to make her customers comfortable. In all of my times I’ve went I have never left unsatisfied– this woman does not know what an off day is! I don’t trust anyone else with my eyebrows. If you are not too sure about trying out threading (or any other services provided by Great Arches) there is no one else I would recommend, she will communicate with you and not let you leave unsatisfied. Threading is much more effective than waxing and plucking and Marwa is the best at it!!! You won’t be disappointed

This was my second time I received great service. When I came for my first visit with Marwa it was my first time having the threading done. I must say she has a gentle touch no pain at all. I love my eyebrows each time I feel like a new person.

Marwa is the BEST! I met Marwa about 3 years ago when I first moved to San Diego. I swear, just like a great hairstylist — once you find the right person, you STAY with them!
Since day 1, Marwa has been extremely patient and kind. She really is the best in her field. I was a (very) recent bride and she knows I am paranoid about keeping my thicker eyebrows. She could not have been more patient with me to be sure they were perfect for the big day. She always asks first, and explains what she’s going to do, and why. I have to start by saying I’m now a threading convert! I have some major trust issues with my brows, over tweezed when i was young followed by a couple bad wax jobs. Marwa is amazing! I’m a hair stylist at Sola and recently moved to a studio right by hers. After meeting and talking to her I knew i had to try her out. I’m always looking for great people to refer my clients to but i always start with trying them out first. I can honestly say I’ve never actually liked my brows till she worked her magic on them today. Super sweet and extremely knowledgeable in her craft. She also showed me her brow powder and taught me how to apply. I’ve been using dipbrow for a long time but her powder is way better and much more natural looking. Thank you again Marwa!!!

I’ve been going to marwa for years now, and ever since I found her. I would never consider going els where. She is hands down, THE BEST!!! Marwa is very flexible with scheduling, and always works around your schedule. She definitely always thinks about her clients first, and does what ever it is to make you a happy client. I absolutely LOVE Marwa! I have been going to her for years… I first found her at a former place she used to work at but I am so glad she has her VERY OWN space now!!! Great Arches is nestled in a modern location in Mission Valley where there is plenty of parking. Marwa has paid close attention in every aspect in decorating her space … She also has her own eyebrow powder to suit ALL her clients needs! I will NOT trust anyone else to take care of my eyebrows! Marwa is the Queen of Eyebrows!
