Good Feet

These guys are great! I’ve in my 50’s and had some pretty serious knee problems and pain due to an injury in my teens. A few years ago my son and I were both fitted at Good Feet. The employee took a ton of time on my and my son — listening to each of us and then «fitted» us with the correct product. That was several years ago and I“m still wearing my orthotics and pain free. My son wore his until he outgrew them. Great product that I highly recommend for anyone experiencing lower body pain.

Cheap molded plastic supports. They sale them off the shelf. Over priced ($ 300) and over advertised. Bad fit? You pay $ 40 for the exchange and that is less than the cost of the product. Big sales commission, no doubt.

As of November 4, 2015 the sales representative lacked a welcoming customer service demeanor. It’s really not what he says but how he says it. I had pain in my heels and basically said «CVS or Rite Aide may have gel soles there.» He said, «our orthotics cost about $ 300…» Code for, Get lost… lol! Don’t mention any of your PPO medical insurance, he gives you the OBAMA CARE look.
He gets ONE STAR for reluctantly giving me a foot impression test and trying on some foot inserts (in 4 minutes).

I went in today to a «good foot» store in agony. I stand in work boots all day on concrete and was literally limping in to the store. I guess I was expecting a miracle but what I got was a high pressured salesman who tried to sell me a $ 900+ orthotics system. I walked in ink paper, listened to his speech about foot arches and supports which is porbably accurate, I’ll give him that, but then he turned cold after I told him, there’s no way I’m paying almost $ 1000 for foot care at this point, even if I had it, which I don’t. Any how, due to the pain, I settled for the «life time guarantee’d strengthener orthotics which I can only wear periodically, I go in limping in pain, I come out limping in pain and $ 300+ less in my bank account. I hope these work or I’m not going to hear the last of it from my wife.:(. P. S I wish I read these reviews before I went in. I will be sure to make plenty of copies of my receipt as the orthotics are supposed to be lifetime guaranteed. We’ll see…

I wish I could give this place 0 stars my grandmother came here yesterday although I was not there wish I could have been to go off on the lady who failed at assisting my grandmother she was beyond rude arguing that my grandmother did not buy her inserts there my grandmother is a beyond honest person so she would absolutely gain nothing out of lying about where she bought her inserts, they couldn’t look up her information so therefore she did not purchase them there! Is what they said .Here’s the thing when my grandmother purchased them 5 ½ years ago my grandfather had just passed away she was heading back to work and decided to treat herself to something that would benefit her and she knew was costly so at the time of course my grandmothers mind was not all there to make a long story short after all this was done and over with the lady went to the back and had the nerve to sit there and mimic and talk about my grandmother all while they can hear her my aunt was with her and told her lets go and that she wasn’t going to give her business to them! I was told more was said to the lady working there and frankly glad you were told off, if you hate your job so much maybe you should go else where!

You can get much better orthotics (arch supports) for $ 20 at a military surplus store or buy a pair of «Superfeet» for around $ 40. I have seen where these are made. I feel this company is a huge rip-​off.

This is not specific to this location — Do not but this product, it is way overprized prized for what you get. insoles that are sold base don your foot print at other stores are around $ 60 — $ 80, and are just as good.

I received terrible customer service here. The lady there had a bad attitude and quickly ignored me when I said I’m going to take some time to think about making a purchase. Never would I go there again.

I came into this place to get a consultation for getting orthotics for my feet. They spent about half an hour to 45 minutes having me trying all these different orthotics they wanted to get three pairs that would be $ 900. I was very skeptical and I told them I wasn’t willing to make a decision right away so after that I left and I read reviews about good feet. I read several negative reviews about this company and the claims they make. Not to mention the products that don’t work. When I remembered after I left that the representative never replaced my shoe insert back into my shoe. I went back later to get it and they had thrown it away. The representative gave me something else to replace it and trying to pressure me into getting the inserts again. I told her I didn’t have the money at the time. She persisted to tell me that I was being a cheapskate for not buying there product. Her name is Marianne and I totally resent the fact that she said that because I wouldn’t buy the products that people so negatively review!

What a waste of time and money. I got a pair plus inserts, spent almost $ 500. The soles of the shoes wore right out in two months! And boy, were the shoes heavy! Got a pair of inserts at Walmart for a fraction of the cost AND they actually help too.

I came to this location with my dad because he was looking for some orthotic inserts for his feet. Randy, the sales associate who helped us gave my dad a simple questionnaire and measured my dad’s foot with a tracing pad. He then went to the back of the store to grab a generic box of inserts. The inserts all vary in the hardness of the plastic but he could not tell us a reason as to why they were necessary for my dad’s situation (e.g. ankle pain, knee pain etc.).
Randy gave us the sales pitch that 1 insert would cost about $ 350, 2 inserts for $ 600 and 3 for $ 900 and the shoes was thrown in for «free». My dad was hesitant about spending so much money on something that is clearly ‘one-​size fits all’ and is non-​refundable. A huge red flag for me was when we asked to explore other options before investing in good feet. Randy’s attitude changed immediately and he became curt and rude with us. He took the sheet of paper with the written prices out of my dad’s hands and said we are not allowed to leave with it. I find this kind of behavior very suspicious, I think if you were a reputable company with a good product you wouldn’t need to be so belligerent to customers for wanting to explore their options and compare prices. For this kind of money you are better off consulting a podiatrist who can provide a custom fit orthotic insert that is specially made for you.

Do not waste your time and money, I try three different pair and give them 2 months to break in, but my feet still hurt every time I put the arch supports in. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. NO REFUNDS ‚.

Very awkward experience! We came in to check out their product to seek solutions for knee problems. Randy welcomed us, awkwardly, and began to service us without much education about the products. We then proceeded to ask our own questions in terms of what we were looking for. As soon as I mentioned the upcoming doctor appointment he began to pack up his products and wished us a good Thanksgiving, awkwardly. I say this because his body language read an unwelcoming message. Well, they lost our business because we will not be returning to this location ever!

I’ve worn orthotics for 25 years. The Good Feet Store is a must for everyone because shoes do not support your feet; then, of course, your feet will not support your body. Proper orthotics will retrain your feet which will properly realign your posture. The people at The Good Feet stores know their business and can help your body with their excellent products. At the Mission Valley, San Diego store, Bonny is awesome. No one will hard sell you. The price is right for a healthy and pain free body. You will actually find relief the first day you wear properly fitted orthotics.

Randy replied to my email in a speedy fashion. Yes they are sales people, but they do give you a great product. I would watch them so they don’t try to add extra inserts. They are very understaffed and yes, they are not doctors, but the product that they give you is great, and it works. If you want pain relief in your feet, knees, and back. Check them out.

This place offers free footGood Feet is really a good store when it comes to your feet. If you are having foot issues and you want to talk about it. You really only have two choices: a Podiatrist or a foot specialist. They both do not do the same thing but they do have one thing in common… your feet and shoes. If you are complaining about one of these I would recommend this place. I don’t recall if they offer customized orthotics but I do know they do carry medical grade and pre –made orthotics. They do work but to an extent.
This place can be over priced but to be honest you cannot put a price on your feet when you need to be on them all the time. As compared to any expensive purse or any materialistic item we owned this device is priceless. Anyways… I had been in the store before and if you noticed my recent review I used to work at Foot Solutions and I have to admit these guys at Good Feet, they do know what they are doing.
The only down fall you have to understand is that no matter who or where you seek for help it is going to be a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance. It’s like finding one doctor to the next that works for you. Bottom line if you have foot issues do not want to limit your resource but you need to yourself 1^st before you make the judgment. No one is going to force you buy something you are not comfortable with therefore if Good Feet doesn’t work try someone else.
And if you are like the few others who had gone through these route many times, I would recommend reviewing their store policy before you make a commitment.
Tips: These guys are really good salesman and it can be difficult to make decisions what is needed or to understand what is best for you considering you will be overwhelmed. I recommend you to do your research and give yourself a budget before you come in. Once your budget is set you need to tell them that they needed to help you stay with the budget if possible. If not just walk away and and sleep on it.

Way over priced. I needed new orthotics to treat plantar fasciitis. Should have stuck with the podiatrist, who is qualified. Tried Bad Feet inserts, breaking them in slowly for one week. Oucch! When I went in to try another pair, they exchanged them for a «more aggresive» pair. They were harder and did not help the problem. An orthotics expert later told me I needed a higher arch, not harder plastic. Good Feet may get lucky occasionally, but they are not experts. The sales person who sold me had been a shoe salesman for many years. The female manager is very aggresive and went on about how messed about her feet wre before she used Good Feet.
If you spend hundreds, go to a podiatrists. While I was waiting for my doctor’s appointment, I purchased «Powerstep» inserts for less than $ 50, better than the junk bad Feet sold me. They will not give you a refund, just credit. I brought my husband in to get two pairs of shoes, as there was nothing there I needed for myself. Buyer, beware!

I hobbled into the store yesterday about noon/​Tuesday. The sales associate, Bonnie, explained Good Feet’s principles, took measurements and foot prints to show foot traits the orthotics would need to accommodate (degree the arch does or does not support balance, pronation tendencies etc.).
A balance test with and without arch supports was conducted also, to demonstrate stability and support in my current feet condition, and then, in contrast, those provided with the orthotics.
She spent time at the end of my purchase process to review the handout to take home: The pacing of how long to wear each support over the next 16 days, to allow the feet to adjust and accept the most supportive and stimulating of the supports. This appeared most critical to the success /​effectiveness of the regimen: Our feet affect everything above as well (knees, hip, back). So if joints/​bones and muscles in the feet are not gently re-​oriented, there will be improper re-​alignments and re-​injury. Bonnie really emphasized the schedule, and I am grateful.
Bonnie also stated that she will call me in a week, then the week after, to see how the system is working, and to make sure I’m following the plan. She distinctly cautioned me to follow the prescribed time recommendations for the 3 different levels of orthotics to prevent over-​working the involved muscles.
This is only day 2, and even after seeing my podiatrist last week, this is the most consecutively pain free I’ve been in months.
** I could not walk on my right foot yesterday, and in the store with the first orthotics placed in a wider athletic shoe, I walked in virtually complete comfort. The customer support person may make the difference, and I saw the other consultant there yesterday conducting the same progression of work with another client.

I went in again today… I don’t know why I bother. My orthodics went flat again, like usual. Service was long and when all I wanted was to replace them. They kept trying to up-​sell me. The only benefit of this trip: I found out the name of the man who basically laughed in my face when I wanted to exchange my orthodics when my receipt was just one day over the 6 month guarantee. It’s Paul. Don’t let his smile fool you, he makes you feel incompetent and stupid. Again, just don’t buy anything from this store. If your foot pain is really terrible, try to go through your insurance and get custom made orthodics or if it just needs a little relief, any supermarket or Target has cheap insoles.

I had a very good experince when I went in. The sales person clearly and accuaretely described the products and pricing. I deliberately went in during off hours hoping for personalized attention. (11:00 on a Tuesday) It worked.
I tried all three styles of inserts and was in and out in 20 – 25 minutes.
Completely satisfied with the sales associate and the product. I spent about $ 240 for one pair of inserts and one pair of insoles. As a comparison the same insoles through a podiatrist cost $ 500.00.
