This was a one star review that just leveled up into a five star review thanks to some awesome customer service :) When calling this company for bail quotes I had a pretty serious issue with an employee, promoting me to write a one star review. Less than 24 hours later Dustin Guerrero, the owner of Golden Boy Bail Bonds, had sent me a long email profusely apologizing and inquiring further on the incident to determine which employee was failing him. He went above and belong to resolve my issue, and that is why I feel this business deserves 5 stars all the way. I was very impressed with his devotion to customer service and the overall sincerity of his demeanor. Within seconds of talking to him I both liked and trusted him, and that doesn’t happen to me very often. I loathe people who shamelessly pander and kiss the big badonkadonk, however Dustin’s approach to addressing my issue was unique. He actually seemed emotionally invested in the resolution, like it upset him that someone had a bad experience with his company and he needed to get to the bottom of why this happened to defend the honor of his company and their sterling reputation. I see this dedication as a commendable trait because honestly most bail bondsman are complete a**holes who only care about makin that dollar. This guy was so cool that through the course of our telephone conversation I started to empathize with him and felt bad for posting a bad review in the first place. When that lovely 866 jail phone number pops of my cell I usually go through Accent Bail Bonds because they always hook me up with 8% but I think I’m going to give these guys a try next tim, they definitely earned my business!

I have known the owner of this agency for over 15 years. They are conveniently located next to the central jail in San Diego and provide honest and friendly service. They also have offices near neighboring jails so they can provide help no matter where you are. I highly recommend them in case you need their services.

This is definitely not like other bail bonds places. The people here are kind and keep it real. They don’t make promises or offers they do not intend on keeping like this industry is infamous for.
I’m glad that I know I have somewhere I can trust and depend on without having to wonder if I’m being ripped off and taken advantage of.

So I had some of my good friends in town from back home.
Long story short, one of them gets arrested while we are downtown.
We spoke with a lady at golden boy, and she explained he would be out sometime in the early morning.
They were able to get us sorted out and I’m thankful we ended up at their office.
They were very patient with us and visited our friend in jail and let him know that everything was taken care of.
This is the place to go if you or someone you know ends up behind bars.

Last week, a few of us made the trek down to the good ol’ GaslampQuarter. We had a wonderful weekend planned.
We checked into an awesome room at The Omni and headed out and about for some drinks and fun.
Midway through the night, some military chap decided to go alpha male on my friend who was talking to a pretty young lady.
Anyways, the incident resulted in my friend getting ejected from the club after a light scuffle. Things escalated again outside and before we knew it cops were involved.
After finding out his charges and bail amount at the jail, we walked a block over and found Golden Boy.
Ivanna was very helpful and did her best to keep us calm and explain the full scope of the situation our buddy was in.
She gave us a heads up once he was about to be released.
I love San Diego, but lesson of the weekend was, have fun and avoid the aggressive bros and focus on the atmosphere and pretty ladies.
Would definitely go back to Golden Boy if anyone I knew was arrested in the future.

Seriously the best Bail Bonds in San Diego! I recently needed help Bailing out a family member of mine and in the middle of the night! Thank god this place is open 24/​7, ! Bail Agents are so respectful and make you feel welcomed and comfortable as soon as you enter their building… 5 stars for Golden Boy… most definitely recommend.

Great team at golden boy. This weekend while in PB, one of my close friends was arrested. He strayed from the group and we did not know exactly what his charges were or how much we would have to pay to get him released.
After calling Golden Boy, we were informed of exactly what was going on and how much his bail was set for. I spoke with Dom, and he was very friendly and straightforward with me about my friends situation. After finishing the process, they had a very nice lounge where I was able to wait on my buddy to be released.

Ivannia she is a very cool gal! She really gave me a great deal and got me out early!

I recently had a family member in town and ran into a little bit of trouble. I drove down to the jail to get info on him, and after leaving the jail I walked a block over and found Golden Boy.
After a quick application process and a few signatures, they were able to get my cousin out no problem.
A huge plus to this place is that they constantly have someone in the office ²⁴⁄₇ and they fielded all my questions in stride.
Grateful I landed in their hands.

Had the pleasure of having to bail out a friend who had a little too much fun this Halloween. He took his Lemmy costume a little too serious this year and found out he can’t hold his booze as well as Lemmy, because nobody can, because Lemmy is God.
This was a first for me so I didn’t really know what I was doing or what to expect. They calmed my nerves and walked me through the process. They were upfront and straightforward with me which made me feel pretty comfortable.
Hopefully I dont have to be put in this situation again, or be on the other side of the law, but if it happens, I know who to go to.

I used them personally and would never reccomend this bail bonds company. First of all they are very unprofessional, i bailed my boyfriend and i out and i still had payment, the women tried to tell me she would take trades instead of money (like marijuana, and another highly illegal substances) i am legally aloud to smoke in the state of CA but i find this very unprofessional for a bail bond company. also i have been harrased through phone calls through this whole company is ran by a hispanic family owned, not only did they call from thier number but multiple other numbers and restricted numbers. I went to court to get this horrible company out of my life the case was dismissed a year later they come to my place of employment but they handle thier buisness very imature and unproffesionally instead when they found me of telling me they where bail bonds people and i needed to come with them they made a story and tried to make me do more illegal thing to add criminal cases and made a scene after they couldnt get me to do anything illegal by dragging me out of my work and i wasnt informed of who they really where until an hour after they had taken me, resulting in being fired from my place of employment. wait it doesnt stop here… i was told by the owner of the bailbonds if i reffered 8 people i would be bailed out for free i reffered 10 people and they kept a story goingthat they where coming to get me i spent the whole 3 days in jail do not trust these people this is suppose to be the law but they do drugs lie and try to cheat you i would hate for anybody to be taken advatage of by this company, you can tell by thier office and thier rude attitudes they dont take thier job seriously.

I would rate these people 0 stars if I had the option to. AWFUL AWFUL service!!! Don’t even bother wasting your time with these people. We tried posting bail and were told by Golden Boy that it would take up about 4 hours to have my son released so headed back home. As soon as we arrived home we got a call from them saying to come back because he would be released within the next hour.
We go back turns out he now won’t be released at all mind you he was only detained for outstanding traffic citations. After going to the jail to see what the issue was we headed back to Golden Boy for a refund since they didn’t post bail. At this time the guy who first assisted us was no longer on shift. We were now being assisted by a butch looking older woman.
She told us she had contacted the owner and to wait about 20 minutes for him to bring the money. My pregnant daughter in law who was visibly sick and constantly going to the bathroom to vomit, Grandson (4 years old) and I waited for about half an hour. This was around 11:00 pm. We finally asked what the hold up was and the women told us the owner was SLEEPING IN A BACK OFFICE because he was not feeling well and she had already told him we were waiting and we’d have to wait until he felt like getting up to get the money out of the safe.
After waiting for over an hour we obviously became upset and started arguing about what kind of business this was having to wait on a sleeping person to get up to refund our money knowing that there was a sick pregnant women and small and now very cranky child aside from myself waiting to get back what’s rightfully ours and asking if there was anyone else that could get it for us. She stated there was nothing she could do as she could get fired if she bothered him we’d simply have to wait for him to get up when ever he felt like it and if we did not stop bothering her she would kick us out. My daughter had been checking in on me via phone and after I told her we were still waiting for our money and what the women was putting through she tried calling in to see if there was anything she could do. That only resulted in her being hung up on!
Eventually we called the police and amazingly as soon as the police showed up the women’s demeanor instantly changed and the owner suddenly popped out of nowhere with cash in hand! Don’t waste your time with such an unethical company with an immense lack of customer service!!!
