History
Established in 2010.
The Gaslamp Speakeasy was conceptualized by Paul Hennessey, owner and operator of Hennessy’s Taverns. While the Gaslamp Speakeasy shares a kitchen with the downtown Hennessey’s, don’t expect to have the Irish experience here. At the Gaslamp Speakeasy, you will encounter seasoned mixologists who will carefully craft a classic cocktail, or query them to create your own unique cocktail. We are constantly infusing new liquors to present to our guests — stop in and try one!
Meet the Manager
Gregg O.
Manager
Gregg took on the responsibilities of running the Gaslamp Speakeasy in October of 2012. He is a seasoned general manager, coming from various past bar concepts throughout Southern California. He relies heavily on mixologists Heath and Matt to create new infusions and cocktails, furthering the local craft cocktail movement.
