Foot Locker

Terrible customer service. Staff extremely unhelpful and clearly hate their job. I figured out my size and decided to buy online, wait a couple of days, instead of dealing with the customer service. They sure love talking amongst each other though. Never buying here

Plenty of staff, but they’d rather chat amongst themselves than help customers. If you finally manage to get someone’s attention they’ll fetch your shoes for you to try on while they go back to chatting. Come here to find your shoe and size then order from Amazon. We won’t be returning.

OK Selection, but poor customer service.

Stopped in on a whim just to see if they happened to have my multicolored FlyKnit 4.0. & to my surprise they had them! I was greeted immediately by Kristin. She lead me right to them, checked on her mobile pc to see if she had them in my size. I tried them on and BAM! Instant love. She was very friendly and not pushy at all. She let me do my thing. I will be back for the black and white pair now that I have my $ 10 off coupon from my receipt (survey). Yippee :)

Just come to buy shoes nothing else.

Ok so there is a new system in affect for Foot Locker, Champs Sports, And Foot Action to verify military service. You have to register at
BUT I only upgraded to 2 stars because of the customer service was lacking.

When I came in, there was one other customer and about 4 or 5 employees. They were either talking to each other or playing on their phones.
Nobody greeted me but they definitely saw me. I stood there looking at shoes, had questions, wanted to try stuff on and nobody asked if I needed anything. I finally went up to a group of 3 employees and asked for help. They looked clearly annoyed, one sighed grabbed the shoe and said what? I asked for the size, he said nope don’t have it. Then returned to his conversation.
So rude! I thought u want me to buy shoes here?! Guess not!
So I spent my money on 3 pairs of shoes elsewhere. I will never come here again and will tell all my friends not to even bother with this Foot Locker!!!

If I want shoes you better believe I am going straight to Foot Locker. Whether it is a new pair of vans or a pair of stylish basketball shoes it is almost certain that they will have them here. Prices are good too. Sometimes they will have some incredible deals on new styles, however you have to know about them ahead of time or else they will usually sell out. As far as clothing and accessories go they are a bit lacking. But it is called Foot Locker for a reason. I do love their socks. I have had all types of socks but my favorite athletic socks are definitely Foot Locker brand.

This is what has become of the once great Kinney’s shoe store. The selections not bad, especially if you are a teenager. But I for one see nothing I would buy here.

Do not come to this store if you are looking for good customer service.
I had bought a pair of shoes from this location only to realize the sole was coming apart when I got home. I took the shoes back to the store the next day and the manager who was working said he would only be able to replace it, not give me a refund. I said ok, and he went to the back to look for my size. He comes back out empty handed and says they do not have my size in stock and he would have to order it from the manufacturer. He gave them a call only to find out that the manufacturer not only does not have my size but the shoe I purchased has been discontinued. He said my only option would be to buy another shoe and pay the difference. At this point I was fed up with the whole situation I decided just to throw in the towel and choose another shoe I liked. It was only an extra $ 10 but that didn’t make up for the fact that I wasn’t able to get e full refund for my damaged shoe I had JUST bought.
I was not happy at all. I mean, how could you sell discontinued or damaged shoes and not be able to offer a refund? Absolutely ridiculous! I will not be coming back!

Alexis was awesome! My hubby and came in the other night to buy some new running shoes. Alexis was incredibly patient with both of us even though I was really indecisive. She patiently helped us for more than 30 minutes and gave us really good advice and helped us pick the perfect shoes. I love this location:)

I LOVE THIS STORE! Why?
1. Variety of shoes.
2. The Staff is very helpful and professional.
3. It’s clean.
I have been to this store hundreds of times, they tend to stay busy. I don’t walk in expecting a «HELLO» as soon as I take 2 steps in, I understand that they are busy and as soon as 1 of them becomes available they assist me with any questions or purchases that I want to make. The entire staff is great, Alexis, David, and Brandon have all been very helpful to me. When it comes to special releases and raffles «Come on people, do you know how many people are actually getting tickets for raffles?» I heard this 1 guy pays homeless people to go get a raffle ticket for him. So if you don’t get a call from Foot Locker don’t be surprised… the odds of winning a raffle are 1 in 600 or more! I wish I would win every time I get a raffle ticket, but that just will NEVER happen. Thank You UTC Footlocker, keep up the good work!

House of Hoops in the back is cool for bball gear (elites, shoes, clothes).
Their shoes and Jordans seem to always be in stock so thats good.
Service is nice, yea stop in if you’re at UTC.

Came in today looking for a pair of cross trainers. I looked high, I looked low, I even looked in the kid’s section, not a pair to be found. You’d think the only people looking to buy athletic shoes are runners or basketball junkies. After failing to get the attention of any of the workers, I said eff it and left. Fortunately Sports Chalet is in the same mall so I headed over there. They had a decent selection of cross trainers (along with running and bball shoes) as well as a pretty attentive and helpful sales person (good stuff Lamar).

One of the reasons why I shop at Foot Locker is for their exclusives. Each distributor (Foot Locker, Finish Line, etc.,) makes deals with manufacturers (Nike, Reebok, etc.,) for exclusive rights to release certain shoes for a predetermined amount of time.
Usually Foot Locker does the best job with Nike exclusives and Jordan brand, so they always get a look from me. Another reason I shop here is for their athletic gear. If I can’t make it to a Nike outlet to load up on clearance items, I go to Foot Locker for their swag.
Whether it’s sweats or basketball shorts, the quality is always there both in cost and in durability.
One thing I don’t go to Foot Locker for is customer service. They don’t work off commission, they work here for employee discounts and to keep the shoes they want off the shelves long enough to snatch it when it gets marked down.
The associates aren’t paid that well and they probably have a full-​time job anyway. Or they’re students, live at home, and spend 50% of their paycheck in the store. How else could they afford to buy anything here?
If you want great customer service, then go to a Niketown, a New Balance store, or Nordstrom.
You won’t get great customer service at Foot Locker, but they will get you a pair of shoes if you’re holding one of the display shoes.
And that’s the rub baby…

Horrible customer service. I went to this location a few months ago to find my 1 yr old son a pair of shoes. My wallet was itching to spend some money. Too bad they didnt get my business and probably never will. I walked into the store and got no greeting whatsoever. They 3 reps in there just looked up and continued with their conversation. Now, I’m originally from GA so I’m used to at least a hi how ya doin. Normally you walk in a store and someone says SOMETHING to acknowledge you’re there. Nope. Not here. At first I thought, well maybe it’s cause I’m black. Cause this area (UTC) seems to be pretty snotty as it is but seeing as how everyone else was treated the same way I can rule that out and just say that they are pretty shytty to everyone that walks in. I go to the infant shoes and look around. Still nothing. Not a can I help you with anything or nuthin. I even looked the reps way a few times and they could care less. I picked up a few shoes, looked at them, observed, and not once was I helped. I walked out the door and to no surprise there was no Thank you come again.LOL.Ummmm, excuse me there manager? I think it’s time to do your employee evaluations now.

If I wanted help from someone who knew as much about running shoes as I do, I would have asked one of my girlfriends along with me.
Upon entering the store, I wasn’t greeted. I can deal with that. I stand looking puzzled at the vast array of running shoes before me. Nikes, Reeboks… Where to begin? A little assistance would be nice. It took 5 minutes before someone asked me if I needed help. Uh, yeah I do!
The sales rep didn’t prove to be of any assistance. I asked him to explain to me the differences between all of the Nike Lunars. «Oh… I don’t know. I think they are all the same.» Surprised, I asked «Really??! This shoe is $ 30 more expensive than the other one.» «Yeah, no, they are the same.» Frustrated, I picked up the shoes to find the differences myself. I read them and told him, «This shoe says ‘Dynamic support,’ and this one doesn’t. Maybe, this one has more support than the other one?» «Oh. Yeah, that must be it.»
WOW. You were absolutely no help. I would give them 1 star, but the guy told me that he thought the purple shoe looked best, and I happened to agree with him. :)

I used to work at Footlocker back in my day at the Westside Pavilion in LA so I know what these guys are going through. Whenever I walk into to one and see what I like it just make my request as quick and as politely as possible. I went in there ⁰⁶⁄₁₈ after work to look for a pair of running shoes for my pop, mind you I wasnt looking to drop $ 150 on pair of running shoes but somewhere round the $ 70-​$ 100 range would be fine. I am having a hard time finding something cause my pop likes the simpler less eye catching shoes and all FL offered was over the top shoes. I was there for about 10 – 15 minutes just walking around and no acknowledgement of any kind, that’s okay. I finally found a shoe that i thought my pop would like and asked an associate to get me a size 9 new in box, he seemed confused when I said new in box, so I reiterated to him that I wanted one that wasnt laced up, didnt have the other shoe as the display one, hence one new in box.
First off, yeah I am picky, secondly I have every reason to be. Even if they have a shoe in my size and I really want it, if it’s not brand spanking new, forget about it. One time when I was working at FL back in the day, a couple came in to try on shoes for the man, he tried on about 5 – 6 different pairs, in the process of them trying the shoes on the older lady looked over to her partner and they started talking about the foot fungus medication and if he had taken it today and such. I am serious that is effin disgusting! Hence, any time I buy a shoe, it has to be one where no one tried it on.
Back to my story, so before the associate goes to see if he has the shoe, he explains to me that the shoes changes between different footlocker locations all the time and so it might not be easy to find one. First off, when i worked at footlocker shoes werent going from store to store, no reason to… secondly please go look first before you give me an excuse. So he comes back and tells me that the shoe is on display, I told him it was alright but that thank you, he says «alright than man, peace».
Peace? Peace??? WTF??? Didn’t bother to ask me if there was another shoe i wanted or what not, just said peace and left. I like how he had on his little ghetto swagger and slang the whole time, use that for some little 16 year old unemployed boy or some barely legal girl you trying to holla at, not me.
I will continue to buy from FL, just not this one, in the end bought shoes from Finishline, cause the ghetto fab FL associate couldnt get the job done.
