My family has been attending this church for about 6 months now, and we absolutely love it. We are a military family, so we will have to move away from San Diego eventually, and I must say– having to leave this church is probably my biggest regret. The pastors are great and caring, relevant and engaging. The kids ministry is awesome– we can leave our little ones (2 and 4) at the Sunday school and enjoy the service without a worry. The worship team is amazing and very talented too. People overall are very friendly and welcoming. There is never a Sunday when I don’t feel like going to church. Oh and you can skip the breakfast at home and have Starbucks pastries at church. Every single time

This church is so friendly and I feel very welcomed when I come here. There are a lot of greeters who greet you with such happy faces. I’ve been church hopping for a while because I couldn’t find a church that had great messages and where I felt convicted and was constantly reminded that I’m a sinner but yet through God’s grace I have been saved.
There are a lot of pastors our their who literally take a couple verses and fill in the rest of sermon with social commentary, which I really don’t approve of. However, pastor Elisha has been a great leader of the church. The sermons focus on the word of God. The worship team here is phenomenal too.
I think I have found my second church home (other than the one I attend in Torrance).

Great message Helping people find and follow Jesus. Refreshing veiws, music and fellowship. A wonderful place to worship our Lord.

FBCMM is my second home, the pastors are true spiritual leaders. The members are the friendliest and welcoming individuals I’ve ever interacted with. There are so many activities available for every age group, from infant to adult. If you are looking for a new church, come visit FBCMM.

This is an awesome church! I have been going there my entire life. I have brought my husband here and now we are raising our child in the church. My daughter loves it! Every Sunday morning she wakes up says church? doughnut? Thanks to the free starbucks pastries! But she also loves her Sunday school class and is so excited to show us what she made when we pick her up. The sermons are solid and we can’t wait for the new worship leader to come on board!

My family and I have attended FBCMM for about a year now, and we’ve honestly felt like family ever since our first visit.
Pastor Elisha has been a great friend and a fine leader of the flock. He preaches straight from the Bible and keeps the message relevant to what we face today, which is a refreshing change of pace from other pastors I’ve seen who use the pulpit more for social commentary than anything else.
The rest of the staff is fantastic, too! The Associate Pastor, Kendrick, has been here for less than a year, but has already made some great contributions and has a great heart for people. The youth director, Trey, is energetic and brings a fresh perspective to his position, and I know the middle and high school students are huge fans of his!
Overall, I’m proud to call FBCMM my family’s church home, and I love our congregation. It’s easy to see Christ’s love by the way they care for each other here!

This church is the second church I’ve been to since I have been living in San Diego. Compared to the first one, this one is awesome! Everyone is friendly and very welcoming. First Baptist Of Mira Mesa is everything I looked for in a church. I’m proud to say this is my church.

I visited the 11AM service at this church while traveling in the area. The message was solid, biblical, and practical. The atmosphere was relaxed and worshipful. I observed quite a number of young families. Pastor Elisha and Pastor Kendrick took time to visit with guests after the service. I would definitely worship here next time I’m in San Diego area.

This is a great church for people of all ages! Our family loves this church for all the great programs they have for our kids… Sunday School, Children’s Worship, Awana, Vacation Bible School, and Harvest Festival. FBCMM is a place where we belong, serve and love those in our church and community! Come visit!
