My favorite spot, awesome location for tide pooling, beautiful sunsets. Love that it’s away from crowds. Parking is always easy.

San Diego, CA
Great little place for observing species of the Rocky Intertidal zone. Went out here for a Marine Bio class and saw all sorts of cool stuff. Brittle stars, Conspicuous Chitons, Purple Sea Urchins, Giant Green Sea Anemones and all sorts of other sea critters. It also appears to be a great place to surf as well as having an awesome view!
Just abide by the rules, watch your step and don’t disturb or trash anything. Keep it clean people!

They FIXED THE STAIRS ITS SAFER TO GO NOW!!!
When the moon is in the right place the tide goes way way out and you can go around and find all sorts of cool critters! its alot of fun if ur a kid or just a big kid!
