Established in 1992.
Eyton J. Shalom, M.S., L.Ac. has twenty years experience as a Licensed Acupunturist. He has been in the Holistic Health field since 1972, including 3 years studying in India. He was the owner of the Mission Hills Body-Mind Wellness Center from 1995 to 2007, a group practice of Acupuncturists, Psychologists, and Body-workers.
Eyton has been in North Park since 2007, and enjoys the quiet calm of an old fashioned small office setting. His North Park practice includes a complete Ayurvedic and Chinese Medicine Herbal Pharmacy. Eyton also hosts regular Mindfulness Meditation classes.

Business Owner
Eyton began his study of Natural Medicine in 1972, living for 12 years as a Kriya Yogi, including 3 years in India and Sri Lanka, where he began his study of Ayurveda, Acupuncture and Buddhist Meditation.
A 1988 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Eyton went on to get a Master’s of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1992.
Eyton was a professor in the Herbal Medicine dept of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine for 5 years, where he also taught Holistic Nutrition, Acupuncture, Ayurveda, and Comparative Medical History.
Eyton has also served as a Subject Matter Expert in Chinese Herbal Medicine for the California Acupuncture Licensing Exam, as well as Asst. Chief Examiner.
A native of New York City, Eyton sees his role in medicine to both stimulate healing and to give his patient’s the tools to be active participants in their own health.
