Epiphany Golf

I was looking for golf lessons online and after doing a bit of research, I decided to go with Devin based on the reviews of others. I am a beginner and my husband helped to get me started during a few trips to the driving range. Devin’s expertise shown through immediately during our lesson. We spent the first 10 – 15 minutes talking about my previous sporting endeavors, what limitations I have and how to best approach my game. During the lesson, he used visual cues to help me understand and focus on the theory he was teaching. This made everything much easier to understand because I could see what he was trying to teach. Also, the appointment was scheduled for only 1 hour, but he stayed around for about 15 minutes afterwards continuing to help me with my swing. It is very obvious that Devin cares about his students and has been a huge help so far. My husband and I will be booking more lessons with him in the future. We would highly recommend him to anyone at any skill level who is looking to improve.

Devin is great. I bought a package of lessons at the start of the year and tried to keep it quite with my friends, however it became too obvious when I started dominating them on the course and taking all their money. So now at least 3 of my friends have started with Devin. At first I didn’t like it. But I have noticed now since they have been taking lessons with him my mental game and overall scores have dropped because of the increased competition. So not only did he help technically, he helped mentally which improved my chances of consistently going low every time.
I would recommend you and your foursome getting at least 6 lessons each to really feed off each other and to start playing the best golf of your life.

I was a 12 HC just last year, but ballooned to a 15.6 recently. My teacher in Vegas tried to change «the plane» of my take away and just screwed me up completely. While on business in San Diego, I called Devin for help and he’s totally turned me around.
After two lessons, I went from hosel-​shanks on every 3^rd swing to thinking about whether I want to play a fade or a draw. Amazing! He uses technology like other teachers, but it’s the instant feedback on my mistakes that have taken my game beyond where it previously was. I’m only here through May, but I’m getting as many lessons as I can before I have to go back!

I was introduced to Devin about three years ago. Beginning at about a 20 plus handicap to now I’m about a 7. We started out working on the basics including swing mechanics, grip, and ball striking. From there we moved on to chipping, putting, and most importantly course management. Getting out on the course with Devin was invaluable experience to my progression. We spoke in depth about course management, lie angles, and green reading. Essentially the lessons began with «how to hit a golf ball» and progressed to «how and when to attack the golf course». Great instruction, great guy, and my lessons continue…

Devin is amazing. I’m an average golfer at best so I was a little nervous about getting lessons. Not to mention, I wanted to make sure I spent my money wisely. Devin’s approach to golf is refreshing. He knows how body mechanics work so well that after just a little while with him I could see improvement. What he says makes sense and feels very natural, which is not always the case with golf. I’m glad I went to see him and look forward to seeing how much my game is going to improve. He’s very easy going and laid back — seems like a great guy.

I’ve been working with Devin for over 10 years and he has improved my game tremendously. I am now a 3.5 handicap and it’s all due to Devin’s insight and close attention to detail. He’s helped my game in every aspect from the driver to the irons to the short game. I took an AimPoint clinic and it helped my putting tremendously. If you want to lower your handicap and improve your enjoyment of the game, enlist Devin as your instructor and watch strokes be shaved off of your scorecard.
