History

Established in 2009.

In late 2009, my boyfriend (now husband) and I were watching an episode of Platinum Weddings, a show on the WE Network that featured weddings costing from $ 500k to over one million dollars. Everything was lavish, opulent and over-the-top…except the horrible white candelabras that came straight out of 1972. Since my boyfriend was a welder, I thought it would be fun to have him make a cool, modern candelabra flower stand. He was less than excited but nice enough to take a sketch I drew on a napkin and craft my idea.

When I took the finished stand to a local flower shop to have an arrangement made for it, the florist wanted to know where I got the candelabra and if I could get more. My response? «I know the people that make them (we had exactly one!) and yes, I can get more.»

Since then, we’ve grown our portfolio to include a full line of originally-​designed wedding and party rentals including cupcake and cake stands, arches, chuppahs, candelabras, chandeliers and more.

Meet the Business Owner

Valerie and Joe M.

Business Owner

Valerie McCartney — With a background in marketing and franchise development, Valerie has held senior level positions at PepsiCo, El Pollo Loco, Johnny Rockets and a few other large foodservice companies. The skills acquired there prove useful on a daily basis as she continues to build the Enticing Tables portfolio and brand name. In addition to managing the day-​to-​day operations and client service, Valerie creates most of the company’s signature designs.

Joe McKinney — As an aerospace welder with over twenty years of experience, Joe has welded parts on a variety of commercial and military aircraft as well as virtually every space craft dating back to 1985. His experience with a variety of metals and extreme attention to detail make him a natural fit for Enticing Tables.
