Emergency Dentistry

I took my mom here because she had a bridge (a type of fake tooth) that broke after 30 years while she visited me. Dr. Taylor took his time with my mom, and counseled her very well. He patched up the bridge with cement and it has held up very well. Whats more, she has been going to all kinds of dentists trying to find someone who will replace the bridge and no-​one will do it. He gave her some advice on how to find the right person for a permanent solution and she already has an appointment with someone back home! Highly recommend for an emergency situation. Dr. Taylor is semi-​retired and does this in his spare time. You have the benefit of someone with lots of experience and someone who obviously loves what they do. He charged us $ 225 for the visit, but I think this is reasonable given the emergency nature of the services. He also was willing to give us a claims slip to submit to my moms insurance.

I called Dr. Taylor at 9 am today (Christmas morning) because last night I had a sudden onset of pretty intense pain from my wisdom tooth. It was bad enough that ibuprofen and other pain killers were pretty much ineffective and I couldn’t sleep. I thought I had no chance of getting checked out but Dr. Taylor was available to see me immediately. He was calm, comforting, and understanding. He quickly checked out my tooth and saw that it was infected and took an x-​ray to suss out the situation. It couldn’t be removed today because it was infected and impacted, but he referred me to a surgeon for Monday and prescribed antibiotics and stronger painkillers to get me through the weekend and set me up for the procedure. Since pharmacies are closed on Christmas, I thought I had pretty much no hope of getting the medicines I need but Dr. Taylor once again went above and beyond by giving me samples to get me through the day (which he didn’t even charge for). He also caught damage under my filling and recommended I get that checked out soon as well. All in all, he made what could have been a really terrible situation so much better and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you Dr. Taylor!!!

Earlier in the week, I chipped a tooth at work that eventually would require a crown. Well I saw my usual dentist on Friday and they put in a temporary crown but the pain was excruciating and I couldn’t stop crying all day on Saturday. I left work early to be miserable at home and my dentist didn’t have any kind of emergency contact for the weekends.
That’s when I googled «emergency dentist open on Sunday’s» and found Dr. Taylor on google then Unilocal.I was skeptical because I’ve never gone to someone random for a dental emergency before but as soon as I got there I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Taylor is so gentle and tells you everything he’s doing before and as he’s doing it. He made sure I was comfortable. He examined my crown, removed, cleaned, and shaved some off because it was too high. He is also such a nice and welcoming man! He only works the weekends because he is retired and figured he’d help people since he doesn’t have much to do on the weekends. How amazing?! I’m so blessed that I found him. I would have been in pain for 2 more days if I hadn’t. Thank you Dr. Taylor!

I had a painful toothache. On late Friday night. I knew I would not be able to get through until Monday. I called Dr. Taylor and he called me back right away to make me an appointment for Saturday morning. He was just so kind, caring and patient. He explained everything and created such a calm atmosphere. His office is stress free and is relaxing. I was done in about 45 minutes. He is the best and I was so happy to find him on Unilocal.No more Pain!

Have a wisdom tooth to take out and was in so much pain but no one was able to see me. I called Dr. Taylor and he saw me right away. Very friendly and kind I would rely on him next time

I wish Dr. Taylor would go back into everyday dentistry! I’m terrified of the dentist and had to go to him with a horrible tooth ache. He not only made the experience nearly painless, but he was actually concerned with the next days to make sure I wasn’t in anymore pain. I was wide awake while he extracted a tooth and didn’t feel anthing! I would highly recommend him to anyone! He is amazing!

What can I say… Dr. Taylor is a kind man and is very helpful with tooth pain. I called Dr. Taylor on Saturday evening and he called back the next morning. I was able to see him the same day. When I arrived he was kind and made sure to let me know that he was here to help. My face was swollen and right away he gave me antibiotics to help with the infection. He referred me to a dentist that could help relieve my pain after the swelling went down. The best part was I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all and he gave me some advice about nursing (since I just had a baby 2 weeks ago) while I was taking medication and had the infection. I haven’t had such great customer service in a long time and he was a breath of fresh air. I recommend him for all dental emergencies. I wish he could be my regular dentist!!!

Couldn’t be more satisfied. Called Friday evening and he returned my call by 7:30 Saturday morning and I was in his office by 8:30. Quick x-​ray and then gave me options. Pull tooth for additional cost or get antibiotics and pain meds. I rooted for meds based on the information he gave me. Super nice guy, no hidden costs and not expensive considering the service he provides. Will return if another emergency pops up. Initial cost was 150 with x-​ray included. Pulling tooth could have been additional 150+ depending on difficulty. Again, great guy and awesome service.

I was able to get in to see Dr. Taylor this morning after a terrible night of pain. He was such a nice and welcoming man! He couldn’t help me as I need to see an endodontist but he wrote me a script for an antibiotic and a pain med to get me through. He didn’t even charge me for his time! What a stand up guy. I would recommend him 100 times over!

Dr. Taylor is wonderful! I called Friday night when I could no longer deal with my terrible toothache. He called me back first thing Saturday morning and I was in his office before 9am. He took x rays but could not find an obvious problem. He referred me to a specialist, prescribed antibiotics and pain medicine. HE DID NOT CHARGE ME ANYTHING FOR MY VISIT OR X RAYS! He said he was sorry he could not do help me today and sent me on my way with a cheerful smile.
He is truly a kind, compassionate man. i am sorry he is mostly retired or would go to him as my regular dentist.

Dr. Taylor was great! He’s very kind and I found myself to trust in his care immediately. I am so happy to have found him on Unilocal.He removed one of my wisdom teeth and both the procedure and recovery has been much more pleasant than what I could remember when I had one removed in an oral surgeons office 8 years ago. Dr. Taylor seriously saved me. He really does earn the 5 stars, he knows what he is doing and he sincerely wants to help take away your pain. My tooth started hurting really bad on Friday, and by Saturday the pain was unbearable. I searched dentist open on sunday and Emergency Dentistry popped right up. I put in the call Saturday 9:30 p.m. telling him of my sever ache and I needed his help. I got the call back from him at 7:30 in the morning on Sunday and was in his office by 9:00 a.m.
He had to cut open my teeth to relieve the infection, making sure I was numb and pain free. He explained to me exactly what he was going to do, and really just wanted me to be comfortable.
His rates were completely reasonable for what I thought was going to cost me an arm and a leg. Hopefully I will never have to go back, but if I do I will not be going anywhere else.

Dr. Taylor was the best. I took a spill and messed up my front teeth. It was the weekend and I thought it was hopeless. But he got me in first thing saturday morning, put all my teeth back in the right spot, and splinted everything. Prices were very reasonable (which was great because I didn’t have insurance) and the 3 follow up appointments I needed were included in the initial price. I can’t say enough good things.

I am a horrible dental patient. I’m very nervous and haven’t been to one in years. I called Dr. Taylor at 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon because an old crown was incredibly painful. A 45 minute drive later and Dr. Taylor was explaining my options. He made me feel more comfortable in a dentist’s chair than I’ve EVER been. Wish he wasn’t «semi-​retired» because I would go back to him in a heartbeat. He took care of my problem, wrote me a prescription for antibiotics, and I was out the door. I have no insurance, and it was very reasonably priced. I am pain free and ever so grateful for Dr. Taylor.

Dr. Taylor was available for an emergency dentistry on the weekend. He was professional and kind and pulled an infected tooth and instantly the pain was gone.
Ask dr. Taylor how he became a dentist it’s an interesting story! He is definitely in the right field.

Dr. Taylor was wonderful! I had to go in on a Sunday morning after a sleepless night due to the excruciating pain in my wisdom tooth. Dr. Taylor was so kind and concerned. Throughout the whole procedure he would explained everything and kept asking how I was doing. The extraction went smoothly and immediately the pain was gone. The cost was very reasonable. Dr. Taylor is terrific. I wish he had a regular practice so that he could be our regular family dentist.

My husband’s face started swelling up on a Friday evening, and by Saturday it was looking pretty scary (not to mention painful). Neither of us was willing to leave it until Monday, so I Googled «Emergency Dentist» and found Dr. Taylor.
I phoned and left a message around lunchtime. He called me back 10 minutes later, and within a half hour we met him at his office. He drilled out my husband’s tooth, gave him a prescription for antibiotics, had him come back for a temporary filling once the infection was gone, and referred him to his own personal dentist for the final crown.
Dr. Taylor was quick, competent, professional and reassuring for the nervous patient, not to mention very reasonably priced. If I could have him as my regular dentist I would!

Had a wisdom tooth decide to act up on a mid-​week holiday (4^th of July). My friend found Dr. Taylor through a Google search for an «emergency dentist». He was the first doctor we called that didn’t go to a pager or voice mail. In just about 30 minutes I was in his office and getting my tooth checked out. Dr. Taylor was very nice, and sincerely helpful. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Taylor if you need an emergency dentist. I’ve never had to see a dentist for an emergency before so I don’t have anything to compare but I believe his fees were fair for the services rendered. After a quick X-​ray and a couple of shots for pain management I was on my way with prescriptions scripts in hand and feeling so much better. Dr. Taylor is just fantastic.

He rules so hard, he pulled a tooth of out of my face while the power was out.
I was certain which tooth it was and he verified that it was broken and the source of mouth pain, which meant no x-​ray was needed. I was extra finicky and terrified at how badly it was going to hurt, but he was patient and kind and made double-​triple-​quadruple extra sure that my mouth was indeed numb.
He was even nice enough to walk me down the scary dark hall, up the out-​of-​a-​horror-​movie dark staircase, and into his lovely, naturally brightly lit office.
