Established in 1984.

The founder and current owner, Don Hartley, started Electrical Sales, Inc. with a single truck out of his home in 1984. With over 35 years in the industry, Mr. Hartley has built an organization with the technology, resources and horsepower to compete with anyone. Yet, Electrical Sales, Inc. still maintains our independence and flexibility. After a very confusing time trying to find a competent, local and friendly distributor of a certain light for my house, it was truly magnificent to find a business like Electrical Sales South with whom to do business. They guided me and understood my needs with total empathy even though I had difficulty explaining them myself. «Memo» at the front was professional and made a great effort to resolve my issue quickly. What’s even better is that the item he special ordered came early! 24 Hour turn around time! «Sheryl» gave me a follow up call to inform me as soon as it had arrived. Excellent! Having been in the customer service and human resources fields it’s so great to notice things being done well. Moreover, although this isn’t Nordstroms or a boutique high end retail store with all the frills, the folks at Electrical Sales South can be considered to be on par professionally, providing a special product with personalized service.
