Great moving company! highly recommend using them! They picked us up the next day after we were quoted and delivery was just 3 days to texas. On delivery the movers put everything into our house and unpacked our boxes since it was just me and my sister. We tipped well! will use them for when the rest of the family comes out

I moved with Efficient Transportation and the guys were great! They assisted me with all of my packing requirements, and they were finished with NY move within the time frame and at the cost quoted by Mark.
My wife and I were thoroughly pleased with the quality of service provided by Efficient Transportation, and we would definitely recommend them to our friends and family!

I am so happy and primarily relieved with Efficient Transportation. Their name really speaks volumes and they’ve certainly lived up to it from my experience. I recently moved to LA from NYC and had a ton of stuff I had to get over here. Of course, I was highly concerned about letting my cherished things go with total strangers across the country for several days, but it was inevitable, so I held my breath and left the rest up to fate. I talked to Jon and he did his best to assure me everything would be fine and arrive safely and in a timely manner. He’s a salesman, so of course I was still concerned that his charm was skin deep, but he did seem genuine as far as I could tell, so I went with it. My things actually arrived to LA even BEFORE the time they told me they would! And all my belongings were safe, Thank God. What a pleasant surprise and major relief. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Jon in person, as he wanted to make sure I was totally satisfied as he’d promised. I could tell at that point that even aside from his keeping his word, he was much more than just a salesman. He’s a charming, funny, professional and best of all down to earth kind of guy. ABSOLUTELY will recommend them to my friends and family. It’s not easy finding a quality moving company.

We hired Efficient transport after that came in and did an in-​home estimate. Their estimator, Mark, who claims to be an owner in the company, went through our entire townhouse before giving us a Binding Estimate for our move. The day of the move, movers tell me that I’m above the size estimated in the quote and that the move would cost more than double what my binding estimate was. Mark disappeared on the day of the move and we could not reach him. The office would not stand by their binding estimate so I had the movers unload our belongings to the point where they felt my original quote covered. I had to then hire a Budget truck and haul/​load the remainder of my belongings myself. This is a dishonest company who does not stand by their in-​home binding estimates. Beware, they are scammers.

A friend from NY recommended using this moving company and I am so glad they did. The price was right and it arrived a few days after I got to NY. The movers were friendly and took good care of my belongings (other than a few already somewhat damaged pcs which I don’t even know why I decided to bring with me). Although I don’t know too many people moving cross country, if I do hear of anyone I will be sure to recommend to them

Worst moving Company ever! Do not go through these guys for your move. I’m moving from San Diego to Orlando Florida and got a quote over the phone from tony Allen and then asked for someone to come out and give me a accurate quote Jonathan got here and the price doubled up and then when the movers actually show up hours later then the scheduled time they say it’s more stuff and we need a extra 1000 dollars and my stuff will be in a storage until they find a truck that’s going to Florida so I just told them to leave. I Should’ve listened to the other bad reviews on here. But lesson learned and hopefully this sends a message to everyone out there trying to go through this company to move their stuff.
After I posted this review I got a phone call from Jonathan the next day threatening to post a bad review on my company’s Unilocal account, he said «Hass I have all your information and I know where you work and if you don’t remove your review its gonna get ugly» well let’s see where it goes im also going to address this to BBB. And he made a fake account and posted a good review not knowing it’s illegal to do so, wow! Is all I can say.

Do not deal with this company worst moving company ever me and my boyfriend went through tony allen and Jonathan for the qoute my boyfriend listed all of our stuff to tony and he gave him a price ($ 1200) then Jonathan came out to give us a qoute and said the stuff was. big and said it would be ($ 2000) then when the movers finally came on the day scheduled day (5 hours late!) and say it’s too much stuff and we need a extra $ 1000 dollars and said there boss (Jonathan) always does this to make a sale. Do not use this company for your move!!!

My wife and I sold our home and decided to move to Florida, we called around and got some quotes from different movers, (we should’ve went with Mayflower, they quoted us $ 4500.00 including packing. My wife was dealing with Tony A. From Efficient Transportation and he quoted us $ 2800.00, so you can imagine the shock my wife and I were in when the foreman, who wreaked of marijuana
Told us the bill was going to be $ 7800.00, we immediately called Tony, who said not to worry, that he would work something out. (He wouldn’t answer our calls anymore) when our furniture arrived, many boxes were crushed and we noticed that the two boxes tagged video games (our stupidity) were both cut open and to our surprise, we found some discs missing from the original covers. Two lamps were damaged and my inversion table was destroyed. I am warning anyone considering doing business with this company to run the other way. I am not one to complain, but I also don’t like being taken advantage of, especially when they knew I was disabled. They totally take advantage of female customers and the disabled, they yes you to death, until they have your belongings on their truck. Most terrible moving company. No customer service skills. Picked up my furniture to be transported to Florida on May 14^th still waiting on a delivery on June 30^th. Please stay away from this company. No communication skills with very rude and disrespectful employees who wants to react to customers as if they are begging and not paying for the service. This company is the worst.

Oh lawdy, the only good thing I have to say is that the guy I was in communications with on the phone was nice. High five phone guy, even if you were completely new and knew hardly anything about the business itself, you were at least very polite and friendly and spoke clearly.
I booked my move across the country with these folks even though they were underbid by another company. This one was local to where I live, the other was a good 60 miles away. First of all I got slapped up the ass with additional fees that were never discussed such as a long haul fee, extra packaging AND a mandatory 10% tip. My stuff was loaded onto a very shady truck, complete with gang graffiti. At this point I began to calculate how much my stuff is worth as I was pretty sure it was going to end up being sold in Tijuana.
Well my stuff did make it to my location on a Sunday and I handed over a cashier’s check. Yeah… they don’t accept cashiers checks, which are as good as money and verified by the bank. You can buy a frickin house with a cashiers check but apparently you can’t pay a moving company with that. Cash or postal money order only. So had to scramble around to try and resolve the issue on a Sunday when EVERYTHING is closed to try and allocate either cash or find someone with faxing services to pay via credit card… which I was initially told was not an option.
Finally get the payment issue resolved, stuff is being loaded in, one of the guys straight up cartwheels one of the boxes into my new home. That’s right, just flipping it end over end until it was in my living room. Yes — numerous things in the box were broken. They also broke the handle on my dresser. Didn’t set up a lot of the furniture that they disassemble. There was no verification process to make sure all my items did indeed arrive. They use paper sticky labels on your furniture which of course doesn’t peel off.
I hate that I gave these people over $ 3000 to move my stuff… when I was quoted about ²⁄₃ that amount. HATE!
