Business Owner

Dr. Graham received her degree in Dentistry from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2000. She then went on to the University of Texas Health and Science Center San Antonio where she completed her Periodontal training in 2004. She practiced Dentistry with the United States Air Force from 2000 – 2007, and then moved on to open her private practice in beautiful San Diego. Dr. Graham has experience teaching dentistry. This experience includes serving as the Director of Periodontics for the Bolling Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency (AEGD) in Washington, DC. She also teaches at Southwestern College Dental Hygiene School. Dr. Graham has served in a humanitarian capacity in Cambodia, Belize, Nicaragua and Haiti. She lives in Ocean Beach with her husband, Jim, and handsome baby boy, Preston.

Dr. Graham is a extremely knowledgable, gentle and comforting! She did a deep scaling and bone graft to save one tooth of mine… it was a success and almost no pain!
Her staff are always very helpful. My husband and I went here last Monday and her hygienist, Maria was so welcoming and pleasant. She is as gentle as possible while still being thorough in cleaning our teeth.
I love that they email and text you for reminders and confirmations. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!

Unbelievable office. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. I felt at home from the moment I walked in. Upon meeting Dr Graham I was scared and nervous, but she quickly assured me that this necessary procedure would not be painful and that if I followed up with my hygiene visits and practiced good care then I should be back on the path to good oral health. I also forgot to mention she has the best sense of humor and talking to her is like talking to an old friend. Glad that she helped me solve my oral health problems in a painless manner.

Dr. Graham is super nice! I was a little skeptical at first because of how perky she is, but she did a really great job on my gum grafts. She’s easy to get a hold of when you have questions, and really cares about helping you.

I’m here to review the $ 49 groupon dental exam/​x-​rays/​teeth cleaning package. This deal is not a scam! They did a very thorough job cleaning my teeth and Dr. Graham seemed approachable and honest. I’m not sure how they make make money with this deal. I’m guessing it’s through return customers. Either way, they provide an excellent service!
The only downside was it took 1.5 hours from start to finish. This probably attests to their completeness. Would recommend to others :)

These people saved my life! This could be an exaggeration, but slight, very slight. I, too, had a dental emergency on July 4th! When i got in to see my own dentist the following Monday, he determined that I needed a specialist and called Dr. Graham’s office. They told him to send me right over. I had been in pain ALL weekend even on Vicodin. I would have rather gone through childbirth again! So when I got there, I was shaky and miserable. They took me right in and extracted the tooth and I was out within an hour!
They were all very kind and sympathetic and Dr. Graham is going to do an implant. She is very gentle and sweet and explains everything in a way I understand. Highly recommend her!

Hands down, this was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. Dr. Graham and her team were fantastic! I went in for a Groupon package that included a checkup, x-​rays, and cleaning. Dr. Graham was incredibly nice, very gentle, and explained in clear terms any issues I had with my teeth, as well as how to improve my oral care routine to avoid problems in the future without pushing other unnecessary services on me — she even took an extra set of x-​rays to check out a problem tooth for free! She also wrote up and discussed with me a comprehensive plan for future care with estimates for any work to be done clearly stated.
The hygienist was also amazing! I have some sore spots on my gums that she noticed and put a little numbing gel on to reduce any discomfort during the cleaning process — something that no other dentist or hygienist has done before. I also recently moved to North Park and she happily told me about all sorts of restaurants and activities in the neighborhood, which was a great distraction during the (nearly painless) cleaning.
I can’t say I’ve ever walked out of a dentist’s office looking forward to going back for my 6th month cleaning. I can’t recommend Dr. Graham and her team enough!

I was Treated by Dr Graham and when I 1st started my care I was extremely nervous and scared, I had so much work to be done. Dr Graham and her staff put me at ease right away, she is the kindest, professional Dentist I’ve ever been treated by and will recommend her to anyone I know that needs treatment. Dina is also a sweetheart and I want to thank the whole Team for giving me my smile back, It really feels amazing to have the confidence back knowing I have a beautiful smile again :).

I had the most wonderful experience at this office!
Dina the receptionist was so kind and reassuring.
The entire office is wonderfully staffed and I felt so comfortable there; I felt as though I was in their best interest. :)
I had my first exam today.
Dr. Edithann was very kind yet professional and came up with the perfect treatment plan for me. She went over her plans with me and I felt well informed about her plans for me.
I haven’t even had my surgery yet but I can say that after today’s appointment I am almost fearless! I know they will take great care of me.
I highly recommend this office!

I was referred to Dr. Graham by my father-​in-​law when I came down with a case of shingles. He has a practice in Santa Barbara where he has the same type of laser as Dr. Graham which is primarily used in dentistry for work on bio-​stimulation for gums. The laser has shown to have other bio-​stimulation properties, and my father-​in-​law suggest I try the laser out on the shingles to see how it might speed up the recovery process. He contacted Dr. Graham, they discussed my ailment and she was more than happy to help with her laser in San Diego, saving me the long 6 hour round trip to Santa Barbara for treatment.
Dr. Graham was able to get me in right away, and even made weekends available to me to come in for treatments. She was very engaged and interested in helping me to heal faster and reduce my very painful symptoms. She went beyond the care and attention that I received from my family practice physician and I am certain I got through the shingles much more quickly because of her help. She has since made several follow-​up phone calls to see how I am doing. It shows me she is truly interested in the science behind her work and advancing the body of knowledge. In my opinion, this is a model of health care.

Dr Edithann Graham is a competent, professional, ethical periodontist.
She does not over treat nor does unnecessary unproven procedures.
She did superb work creating a gingival graft. I am very pleased.
She is very careful and is gentle, the grafting did not hurt.
She is personable and a caring human being. Her staff are all kind,
well adjusted and competent individuals.
I could not be more pleased.
She also takes my insurance. Thank you so much for such great care!

I never thought that I’d write a review about my experience with oral surgery but I need to let everyone know that although I hope to never need more work, I would only go to Dr. Graham. I agree that Dr. Graham’s bedside manner is superior and her staff is no less stellar. I’ve had oral surgery in the past and expected to be swollen, in pain, and generally miserable for a few days. I could not believe that other than a small amount of swelling that ice applications took care of, I felt amazingly good the 2nd day with just minor discomfort after the surgery. Dr. Graham and her staff made me extremely comfortable and I cannot say enough good things about my experience.

I was treated by Dr. Graham for emergency orgal surgery and my experience there with her and her staff was superior! The doctor was professional and her bedside manner is amazing!!! Even better, the quickness and quality of the work was beyond comparison. I kid you not, this dentistry-​disliker will definitely see Dr. Graham again should the need arise (but wish me luck that it doesn’t any time soon ;). Huge thanks to Dr. Graham and her staff!!!
