Crazy touristy place. Great view with good service. But way over priced. Draft $ 9 for a wit. WTF! I have no clue what food taste like here. Only a bar.

Food was just okay. Great views and atmosphere and friendly servers! They got the order wrong the first time. Ceviche was short on flavor. Veggie sandwich was pretty good.

Walking through Seaport Village with some out-​of –town friends, we stopped by this place for sunset drinks.
We sat outside and it was breathtaking! You are right next to the water with great views of the Coronado bridge. It’s in an area that has less foot traffic than the beginning part of the village with all the street performers and vendors. They have heat lamps outside to keep you warm in the evenings. The hostess and waiters were all friendly and the service was prompt. My friends really enjoyed their drinks too.
Can’t speak to the quality and taste of the food but their prices are on the higher side. But then again, that seems to be the norm for the Seaport Village, touristy area.
Parking can be tricky on the weekends especially in the summer when it gets busy but you can either park in the small meter parking lot before the village entrance for $ 1.75 per hour or park in the village for $ 4 for 3 hours with validation. Grab dinner, walk around, and enjoy the beautiful views of San Diego!

I love this little place! We were there for a breakfast. We ordered Crab Omelette, Crab Benedict and Banana French Toast. My Omelette was absolutely delicious! It came with a piece of bread which gave to omelette the great taste! The Crab Benedict was a typical Benedict that came with a roasted lump crab cake and a corn-​poblano salsa! The crab cake together with the salsa were perfect! I could eat this all day long! We also ordered Mexican Hot Chocolate which was just fantastic!!!

Today we went on the orange trolley tour that goes around San Diego. We stopped off at Sea Port Village and ate at Edgewater Grill. My 4 month old started crying so I took her outside to breastfeed her. When I came back in, one of the waitresses, Nikki, came up to me and was like «I tried to catch you before you went outside to tell you that you could have totally breastfed in our empty banquet room. Sooo awesome! Once I sat down the food came out, and she came back up to me offered to hold my baby while I ate (since it was slow.). I politely declined but Seriously, I can’t say enough great things about Nikki!!! Who does that?! What an incredible person
Also, my fish n chips was amazing!!!
What a fantastic experience today. The world needs more people like Nikki. :)

Was lured in by the Happy Hour. HH food menu consists of like 5 things: onion rings, fried olives, meatloaf sliders, a single fish taco, and maybe something else? Prices are about $ 7 – 8 per plate. No cocktails on the menu other than the special drink of the day.
We ended up ordering off the regular menu. Overpriced to say the least. Clam chowder was good, albeit also overpriced ($ 9 non bread bowl).

Sorry to say I won’t be back. The pancakes and breakfast potatoes were great but I got irritated with our waitress after asking for our bill.
It was just 2 of us sharing a plate but we were not really attended too, we could hear our waitress chatting at other tables, then when I paid in cash $ 40 for a $ 27 bill she ‘asked’ if I wanted change, rude.
Then she came back asking what kind of change I wanted when I said I really just wanted the coins, I got a sigh. So I left $ 6 mainly because I liked the guy who brought the food out.

Had a great lunch here. We decided to try the Cuban and steak sandwiches. Both were delicious. The portion was quite generous. We also tried the frozen lemonade & Paloma cocktails. We loved the lemonade! The nutmeg made it taste like a dessert! A nice boozy treat. The view is beautiful. A great spot for people watching too. Definitely check it out!

Awesome view and people watching opportunity. The food was average… expect something akin to TGIF quality. My waiter was very attentive and friendly.
I would go back just for the view and the breeze.

The food was excellent. I had the tuna melt which was fresh albacore that was smoked. My husband had a pizza and it was outstanding. Highly recommend.

This restaurant has a great view but quite possible the worse breakfast food I have ever had! Overpriced is an understatement. Extremely disappointed in the food. Should have ordered water and sat on a bench for the view. Sent food back and had a snotty waitress to boot!’
Is this how San Diego treats tourists? Do not care about what they serve tourists?
I went through with the waitress how I prefer to not eat fried food and finally ordered eggs, house potatoes and beans. The eggs were cold and tasteless and the house potatoes were frozen tater tots !!

Had lunch here while on vacation and it was good. The menu is kinda pricey. I ordered the fish and shrimp with fries. The fries were kinda potatoless. The fish and shrimp were hot and cooked really good. There was a 20 min wait only because we wanted to sit out on the patio which has an awesome view of the bay. The waitress was attentive as well.

This place is a prime example of a restaurant that just survives because of their location. Expensive prices in an amazing setting is all the more reason to expect even more from the food. Every aspect of this meal was bad. Food was not cooked as asked and it was all cold. I’m serious… COLD. My $ 16 cheeseburger had to have been sitting for 10 minutes or more after done being cooked (burned), before being brought to our table. They also obviously put water into glasses that have been collecting dust for some time.
Avoid this place. Just get some pizza a few steps down instead.

It’s just ok. With the understanding and expectation that you will pay a premium for the location and the view, it’s actually not bad.
This is a restaurant that serves a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items right next to the port so you can enjoy a meal next to a great view. The food quality was ok and service was very friendly. But there was nothing special that caught my eye and made me want to try it out.
It’s located in the heart of seaport village which definitely seems like a touristy spot. Somehow I doubt that locals hang out here regularly. It’s walking distance from Petco Park and Gaslamp Quarter and to many nice hotels, if you’re coming in from out of town. Parking is actually very easy and they do offer validation.
This isn’t really a place that one might consider a landmark place that represents San Diego. It’s really something you just have because it’s there. Not very passionate about this place but then again it wasn’t bad. The only recommendation I have is to try the outdoor seating unless the weather is foul. There’s really nothing else special here.

After a morning at Balboa Park this past Sunday, we worked up quite the appetite and wanted something waterfront. At first we thought Mexican, then quickly changed our minds to seafood on the sea! After signing our lives away to park in Seaport Village, I pulled up the handy dandy Unilocal app and found Edgewater Grill. The location is exactly what I had in mind. Bay-​view. Before walking in, the food smelled fantastic. We walked in, noticed a short 15 minutes, gave our names for the patio and took a seat. We were promptly seated within 10 minutes. Our server quickly brought us our drinks and menus. I was mildly upset the «daily happy hour specials» were only at the bar, but oh well. Being quite hungry and dining with not only my girlfriend but her daughter visiting from out of state; I was ready to treat the two of them and myself.
I quickly selected Mussels Rockefeller for an appetizer. We also put in our orders. 2 of us ordered Fish and Chips and the other ordered Tuna Melt. Within a few minutes our appetizer was brought out. The portion was large sized for sharing, and rightly so for the price tag it comes with. All in all it was delicious and worth the price. I ordered some additional bread to soak up the bacon breadcrumb cheese sauce the mussels were soaked in. The sauce was not heavily greasy, but very creamy. This Rockefeller did not disappoint! We enjoyed the view and the breeze and a nearby tables musical selection of «chicago». The main entrees were served and I couldn’t believe how much food came out. I know I am picky when it comes to price for food, and this establishment is somewhat on the higher end of what I like to pay, however the food quality was well worth it. Quality was A+ and Quantity also an A. No let down here! I received 3 perfectly pieces of lightly fried Alaskan cod; a hearty portion of french fries and kale slaw. I was eating it and thinking to myself wow this is a lot of food. This Italian does not think that too often! While I was finishing my dinner the waitress walked to a nearby table with the dessert tray. She knew what she was doing! I saw the Peanut Butter item and knew immediately I would have to have that. I ordered that and the 2 girls shared a brownie. Both were very good. The brownie is not made on site however was not dried out or tasteless. The PB Bomb overall I thought was good but not excellent. It need more Peanut butter! Overall this place is great. I would come back for the service and the portions, recognizing the cost is worth the quality and quantity served.

This is a nice spot to enjoy lunch by the water on a beautiful day. My brother and I stumbled upon this place while looking for a lunch spot in Seaport Village. We mainly chose it because they have outdoor seating and it was too beautiful outside to eat indoors.
The Mahi Mahi Sandwich was calling my name for lunch. The mahi mahi was blackened and served on a nice crusty bread with an avocado spread. I absolutely loved it and hit the spot for a lighter lunch option. I ordered the kale slaw as my side in attempt to have something healthier than fries. The slaw was good, but was heavy on dressing so I’m not sure it was a healthy option. My brother had a cheeseburger and said he enjoyed it.
Our waiter was nice, but not the best with knowledge of the menu. My brother asked a question about the beer and the waiter didn’t know what to say. I couldn’t tell if he lacked menu knowledge or didn’t speak much English. Either way it was awkward to ask any questions. He also brought me fries instead kale slaw, but was pretty quick to fix it when I asked for the slaw. It didn’t take too long to get our food and drinks were refilled often so it wasn’t bad service, just not overwhelmingly great.

Stopped in after the Holiday Bowl Parade for some Bloody Marys and Lunch. We wanted a table outside so we waited in the bar and got drinks.
They called our name about 20 minutes later and seated us on the patio but nobody ever helped us! The table next to us was seated 10 minutes after us, got drinks, food orders and their food even came before anyone acknowledged we were sitting there.
We still had our drinks to finish and we weren’t in a hurry so instead of leaving we laughed and said let’s just wait and see how this turns out.
Oh yay, 25 minutes later a guy asks if he can help us. When I asked «you didn’t notice us sitting here waiting this whole time» the answer was «I saw your drinks and thought you were helped already»
Umm no, we got our drinks at the bar and they are clearly empty now.
Anyways, we order Shrimp Cobb Salad and Club Sandwich and 2 more Bloody Marys. The food took awhile but was good, the drinks were good, but geez they were slow and unattentive!
Would I go back? Probably not.

Came here for a date night. Very cute (albeit a little touristy) location at Seaport Village on the water, with views of the Bay and Coronado Island. I specifically wanted to sit on their patio, and we had reservations, but patio seating is first come first serve, so we had to wait for patio seating.
So​.to the bar we went, the drinks were good, I had their version of a Paloma with mango/​Serrano infused tequila and grapefruit bitters… I didn’t taste much of the grapefruit and my partner had their «American» mule that came in a tin cup. Flash forward. the hostess tells us our table is ready and we’re carrying our drinks over and she says «Did you close your tab?» And we didn’t, because at every place I’ve ever been to, they can carry that over to your table… So the hostess somewhat rudely says «Yea, close it out before we seat you.» Umm what?
We made our way to our table outside, very good people watching. We started with the crab bruschetta, it was a little bland for our taste, I liked the crab by itself and my fiancé liked the bread and balsamic reduction. He ordered the 8oz sirloin (med rare) blue cheese crusted w/​a side of Brussel sprouts and I ordered the Edge Cioppino (basically a seafood stew). I la-​la-​loved my stew, filled with seafood galore (clams, muscles, fish, shrimp and one huge scallop) in a tasty broth to dip their delicious garlic bread into. My fiancé liked his steak, but said he’d had better.
Overall, great views (if you’re outside), decent food (lots of seafood on the menu) and drinks. Tourist or not, it’s still a place to check out, just remember to close your tab out before you get seated (minus a star).

Cam and I wanted a quick bite to eat before yesterday’s Elite event, so we walked into Seaport Village and went to the first restaurant we ran into. Seeing open water usually makes me want fish and chips, and a quick glance on their menu posted outside indicated that we could indeed get fish and chips.
Upon walking in, we were a little confused as the hostess stand is inside the restaurant instead of the front. Or maybe it’s because we walked in through the back? Either way, it took us a minute to get our bearings. I asked the hostess to sit near the water, and she led us to a nice table with a gorgeous view.
There’s a small selection of local beers on tap, which Cam and I split. It took a little while for our server to get to us, but after that initial wait, everything came out quickly. Even though we only got one entrée to split, we never felt pressured to order more and the staff was more than happy to let us sit and enjoy the view. I think it also helped that it was a relatively slow dinner time.
Fish and Chips. The fish was nice and flaky; even though the batter wasn’t the best, it was still enjoyable to eat with some lemon and ketchup. Cam really enjoyed the chips (french fries). I thought that they were okay, and were a perfect snack with the beer.
Overall, this seems like it would be a wonderful date night. The view is beautiful and you can even do some people watching since it’s right on the Seaport Village boardwalk.
