EAR Audiology helps adults with hearing loss, tinnitus, and central auditory processing disorders by providing total hearing healthcare. This care includes examination and treatment by a Doctor of Audiology. Evaluations of hearing health are conducted using state-​of-​the-​art equipment. Treatment options include hearing aids, assistive devices, tinnitus therapy, auditory training, and more. Custom earplugs, earpieces, and in-​ear monitors. Voted San Diego’s Best Audiologist for 2011.

Meet the Business Owner

Aaron J.

Business Owner

Before becoming a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) and President of EAR Audiology, Aaron earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in aerospace and mechanical engineering; he has over fifteen years experience engineering at NASA, Boeing, and Illumina.

While earning the Au.D., Aaron studied ototoxicity monitoring of adults with cystic fibrosis. He completed his audiology externship at the San Diego VA and gained diverse clinical experience with both adults and children in small private practices, hospitals, and schools.

Dr. Jones holds the certificate of clinical competence in audiology (CCC-​A), is a licensed dispensing audiologist in California (AU2669), and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. He regularly lectures in the audiology program at the University of California, San Diego and San Diego State University.

Dr. Jones provides complimentary hearing healthcare screenings at the Encinitas Senior Center. He also continues engineering for biotechnology companies.
