I no longer live in San Diego, but EF Whalen continues to be the first estate liquidation company I refer everyone to even remotely near southern California — whether they are looking to buy or liquidate. I have known Igor for over twenty years and first met him at a sale. I still contact Igor first when I’m looking for something, regardless of shipping expense. And he has learned my taste and lets me know of anything «extra special» that he knows I will love, and he is always right! That’s the Extra Mile that is so rare to find in this day of Crate & Barrel or Ikea pricey trash.
He is the most charming, prompt, knowledgeable, itemized & detailed professional I could ever hope to encounter, especially as it comes to items with emotional weight and family history.

Igor is a total crook. We hired him to hold an estate sale. Then he send a check for the proceeds but it bounced! He kept our money. We lost several thousand dollars, had to file small claims suit. Still have not received the money because he has vanished.
