O-​M-​G! This place is always a hit !! It’s so damn good and its always been good for the past years I’ve been coming here. The Philly cheese steak is freakin mouth watering! add mushrooms n its even more FANTABULOUS! The guy that works here is real cool and hella hooks it up. I dont even know what to say about this place. Its just so good! Theres another Dominic’s on the main base at the NEX food court but it doesnt come close to the greatness that this location holds. So if anyone ever goes to the NavaL Medical Center/​Balboa Hospital stop by here, you will not be disappointed.

Dominic’s of New York is a kiosk food stand with a huge grill in the central courtyard of Naval Medical Center San Diego. This is the place for a Philly cheese steak sandwich on fresh bread. The aroma of Dominic’s permeates the courtyard and beckons you to come get one of these great sandwiches. Besides beef, Dominic’s has grilled hot dogs, sausages, and chicken.
Vegetarian, but cheating? Yes, you can get portobello mushrooms with onions and peppers grilled right next to the beef and sausage. All the taste, plus plausible denial.
Dominc’s is really good. When they ask if you want the big sandwich or the small one, it’s hard to say you don’t want it all.
