Denny’s

The initial service could use some improvement but sarah (i think is her name, long blonde hair) was a great waitress. She was fast, efficient and a sweetheart. Food was good

Typical Denny’s food. Staff is usually pretty friendly every time I visit. Sometimes it can be pretty busy and they have lines everywhere. One lunch visit it was busier then normal. One waiter mentioned it was graduation week so they were busier than normal. Not a bad place to eat if your not expecting to much. Like that you can breakfast food anytime of the day.

First off I walked in with maybe 4 people ahead of me and noticed several tables were opened. I was wrong the people before and after me were seated 3 different parties of 2 or 3 were seated before me and my wife and they arrived after us. When we told the staff about this they apologized then sat us. It took our waiter about 10 mins to take our order and another 10 just to get coffee. When we got our food we never saw the waitress again and had to tell the front desk staff we were leaving since we never even got our check or even a refill on our coffee. This location has horrible service and does not communicate with their customers unless you speak spanish.

Horrible service with lady named Alex!!! She didn’t even greed us or anything. Waited a long time for her to take our order and received the food cold!!! NEVER coming back to this place.

I Love this reataurant, the enviroment is always friendly and I feel I’m eating at home. The people are very attentive and welcoming. Specially Jose Felix (manager) and Gaby (cashier). I come here once a week and all employees are always in very good mood.

Arrived for breakfast at 5am on saturday. there was only about 5 maybe 6 tables being used. supposedly Denny’s was under staffed. we get to our table, order 1 soda and 2 coffees. server took 15 mins to bring our drinks to the table. We ordered our food and since it was a «substitute cook» my hamburger came out wrong. got a new burger 15 mins later. asked for a straw about 5 times. over heard this guy yelling about his omelet and how it was cooked wrong, another guy got up and left. the food was good i’ll be honest about that but i can go to burger king and get a good burger…
Worst service i have ever experienced in Denny’s history and this is the reason i would never go back… I even waited outside for 30mins for the manager to arrive, explained the whole situation about what happened and by the look in her face it seemed like she didn’t care… Moving on to IHOP

i was awarded a coupon from our server when we left… that expired 6 months ago… bahahahahaha terrible!

Service sucks and parking is a disaster during their peak hours (morning time between 9 – 11 and especially Sunday). Service is ok but waiting for a table sucks. Food is whatever — typical Denny’s menu — but worth it if you’re hungover and needing greasy food.

Came here on a Wednesday night. They had a few big parties enter and clearly weren’t ready. Didn’t stop the group working that night, these workers got down! Fernando started us off with some drinks that I knocked over accidentally. Then Erica brought out our food super quick! Lastly, everyone was super busy and I’m impatient as hell! I was so full though I decided to be sweet and approached Sarah after I used the restroom, don’t worry I just went number one and washed my hands! Anyways, she rang us up and even split up our checks. Maybe she did it because I’m handsome! ;) Gracias to everyone tonight!

Still waiting for our DRINKS to come. This has to be the slowest service I’ve ever experienced at a Denny’s. It’s a Friday night but it’s not even crowded. I drove two hours out to San Diego for the day and I’m not in the mood to be waiting before a long drive back –_–

I sat for 15 minutes with no service or any kind of acknowledgment. I left and will never return to this location looks old and smells like sewage anyways that does not make one hungry or appeal to their appetite.

Went to Denny’s for breakfast with my daughter this morning. What a great experience! The food was delicious and the service top notch! This location is by far the best Denny’s I have eaten at to date. Love the new menu offerings, so many yummy choices. Fast, good, and affordable. A definite cat’s meow!

Breakfast was pretty good. I had french toast bacon and bold coffee. The bold coffee wasn’t very bold. Other than that service and food was perfect.

This is the jankiest Denny’s I’ve ever been to. I was with a party of 5 and every cup and class had chips in them. The waiter, Marco, was rude and didn’t ask anyone how they wanted their eggs. He actually forgot to take our drink order all together. When the food came he forgot my daughter’s plate for another five minutes. Yeah, it’s Denny’s but a little effort would go a long way. Gross.

Took my son there for a quick bite to eat. This location is always busy in the morning.
Eunice who is a good server who has been there a long time was our server.
My whole entrée was cold: eggs, bacon, sausage, homefries.
The problem with Dennys is that the bacon, sausage, and homefries sit on the grill all day. I understand they cannot cook these items to order because of ticket time adherence, but when they see homefries on my plate that look old and burnt that they should never make it to my table. First my son ordered milk and we got OJ. Then I ordered a meal that came with OJ and I didn’t receive it until I had to ask for it half way through my meal.
Speed of service was slow, although the servers seem to be running around sometimes I feel they have too many tables to give great guest service.
And if I can get one cup of coffee from any Dennys that is not stained and dirty that would be appreciated.

Customers service was ok on the phone but when I got there terrible I ordered breakfast to go and ordered coffee but didnt even received sugar for it also wanted slices of tomatoes but also didn’t receive it very disappointed I called there excuse oh well we didn’t charge you for the tomatoes I don’t care about the money just give me what I ordered I’ll pay just get it right

One word: Miguel.
I’m serious.
If you want absolutely perfect service, ask to be seated in Miguel’s section. I PROMISE he is worth the wait.
Your coffee will always be filled.
Your needs will always be met.
Your table will remain clean.
Your food will make it to the table quickly.
Your face will have a smile on it every time he comes around.
Of course, Denny’s isn’t all that expensive.
A family of 4 will cost about $ 40.00.
My go-​to meal is the steak and eggs for about $ 12.00. Can’t go wrong with that!

This is more than likely the Denny’s I eat at the most because it’s the most convenient.
There have been good times and bad times here but I don’t feel that way about any of the other Denny’s I visit such as the one in San Ysidro or National City locations.
Sometimes they get so busy that they are falling behind and the customers are the ones who have to pay the price and are still expected to leave a tip?
Hate how I have to leave tips when I receive lousy food but since I eat here every once in awhile that I feel obligated to just to keep good terms. Feels sort of like a hostile situation but again that is the price the customer has to pay at this Denny’s.
The cleanliness of this restaurant is questionable because the tables salt+pepper, ketchup, hot sauces and menus are always dirty which is really gross.

I ordered what the waiter recommended and I hated It, also the customer service sucked, plus there was a crackhead insider the restaurant that wouldn’t leave so they had to call the cops on her, DON’T EVER GO THERE!!!
Wtf was I thinking going here, my steak wasn’t even cooked properly also there was a bunch of black people around me that made me feel uncomfortable because they were whispering to each other when I pulled out my wallet and noticed all my stacks, I was scared for my life so I call my personal security and got out of there ASAP!!!
