I recently moved to he Clairemont area and had been looking for a great stylist. I came across Dave’s reviews on Unilocal and thought I would give him a try. I have naturally curly hair and it is sometimes hard to find someone who knows how to cut it well. I have to say that the reviews are spot on. If I could give him 6 stars I would. No one had ever recommended that I cut my hair in layers to add volume. It is the best cut I have ever had. I also had him color my hair as well, and again.fantastic. Thank you Dave!

Love Dave! I have long, thick hair that he knows how to cut it just right and the highlights look fantastic from the first day all the way through my next appointment! Been going to him for almost a year and will definitely keep coming back.

Almost two years later, I have never had such a good haircut! I looks good every day. And he is a genius with color.

The Unilocal reviews are right! David is the only hair stylist I’ve met who is good, fast, reasonably priced and has a great personality! After trying 3 different hairdressers to change my almost platinum blonde hair to brunette, David was my last resort — and what a good choice I made. His chair is by far the most comfortable of any salon I have visited. And if that isn’t enough, he also has a leather foot rest that you can stretch your legs out on and he has no problem working around you. Dave engaged me in a long consultation and, after realizing he knew my hair much better than me, I gave him full reign to decide on the cut and color. This tuned out to be a wise decision. After 3 different color treatments, he achieved my goal and managed to finish in a little over an hour and a half. I was compelled to give him a much bigger tip than I typically give hairdressers since the experience was so good and the price was so reasonable. Thanks, David, this is the best cut and color job I ever had! I’ll be back soon.
