Dance Lessons With Lexi

I have been dancing since 2010 and I’ve had many instructors across the states and around the world. I can honestly say she is, by far, the best instructor I’ve had. Lexi knows how to break down the steps for anyone to understand, no matter the level of experience. I was a guy with no experience in dancing and with Lexi’s help, I was able to understand dance moves, listen to music and know what dances I could dance with the music, and grew my confidence in dancing to where I wanted to start competitive dancing. If I ever move back to San Diego area, without hesitation, I’ll come back to Lexi for more lessons. SHE’S THE BEST INSTRUCTOR EVER!!!

Lexi is a wonderful dancer, teacher and person! I have taken many lessons from her teaching me alone, in a group and as a coach. She is kind, caring and knowledgable. She is a wonderful teacher! She loves to get new dancers started, but also has a gift for finding and fixing problems for dancers who are more experienced. Don’t put it off — dance is a great way to exercise and stay fit, to express yourself through music, to socialize and just have fun. And Lexi is the perfect teacher to help you!

I took my first lesson with lexi about 2 years ago and was immediately hooked. You won’t find a better teacher than lexi! she knows how to work with every experience level, she’s patient and extremely pationate about dancing!
– Every lesson I leave there feeling like I’m on top of the world– social salsa, Lindy hop, west coast swing, rumba, you name she knows it.
–I’ve taken lessons with other studios and other teachers to make sure I wasn’t being biased, but she is no joke the real deal. I’ve personally seen her compete and take 1^st in every category.

My wife and I started dancing 2 years ago. From the beginning Lexi’s mastery of Ballroom, innovative instruction, and her endless patience allowed for a great learning experience that was not only fruitful, but an absolute joy!
Lexi has a way to make, what seems to be the most complex steps, seem simple to learn and master. Her exuberance and contagious smile immediately puts you at ease. Without reservation, I recommend her as the «go to» dance instructor! If you have a special event (wedding, military ball, etc) or just want to learn some new moves; Lexi is and should be your first choice!
Lexi is great with adult students. She is simply amazing with children! She has taught our 12 year old son to Tango, Salsa, and improved his Waltz and Cha Cha. Our son’s maturity has blossomed with Lexi and paid dividends at home. I know what you’re thinking, «What 12 year old boy wants to learn Ballroom? «The answer is most do, they just don’t know it yet. Lexi has a vast knowledge of Hip Hop and Jazz that she had taught our son as well, a talent that he loves to show his friends. We plan to continue lessons for our son as long as Lexi contiues to teach. Thank you Lexi for all that you’ve given our family and contiue to do!

When I lived in California I took both group classes and private lessons with Lexi and she is fantastic! She is incredibly knowledgeable but also very patient and kind. Whether you are an experienced dancer or you’ve never danced a day in your life she is a great choice. I have been taking dance lesson’s since 2010, that being a mix of group and private lessons, in my four years of learning to dance I have to say my favorite periods of instruction have been with Lexi.
Dancing is fun, but she has the ability to make it more than just fun, she makes it memorable as well. She is very loving and passionate about the beautiful art that is dance, but her passion is only rivaled by her drive, enthusiasm, and dedication to help others learn how to dance.
Whether it’s a huge group class or soon to be married couple, or just a really uncoordinated guy, she is more than capable of overcoming whatever challenge YOU THINK you will pose for her as a student.
She is patient, and very descriptive. Doesn’t matter what your level of experience or understanding is. She does a great job of demonstrating and explaining. She will work with you, and she WILL NOT LET YOU QUIT!
My best advice is that you have confidence is her ability, trust what she tells you to do, and be as patient with yourself as she is willing to be with you.
