History

Established in 1984.

After twenty years of providing bookkeeping, financial statement and tax services, Curtis McAllaster, CPA, limited his practice to tax matters only. In 1998 Curtis became a charter member of the American Society of IRS Problem Solvers, ASTPS, a group of Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants, and Enrolled Agents dedicated to the representation of taxpayers involving unfiled tax returns, unpaid taxes, liens and levies, audits, and other tax controversies.

As a member of the ASTPS who has earned recognition as Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, (CTRS), I am uniquely qualified to represent taxpayers before the IRS and other tax authorities. Our dedication to high standards and work ethic is the reason our client base returns year after year — especially those who previously came to us for problem resolution.

I’ve been in practice in San Diego since 1984. Formerly in the North Park area of San Diego, I relocated to a great office in Ocean Beach, San Diego, in May, 2000. I am licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by:

As a CPA I am authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS along with attorneys and enrolled agents. Representing people before the IRS is by far the most rewarding part of my accounting and tax practice because, as you can imagine, when the burden of IRS Problems is lifted from someone’s shoulders the relief they feel is so great! With thanks like that it’s no wonder that this service is rewarding.
