They charged my long coat for $ 16, but when I took it home I found the sleeves still dirty. Did get a redo but still no difference. They blamed my coat was too old… Today I found my receipt for the previous dry cleaning at LA, $ 8 for decent cleaning. Stay away from it, overpriced and not good quality.

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. They are cheaters and liars. The owner promised to clean my new jacket. But unfortunately my jacket isn’t wearable anymore. Because it’s not black anymore it has a new colour and alot of red dots. Be careful guys don’t deal with her. She doesn’t keep her promise. She promised to refund the jacket price if something went wrong or at least to refund the cleaning price. I don’t recommend them for you guys at all.

I’ve used their services in the past and I’ve always been satisfied with the quality and the pricing. The 5 stars this time are for their superb customer service.
I brought in a suit just before Thanksgiving and when it was ready they called me to remind me to pick it up. They said they were going to close for the Thanksgiving weekend and thought we might need the suit during the holidays. I could not pick up the phone at the time and I only returned their call after they had already closed. I explained we did need the suit for a very special occasion and they were so kind to reopen the store for us to pick it up –and they also refused a tip!
This kind of customer service is hard to find, I will definitely keep going back and I have been recommending them to my friends.

I was in need of repairing my leather jacket, and a Zara jacket. La Jolla Crossroads cleaners did a magnificent job in fixing my pieces. My jackets look like new.

They did an Amazing Job! getting a wine stain off a dress I had just designed and sewed. The same night I completed the dress was the same night I spilled wine on it. You can imagine how I felt. I was thinking I might have to make it all over again. Thanks to Crossroads Cleaners I can save my time for a new design!

This was one of the few dry cleaners I could find that were green and don’t use harsh chemicals. The staff is super friendly and their prices are reasonable. For 3 dresses and a skirt, I paid around $ 40. Two of my dresses were DVF, so I was ok paying a little more than normal. They quoted me a 5 day turnaround, but said they could do it quicker if needed. I wasn’t in a rush, so I just told them to take their time. When I picked up my clothes, they didn’t smell like chemicals, which was a huge bonus. Will definitely go back.
They are located in an apt complex, which is a little odd, but it’s ok to park in the short-​term parking when you pull into the lot.

I’ve come here a couple times because they are in my apartment complex. The people who run it are very friendly but the quality of the dry cleaning is terrible. I paid about $ 118 for the last batch I picked up and quickly noticed it had a musty smell to it, almost like it was mildew. It made my closet smell and nothing seemed fresh. Totally disgusted, I brought this over to another dry cleaner and they said they are either using dirty water or poor chemicals to clean my clothes. They quickly pointed out that their press is too hot by the permanent markings it left on all of my work slacks. I’m super annoyed that I paid over $ 100 for my clothes to be ruined AND have a terrible smell that I had to pay La Jolla Cleaners to remove. Biggest waste of money.

My favorite dry cleaners in the UTC area because:
1) they are extremely diligent (if they see a remaining stain (which I can never see) after the first go, they will offer another cleaning solution and will wait for you to approve to send it back for free)
2) the family that runs it is extremely friendly
3) you receive an email notification when your dry cleaning is ready
4) they are most affordable in the area

I had issues with my alteration but Rob is very nice and took care of me.

I hate to give bad reviews, but I was quite disappointed by this place. I am giving them 2 stars because the owners are nice and they were willing to keep the shop open for me for couple minutes after closing time. eventhough we decided for me to just come the next day, as I felt bad, I liked that they offered.
why the negative review?
This is the first time ever using them. I came here for an alternation/​tailoring of my bridesmaid dress as it was too big for $ 65 (discounted for being a first timer). We agreed on what to be fixed and they indicated to come pick it up 2 weeks later as they send their alternations once a week to a lady who does it for them.
** So, for those who are reading this Unilocal,note of caution that it does take a week or two to get things altered because they send it off to someone else.
I thought that after the 2 weeks, everything would be fix. Well, I was wrong. Although my dress was big for me, which was ok because the measurements was something we agreed upon, the dress was not complete and ready to take home. Inside of my dress there were still cuts in there from the alternation and the seamstress did not sew it up. I was the one that actually caught this mistake and had to point it out to them, which they verbally indicated that their seamstress is older and sometimes forgets. Also, the flower petals were not sewed on (this was agreed upon on the first day I took it in). So, they had to take it back again for another 8 days. Overall, it took over 3 weeks to get it all done. My wedding dress alteration look less than 2 weeks at another alternation in L. A, so the timeline was pretty long to get this dress fixed.
** Also, another note of caution is that since they don’t do their own alternation and they ship it out, if the alternation does not fit you and you want to get it fixed again, you have to pay another fee. However, they do tell you this, which is kind of them.
In addition, on top of everything, they weren’t originally going to put a plastic wrap with a hanger on my dress like all the other cleaners typically do. They handed me my dress and I had to ask them for it. Fortunately they were able to find one and wrap it up.
I’m sure they are great at the normal dry cleaning stuff; however, I would not come here or recommend alterations at this place.

This is an update to my first review… since I was not happy with the way my comforter was dry-​cleaned, the manager actually made an effort and called up to redo the cleaning at no charge.
I totally appreciate this effort!
Unfortunately I am traveling for work and had my husband pick up the comforter… I haven’t yet seen the redo — but I wanted to make a note in the meanwhile — when someone actually cares for their business and is willing to redo something to make sure the customer is happy — I feel that speaks a lot.
I would not mind coming back here and giving other stuff for drycleaning.

I came to Crossroads Cleaners based on the Unilocal reviews. They are located inside of an apartment complex. Rob was very helpful, as I had to call to get help finding the location. It is a little difficult at first, but once you find it, it’s really not that hard. It’s a family-​owned busines. The family also own the deli across the way, which is pretty cool in the rare case the doors are closed at the cleaners. You can walk across the way and get someone to help you from the deli.
I needed some TLC for my White comforter. Having a white comforter and a dog… or two… don’t mix very well. I had a 5 inch tear in the middle and a few stains from muddy paws. I recived a small discount as a first-​time customer. I also took in 2 peacoats. When I went to pick up my comforter, I was not satisfied. I still felt like it wasn’t as clean, or white, as it could be. Rob offered to send it back for another round of dry-​cleaning at no charge. I was a little bummed, as I had company coming in from out of town and needed it for my bed. Knowing this, Rob did his best to make sure I got the comforter back in a timely manner. He even called me as soon as it was in.
Picking up my comforter after the second time around, I was pleased. All of the stains weren’t out, as they were pretty imbedded from my canine companion, but it was a LOT whiter, and the stains were more faint than before. They also sewed up the 5″ tear nicely considering it was in the middle of my comforter.
Great customer service. They take care of you. I will be back!

Great service and cheap. My dress should take about 3 – 4 business days but the owner did it in 2 days because I had to have it done sooner. He didn’t charge me extra!

It was a big Vegas weekend — friends being employed, getting into grad school, birthdays, etc. So you need to go all out, right? RIGHT.
Long story short — I was the drunken obnoxious mess that no one wants to become. But that’s all through word-​of-​mouth. The only thing I remember was the pounding headache during the car ride home. Oh, and more importantly, the sight of my brand-​new blazer covered in my own juices, smelling slightly like Goose. Ugh.
I took my blazer immediately to my usual cleaners that Monday morning. Not two hours later, I got a call telling me to swing by. BAD NEWS. First, they don’t take things that have been thrown up on. Second, they said that there was no way they could get this out.
Damn. $ 130 down the proverbial drain. I dreaded the thought of losing so much money, and desperately Unilocal’ed other nearby cleaners. My eyes immediately jumped to this one — hella reviews and FIVE stars.
It was right in the middle of Crossroads, and was surprisingly small. (Turns out, they do all their washes at a different location.) I spoke to the guy there and explained my situation. He said he would do whatever he could, even put it through two washes if needed. «Do whatever you need to do, just PLEASE save my jacket!»
It took about three days because it really did need to get cleaned twice. The first time it came back, it still had stains on it. The owner immediately sent it back, telling them that it needed to be completely clean. I picked it up today and it looks as good as new! And he didn’t even charge me for the second cleaning!
I will ALWAYS take my dry-​clean-​only clothes here from now on.

An excellent dry cleaning experience all around. I chose this place because of its alternative (aka not overwhelming chemical-​laden) cleaning process. I am very chemically sensitive and I’m very happy with the final product here. My clothes never smell like they’ve been dry cleaned… they just smell like… nothing! That in and of itself is enough to keep me coming back.
In addition, I’ve had a great customer service experience. I once was unable to come back to get my clothes until over a month after I’d dropped them off, but they kept them safe. The owners are friendly and accommodating.
The only minor negatives are the weird location that can be a bit confusing to get to on the first go, and fact that they are closed on Sundays. Oh well, still easily a 5-​star.

I brought my pants in here after about a year of them accumulating dirt, dust, and mold. Al hooked it up no problem. I came in, filled out my information, had a nice lengthy chat with the guy, and was out the door to start my day. The employees here are really down to earth and are willing to help you out.
When my pants were taking too long to clean, I instantly got a call from them informing me of the delay. Since I wasn’t in a hurry, it was no big deal for me. However, I find it to be a very nice gesture and a display of fine customer service to notify me.
Once I got my pants back, they looked brand new and ready to wear for my upcoming business trip. Best of all, it was eco-​friendly, like their website says. Good quality, good customer service, and a good price. Thanks Crossroads!

Yes, you read right. I am reviewing a cleaners place. But keep in mind, I would only do so if A) the place rocked or B) the place destroyed my precious duds and I had to report their a** to the BBB (like some dry cleaning places out there needed done like yesterday).
Anyhow, Crossroads falls under Catagory A. I Luv Luv Luv it here. And this place is ORGANIC, people. For all you cheap chemical-​luvers out there, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. A HUGE one. And you don’t have to pay an arm and a leg in exchange for quality.
I didn’t think it was possible for my clothes to come back NEWER and fresher than before!!! But they do, each and every time. Extra stars for the super organized check-​in system (no more lost pieces, yay!) and excellent customer service. There is a gracious and lovely lady at the front desk who is always there and makes a point of getting to know your name and most importantly, getting to know YOU. Seriously, she remembered my name the moment she asked what it was.
One time, I took my gal pal with me to Crossroads and the lady (god bless her, what’s her name??) greeted me like I was the Pope and my gal pal like she was my 2^nd in Command. Er whatever, you get the point. Anyhow, she gave my friend a coupon and invited her back if she ever wanted to try them out. My g-​pal lives in OB for crying out loud and she’s ready to make the switch!
The big secret? I think they use fairy magic and «clean» everyone’s clothes with pixie dust and let angels blow kisses on each piece, just for you. I told the lovely reception lady my theory and she just blushed and giggled and did not deny it. I’m just saying…
Bottom line, I don’t know how they make your clothes come out like a baby’s butt but they just do. This place is not really near me and I don’t care, I will ONLY bring my clothes here. Like probably like… forever.
Oh P. S. This place is located in like a really odd private cookie-​cutter community, where everything looks like sand-​color and residents appear to have their own private Idaho going on here i.e., their own beauty salon, their own post office (seriously?) and yes, their own organic dry cleaners. I don’t know about the other small stores, but Crossroads is open to the public (thank god!). Just park somewhere in the whole 4 stalls they have in front of the post office (sorry, 1^st come, 1^st serve on the rock-​star parking) or just park inside their covered parking lots which is for guests and residents alike. I’m still morbidly curious about the crazy Stepford wives thing going on here, but that’s a totally different review… Enjoy!

All my friends call me «Metro» which I hate. but I do spend a lot of money on Robert Graham, CrownHolder, Coogi and Polo gear. So selecting a new place to dry clean my clothes was big for me. I decided to try Crossroads on some less expensive items first and when they came back smelling fresh and not smelling like chemicals I was SOO on board. This works out nicely for me since they are DOWNSTAIRS from my loft apartment. I couldn’t ask for more convenience. The prices were identical to where I used to go and I don’t have to get in my car to pick up and drop off clothes!
The proprietor (Robert) is extremely nice and made me feel safe that my (albeit overly expensive) clothing would be just fine. As long as I am nearby it will always be Crossroads Cleaners.
