History

Established in 2012.

Executive Chef and owner Vicenzo Loverso introduces his eighth restaurant, Cremolose, the premier European auto-​grill, gelato and specialty dessert restaurant anchored in San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter. Cremolose features 48 gelatos, cremolose-​infused specialty cocktails by Jerry Piakowski, and a full European menu in a bright 5,000 square foot historical space. Cremolose’s extensive dessert menu features 40 cakes made in-​house in individual serving sizes as well as larger cakes, available to go.

Business Owner

Vincenzo Loverso, originally from Palermo, Italy, has opened several restaurants in the course of his career. He opened his first restaurant, Grotto Italiano, in New Jersey in 1988. He then opened Osteria Panevino and Greystone The Steakhouse in downtown San Diego, Osteria Panevino in Las Vegas, Osetra The Fish House in downtown San Diego and Origano in Hillcrest, Calif.
