Specialties

I specialize in tutoring math, physics, and c++. Math topics include algebra, trigonometry, pre-​calculus, and calculus 1 and 2. I tutor all lower division physics, including mechanics/​kinematics, electromagnetism, and modern physics. I also tutor several areas of computer programming, including c++, Fortran, MATLAB, and scientific programming.

History

Established in 2014.

I have worked as a tutor full time for about 2 years, and prior to that I was a scientific programmer. I have a BS degree in physics from UCSD.

I have been tutored by Chris for few years now. He is very knowlegable, intelligent, patient, calm and his tutoring makes sence. His specialty is math and physics. He is very personable and take his time to explain the material until you really understand. Next semester I am taking physics, so I am planning to book him again for my class.

Chris was an amazing tutor. I hadn’t been in a math class in over 20 years and decided to go back to school. The first day of algebra class I knew I needed help so I searched tutoring on craigslist and found Chris. His prices were very reasonable and his teachings methods outstanding. Long story short I met with Chris weekly during my class and passed worry an A, I had fun too. Chris is a really good guy and knows his stuff I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs a tutor.
