This is the gas station where I always go because is a block away from my job, been there for so many years and people working there at evening (when I usually go) is very friendly, price is better than the others and compared with the rest, I can full my tank with $ 40-​$ 45 while the rest takes over $ 50 and gas go soooo fast.

My favorite gas station in National City.
Pros:
— near the freeway
— well lit at night time
— not too busy during the day time
Cons:
— near the freeway (if you come at the wrong hours…)
— in front of the base (same reason^, it’s impossible to exit this gas station during traffic hours…)
— small

Like another reviewer, I stopped here on my way home, not realizing it would be such a pleasant experience.
Both the interior and exterior were clean and spacious. Cashier was friendly. I don’t like using public restrooms but I really has to go, so I decided to give it a shot and was happy to find that their co-​ed stall clean as well. Smelled fresh too! Kudos to management here. These are the kind of gas stations you only hope to run into on road trips. Clean gas stations sell more snacks! Nobody wants to browse when everything looks unsanitary.
They’re conveniently located right off of the Main St./National City exit on the 5. I’ll def keep this exit in mind for the future. Easy to get in, a bit harder to get out and back on the freeway. Nonetheless, a nice stop

I stopped in here for gas on my way home the other day. The station was clean, the inside was clean, and the attendant was friendly.
